Garance just seems to radiate happiness and fun. The clothes matter, of course, but her smile is absolutely her best accessory! From her photos and writing, she must be a great companion.
As always, so so so lovely. Her shoes are beautiful, I love their color and masculine quality. What's also great to me is how comfortable she looks! It's frustrating when people are well dressed, but so stiff looking!
I love your pictures and your aesthetic but honestly not loving the pictures of your girlfriend. You (justifiably) may be inspired by her personally, but as a stranger I don't see how this photo is inspiring in any way. To me, it seems like you're enamored with your girlfriend and that bias is clouding your usually on point eye.
mmmmm, slight detection of sour grapes, perhaps? why shouldn’t he think his own girlfriend is stylish, since she caught his eye, stylistically, before she was his girlfriend? and, the brogues/monk strap
shoes are certainly trending right now, and takes a certain kind of je ne sais quoi to pull that off. What i like and identify with most about Garance (and share this personal
style aesthetic) is her lowkey approach to fashion and style. That is a truly stylish woman…when you only apply a new or trending style…
as it applies to your own ;) Not to mention that they are now experiencing this mad world of fashion in tandem; and how it now relates to *both of their simultaneous points of view. I admire a man who admires his woman’s style irregardless of how others perceive her, so good for you, Scott.
Really like this shot. You can see the emotion from one to the other and it doesn't look awkward usually when someone who takes many photos has their photo taken they look awkward or a little like they want to turn the camera on the other person. Perfect as usual!
Dang, girl's got some shapely calves! Perfect balance with the manly shoes. And I love the "I'm just going to make these pants into shorts right now by rolling them up" attitude. Lovely and fun.
like the scarf, give a credit on the whole presentation!
the combination of colour is natural but cool!
P.S: I got your book from USA, my friend helped me to buy it, and carried it all the way to HK…am I the first one to have your book in HK? If so, it's a great honour!
The warm brown oxford shoes: Here on Garance AND in the RL shots from earlier this week AND on the striking young man with the ginger hair before that. The sartorialist is on to something big, has anyone else noticed this? Why oxfords? Why now?
Reading the comments about the shoes, I suddently feel old–wasn't it just yesterday that we all wore the "men's-look" oxfords? Oops, nope. That was the '80s. Great to see it back again.
Instant shopping list of three things I'd like to buy in that photo (shoes, watch, scarf). But you just can't buy style. Lovely. You two make a gorgeous couple.
I'm 99% sure the shoes are by YMC. I bought a pair exactly like them a couple of years ago at Odin in NYC. I've worn mine every day (with jeans and no socks of course) for the last 2 years. They look super hot on girls too of course.
J'adore tes chaussures Garance! I've been looking for something similar for ages but it seems to be mission impossible in Belgium. Hmm, seriously considering to emigrate!
Oxfords for women are hot. Especially without socks. I love the look. I want me some wingtips (I’m a woman). I could see wearing them with nearly anything — but what appeals to me in my imagination is a floaty floral print dress with oxfords.

I love the shoes! they are not manly but look very old-fashioned and just adorable to me! She seems so adorablely sweet.

I love those shoes. I really want to find a pair like that. They are the perfect finishing touch to complete the polished yet carefree look she has.

Oxfords for women are hot. Especially without socks. I love the look. I want me some wingtips (I’m a woman). I could see wearing them with nearly anything — but what appeals to me in my imagination is a floaty floral print dress with oxfords.
