I love the contrast between the B&W. New Yorkers always look so chic, and you're so able to capture that look.
September 16, 2009 at 5:23 pm
that second one is awesome
September 16, 2009 at 5:24 pm
Both shoes are amazing!
September 16, 2009 at 5:25 pm
Both of these are very nice. Which one would I wear? The first one is so chic. I somehow can't wear bright red unless it's very subtle.
I also love it when the daily comment code is ironic to real life. Today, it wants me to spell "rain" as it's raining outside…

It’s possible you simply need to determine whether you can wear cool colours or are a warm colour person. Then you can choose the type of red that will suit you. Unless of course your skin’s base tone is a strongly ‘red.’ For me, i can’t wear any yellow because my undertone is yellow and I look jaundiced!

Chic, chic, chic. Must have shoes in top photo.
September 16, 2009 at 5:35 pm

what an adorable little mia farrow crop that second girl has going on. why is it that on the last leg of my hair-growing excursion I get all antsy for the short stuff again?
September 16, 2009 at 6:30 pm
I love both looks, but the pair of shoes in the first photo are gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous- I need them!
September 16, 2009 at 6:45 pm
September 16, 2009 at 6:56 pm
You have been busy! Great pictures!
September 16, 2009 at 7:16 pm
That first outfit is so gorgeous, polished but carefree, love the pleats and the colours combined…funky sunnies & shoes!
September 16, 2009 at 7:17 pm
a just loved her sunglasses. so chic!
September 16, 2009 at 7:20 pm
I do like the top photo, especially the skirt, but the second one is what I love. Her short hair and bold red dress with the folds is something I'd love to wear! Plus the shoes and jacket complete it so perfectly.
September 16, 2009 at 7:26 pm
the shoes on the first girl are so lovely – it's an on-trend look that's very right now but also a great pair that you can wear for seasons to come. love the way she's rocking out that blazer too :)

A simple red dress and blazer never fails.
Black makes such a great backdrop for bright color. Modern youthful elegance
September 16, 2009 at 8:03 pm
I love the pleated skirt and dress.
September 16, 2009 at 8:06 pm

The first ensemble is to die for personally. Very stylish lady indeed. Love the very feminine pleated skirt and elasticated two-tone heels. :)

Love the shoes on the first ensemble. And I just adore everything in the second outfit.
September 16, 2009 at 8:35 pm
Very perky, very perfect for early Indian Summer.
September 16, 2009 at 8:40 pm
why are these women dressed so simply, yet they look so chic. urgh, i bet they both don't wear any makeup and are naturally beautiful too. how i long to be one of 'those' girls :(
September 16, 2009 at 8:41 pm
I LOVE RED!!!! Both outfits are darling… LOVE the shoes and I really need the red pleated skirt. Need.
September 16, 2009 at 8:46 pm
I'm surprised it took Scott this long to catch a shot of you, Hannah. lolChris U.
September 16, 2009 at 10:50 pm
Both of these are really nice photos. I like what both women are wearing. Very simple, but any thing but plain.
The framing, pose and colors are wonderful in the second shot. There are some really nice lines and shapes to the overall composition. The bold colors are eye-catching but sit well in the photo. Once again, nice work!

Black, White, and Red; three staple colors. I love the intense black, contrasted with strong reds. Both photos are fantastic and effortlessly beautuful.
September 17, 2009 at 1:23 am
I love that short hair! Very chic!
September 17, 2009 at 1:58 am
Beautiful stylish girls! I love the shoes on both photos and am wondering if the first girl tried to match the colour of her lipstick with the colour of her skirt or it just happened naturally…
The top photograph is amazing.
September 17, 2009 at 2:53 am
I am warming up to this red thing that is going on for Fall. the second outfit is so cute its ridiculous. I love both of the blazers.
September 17, 2009 at 3:03 am
I want to marry the second one's hair.
Wait, that's probably not legal yet. Oh well, it is certainly striking, and she has a wonderful charm about her.
September 17, 2009 at 3:15 am
I like the second one best. Nice color. Just blue, red and black.
September 17, 2009 at 3:42 am
The second pic is awsome!I like son air gentil, sa pose delicate avec ses mains nonchalament posées sur ses genoux… It is like if she was smiling without smiling. It is her eyes?
September 17, 2009 at 5:05 am
on the first photo: charming outfit, charming moment.
September 17, 2009 at 5:42 am
Is it not Emmanuelle Chriqui from Entourage in the first pic? She looks so beautiful

September 17, 2009 at 6:22 am
Wow, they both look fantastic, I love the shoes!!
September 17, 2009 at 7:23 am
Love the first, especially the heels.
September 17, 2009 at 8:37 am
The first woman looks like she could be Giovanna's sister or cousin
September 17, 2009 at 9:04 am
i love the pleated skirts and the red! i'm a redhead so its next to impossible for me to wear red, maybe a skirt would work with a black top? i love pleats!

I usually dislike short hair on young women, but Damn, she's cute.
September 17, 2009 at 11:40 am
the pixie haircut, the shoes, the high neckline… she is feminine in such a unique way. what a beautiful capture~x,s
September 17, 2009 at 12:10 pm
Ms. top red lady looks so happy and comfortable and I totally just want to crawl into those adorable shoes and be her for a day. Great shot. So expressive.
September 17, 2009 at 12:50 pm

September 17, 2009 at 4:35 pm
I love the first look, Prada shoes are very nice.
September 17, 2009 at 10:12 pm
both great outfits, but like others have said the shoes are definitely the best part! does anyone know where to find heels like these?
September 17, 2009 at 10:23 pm
This makes me want to cut my hair short again.
September 17, 2009 at 11:11 pm
Wish I could marry the second woman (short hair). She is dripping with grace and class. I bet she's not only smart, but very kind. Sigh.
September 18, 2009 at 12:01 am
two very different shades of red with gorgeous pleating. loveit.
September 18, 2009 at 12:33 am
I love the girl in the chair, so cute!
September 18, 2009 at 12:15 pm
I dig both jackets shown here. They have a more boxy kind of style that Im feeling right now. It seems like all the new jackets in stores I can afford are still cut in the style of the past 10 years which is overtly feminine and embelished with some annoying extra thing. Time to hit the thrift stores.
September 18, 2009 at 9:32 pm
i want that first outfit. it's so me!
September 19, 2009 at 3:14 am
Both are DOLLS!
Vintage is hot!

The second girl is so amazing, wonderful, beatiful and simply gorgeous that now i doubt my heterosexuality
September 20, 2009 at 5:52 pm
oh I love the red frilly dress with blazer. Haircut just seals the deal.
September 21, 2009 at 7:32 am
LOVE the shoes in the first pic, where can I get them?????
September 22, 2009 at 8:59 pm
Really digging the second girls red dress, nice!
September 23, 2009 at 12:36 pm
the best thing about these pictures is the relation of the person to the background. in the first, it looks like that chair was placed there just for her! in the second, her red skirt against the blue and grey-blue colors of the background is amazing.
September 28, 2009 at 9:13 am
Both look absolutely stunning- well put together. Number 2 is a great shot, and I covet Number 1's outfit.

I prefer the first picture

How can aynone respond reasonably to that question? Cheap shoes aren’t going to last very long. Remember the old adage, You get what you pay for. You have to chose whether you want to spend $ 15 a month on shoes or over $ 100 and get a pair that will last a few years. Don’t buy shoes made in Asia or Latin America.
