Love the graphical pattern of her dress.
October 7, 2009 at 8:47 pm
what a beautiful dress! the color, pattern, and style are all perfect!
October 7, 2009 at 8:51 pm
The hair, the shoes, the way she holds her cigarette… truely elegant.
October 7, 2009 at 8:52 pm
The print on this dress and the bright pop of color on the shoes is genius.
October 7, 2009 at 8:54 pm
OMG.. that is ME in a few months when my hair is grown out … LOVE the photo…the blue and red prints ROCK!
Ooh, I love it. Very modern-cool. Not a big fan of the ciggie, but I adore that ring. It's really textured and gives a pop to the outfit!
October 7, 2009 at 8:57 pm
Love her dress! Gorgeous color. Great photo too!

October 7, 2009 at 10:11 pm
Holy hotness I covet those shoes!
October 7, 2009 at 10:21 pm
The print on the shoes and dress are unexpected, yet not. There is a logic to the madness. I adore it!
October 7, 2009 at 10:24 pm

October 7, 2009 at 10:28 pm

Cute dress cute shoes.
October 7, 2009 at 10:38 pm
Those lets and those shoes are perfect? This perfection~!
October 7, 2009 at 10:40 pm
Aiiish! She's gorgeous and, in a grey fashion world, isn't afraid of wearing colour. Nice curvy legs too, instead of the usual baguettes.
p.s. I'd like to say thank you for always, ALWAYS, including people of every colour, when you cover Milan, Paris, London, Sydney, etc… people have a limited idea of what beauty is (see Vogue and other mags which are still overwhelmingly white) – You're doing your bit, surely but discreetly, and I have noticed and I bet others have too…so merci beaucoup.

lovely photo on that bike!!
October 8, 2009 at 12:16 am
I adore the shoes, which would be fine on their own with a simple black or nude dress, but paired with the dizzying blue and the rolled cuffs and cinched belt, provoke a most languishing mood.
October 8, 2009 at 12:24 am
Hi, I love these common italian girls, they are so stylish. I love the dress, it's very Emilio Pucci design, and the motocycle…it's a pitty it's not a Vespa. lol

But, really Sart. Does everyone in the world smoke, or is it only in your world?
Do you capture so many smokers because the outdoors is the only place left to them and you shoot outdoors?
Or is everyone who's into fashion a smoker — to keep thin?

I know its all all about Paris right now, but I have been going through your archives and have yet to find a photo taken in the Upper West Side. Are we really that unfashionable up here? Just wondering. And, I'll keep looking…love your blog.
October 8, 2009 at 2:23 am
This seems like one of the most impractical things to wear while biking…but looks completely perfect!
October 8, 2009 at 2:26 am

Brilliant photo – so elegant and cool

Is it really OK to combine a brown belt, red shoes and black bag together? I don't think so.
October 8, 2009 at 6:54 am
What a cute Asian girl… I am sure she is Thai and they are just so good with fashion and not afraid to try anything…
Yes, very elegant, and I love the way she looks with her sunglasses!whoaou!
October 8, 2009 at 8:01 am
I think the way she has rolled up her sleeves is marvelous.

Here I am again, with the shoes. I seem to be the only one that noticed that they're about a half-size too big. And it must hurt like hell on her heels. I like the bit of baguette that some bird or squirrel deposited on her bike!
October 8, 2009 at 8:06 am
Love the pattern mix dress and shoes…
October 8, 2009 at 8:13 am
It's great to wear dresses in the day, and this one is sooo divine.
October 8, 2009 at 8:33 am
Very Italian…..you see girls like this all the time in Italian cities…..they have a natural sense of style and collectively Italian women are amongst the best looking in the world….also her legs are great by which I mean sexy…….just right for the shoes.

October 8, 2009 at 8:45 am
I love that the shoes are a completely different pattern than the dress, but they just go.
October 8, 2009 at 8:46 am
Master's-level pattern mixing. Love it. Too bad about the ciggy, but still she even works that.

October 8, 2009 at 3:57 pm
Lovely, inspirational, and playful. Love this look.
October 8, 2009 at 4:23 pm
The dress is nice. It has a great pattern. Not sure about the accessories.
She seems to have perfected the scowl of disdain. But she shouldn't! The cigarettes alone will add years to her face; she doesn't need the wrinkles from the scowl on top of it. Smile girl! Not everyone has famous bloggers taking pictures of their clothes everyday.
October 9, 2009 at 1:05 am
LOVE this outfit like everyone else, but a little intrigued by her choice of shoes for riding a scooter. I ride one myself and am terrified even to wear heeled boots.
October 9, 2009 at 10:47 am
Does anyone know who makes this dress or where i could find it?
October 9, 2009 at 12:09 pm
This is incredible! so subtle and perfect. One of my favorites.
October 9, 2009 at 3:34 pm
oh yes she does!
October 10, 2009 at 8:34 am
What "scowl of disdain" idiot-Anonymous 1.05am? She is smiling. Not everyone can smile a big toothy grin, me included.

This is Leaf Greener, a Senior Fashion Editor at ELLE China, and she's wearing a menswear silk jacket, not a dress (!), from Beijing based designer Xander Zhou.
October 11, 2009 at 12:59 pm
