Nice picture (except for the cigarette). I find it so commun and so easy to be "chic" or having style and attitude, (the "you don't care" look) with a cigarette
Perfect shot the way her legs and feet are turned. Playful! And I feel this end of summer coolness – the neutral colors, the nubbly shirt/jacket paired with shorts, the tanned legs – and great expression.
Just beautiful. I think that this jacket has such a classic look.. Belting it in and adding shorts just modernises it perfectly. How I wish I could be at London fashion week at the moment, doing pictures like these! Really inspirational.
I love the overall look, which is interesting considering I can't say I like the individual aspects. For instance, I'm not the biggest fan of the shorts rise, the shoe style, the rolled sleeves, the overdone skinny belt at the waist, or, honestly, how the bag sits so low. But taken as a whole? Absolutely sublime. Isn't it funny how aesthetics work?
This looks like the epitome of a woman who is both humble and approachable. Very well put together. Not too much, just the right amount. Very simple and subtle, yet so elegant. Even with the cigarette. I tell ya, you and Garance have a way of making smoking look elegant and graceful, rather than harmful. (this coming from somone who hates cigarettes!!)
I think London fashion might get my best style vote…its sucking me in without much effort…The taste is there, only wish the shorts could be ageless…I'm sure I could conjure up something:> Great find and great shot!
Lovely clothes and lovely lady. The vintage coat/shirt has wonderful texture and lovely detail on the pockets. She's probably still laughing after having seen Under-the-Radar boy in the street.
Her clothes individually look rumpled but as an ensemble, it works great. The importance of her belt in this outfit cannot be overstated. As far as cigarettes go, as unhealthy as they are, pretty people make them look ok while a lesser attractive person smoking makes me never want to smoke. sad but true.
This is my favorite lots of leg look yet. Great legs; flaunt 'em while you've got 'em. Who would have thought to wear those heels with short shorts?!? The jacket and the big, slouchy bag are great. I'm with the others who hate the cigarette. Please consider asking your subjects to get rid of their's before you take their picture. You are an influencer; use it positively.
Linen shown at its best here in the shirt jacket with the lovely pockets. The belt is key here to bring the whole look together. Love the creases on the khaki shorts and a hint of white in the tank/tee underneath.
