Lovin her jacket and one hand in her pocket look! Cute.
A great shot. Yasmin's style is effortlessly cool.
she's beautiful. Love the good-old-fashioned dungarees rather than trendy jeans… more style less trend!thanks

Love the colour of her leather jacket… the shoes really heat the outfit up.
October 9, 2009 at 12:10 pm

Her attitude and attire are so comfortable….sweet.
I adore her shoes, they look so good on her!

Subtle but complex. The Chanel tee is a nice touch.
October 9, 2009 at 12:32 pm

thats actually kinda sexy..
she looks fine..
October 9, 2009 at 1:34 pm
love everything about it!
Sorry but I fail to see the style of this boy-friend-jeans-look. Even slim models look clumsy in them. These jeans make the butt look broad and flat at the same time.
October 9, 2009 at 1:42 pm
that is a beautiful jacket, and i love her shoes!
October 9, 2009 at 1:47 pm
The color combination of her jacket, t-shirt, and jeans makes me swoon and it's so beautiful with her hair and skin. I can almost see the right guy wearing everything except the shoes and she still is totally feminine. She also didn't keep adding accessories until she spoiled it.
October 9, 2009 at 1:49 pm
This lady is way too cool. Someday, perhaps, I will be that awesomely cool.
October 9, 2009 at 1:50 pm
I agree-enough with this teenage boyfriend jean thing, it's stupid. I love her shoes, however.
LOVE every part except the jeans!!!
October 9, 2009 at 1:57 pm

October 9, 2009 at 2:09 pm

October 9, 2009 at 2:12 pm
She has a way about her that I LOVE!!! This is my kind of styling! From her gorgeous locks to the shoes on her feet…I want that tee shirt relly bad :>)

October 9, 2009 at 2:54 pm

Love this. She is just so cool and so effortless. I love her hair, her look, her attitude, the jeans. And those shoes are soo pretty.
Left her 'cause she had no style
October 9, 2009 at 5:51 pm
Beautiful girl, feeling the jacket, t-shirt tucked in, earings – boyfriend jeans, ruined it.
October 9, 2009 at 6:41 pm
It does not get any cuter than this! She gets it so right.
October 9, 2009 at 6:59 pm
more than the outfit, it's her hair! :)

Attractive mixture of shy, somewhat boyish posture (with a hand hiding in a pocket and ever so lightly tensed shoulders) combined with a confident face and strong other hand. Very powerful but also fiery. Fasten your seatbelt!

October 9, 2009 at 11:03 pm
love the top, don't like the bottom. the jeans with the heals and the cuff just don't work with the top. but love the jacket and shirt and hair!
October 9, 2009 at 11:30 pm
love her hair so much!!!!! and the cuffed jeans, although they're very katie holmes-ish.

One of the coolest-looking women you've ever photographed for the blog- what you said years ago still holds true, a great smile and good hair do what no accessory can :)
I would lose the jeans or the shoes – they clash with each other (I think this look needs some rounder toes…those points need a slimmer look). She is a lovely girl in a great picture and, as such, can get away with just about anything she wants.
October 10, 2009 at 1:20 am
what heels are those?love them <3
October 10, 2009 at 1:22 am
beautiful, love the combo between her shoes and pants. Very nice! Her jacket is fantastic too!

Thank you so much! What a refreshing change from the norm, and the shirt-collar-sleeve cut ankle shoe!
October 10, 2009 at 1:53 am
everything is great but just the jeans might be too baggy… but she looks great other than that

October 10, 2009 at 9:16 am
this is the perfect way to illustrate how to wear the 'boyfriend' jean, rolled up with a washed leather jacket, a grapic T and kick ass sexy pointy Mary Janes. Love! But where's her bag? of course I'd ask! :-)http://rafeloves.rafe.com
October 10, 2009 at 9:56 am
I like the jeans. look like 501xx from levis lvc collection. pretty classic cut look like they came right of john wayne.
October 10, 2009 at 11:05 am
i don't really love the clothes, but how this photo shows us that a beautiful/interesting person is still more important than everything on a look..
October 10, 2009 at 11:10 am
Cool jacket, beautifull girl. Wish she was callin' me
October 10, 2009 at 11:21 am
What a bore.
October 10, 2009 at 11:30 am
Linda, com estilo: great shoes and jacket!
October 10, 2009 at 11:51 am
Forget the clothes, this is a cute girl.
October 10, 2009 at 12:32 pm
Curls, pretty face and the whole look…modern whimsical.
October 10, 2009 at 12:33 pm
She's always perfect. Such beauty and style…
October 10, 2009 at 12:47 pm
I don't like the jeans. they look chunky and awkward, and I agree with above that they don't combine with the shoes. Together, they form what I can only describe as a hoof-like illusion.
beautiful girl though and a nice pose. waist-up at least.
October 10, 2009 at 1:05 pm
She looks really beautiful and really cool! Who is this woman?I love her hair, her face, her jacket, her earrings, I am not mad about the jeans, especially without a belt, and I guess the baggy jeans is not the best for the butt.. I don't like the shoes either. The whole outfit would look better with brown oxfords.. In my opinion. And a belt.
October 10, 2009 at 1:22 pm
she's beautiful, with every detail.
October 10, 2009 at 1:26 pm
i love the jeans too! boyfriend fits are so popular nowadays and she makes it look so effortless
October 10, 2009 at 1:46 pm
The shoes don't work for me, and while I like the boyfriend jean look generally, something about them here seems ill-fitting… She looks great otherwise! Beautiful hair.
October 10, 2009 at 2:25 pm
the earring(s)! so subtle yet totally complete the look.
October 10, 2009 at 2:53 pm
ah. she really is the coolest.
October 10, 2009 at 3:15 pm
I find the jeans really unflattering, where they cut her off on the leg is just not great in proportion to how low they sit and how wide they are. Then what look to be eveningwear shoes combined with such a laidback look just doesn’t have a great juxtaposition. If you take her from the waist up the outfit works, very sleek, but it's nothing too special. I sometimes feel London is not represented that well on this blog for what it is, quirky, unusual and most of all playful and fun! We are not sleek New York or immaculate Paris; we are traditional with a twist London. Just my feeling.
October 10, 2009 at 3:34 pm
my type of girl.
October 10, 2009 at 3:47 pm
Sartorialist, I just need to say this..
Stay this way, stay forever,

October 10, 2009 at 4:19 pm
so simple, soooo cool. and her hair is gorgeouuus
October 10, 2009 at 4:51 pm
Simply chic. I dig this silhouette big time. It's comfortable, but perfect.
October 10, 2009 at 5:17 pm
She is a natural beauty!
looks great until the jeans. i just don't understand this trend. wish she had black tights on.
October 10, 2009 at 5:58 pm
Love the casual jeans and t-shirt paired with the chic shoes and earrings. The jacket brings it all together. Love it. Love her.
October 10, 2009 at 6:14 pm
October 10, 2009 at 6:20 pm
im in love.
October 10, 2009 at 6:37 pm
her hair, her t,shirt, her shoes are neat, i love boyfriend jeans but these particular ones are not good on her and the cuffs are not folded in a good way, also i think the jeans need a belt, in fact all jeans need a belt..
October 10, 2009 at 6:46 pm
Is that Aubin and Wills peeking from behind the jacket? I urge you all to go look at their website. Epitomises English style. X
October 10, 2009 at 7:15 pm
i like the jacket and t shirt um but something about her shoes dont look right with this outfit but pretty good
October 10, 2009 at 7:23 pm
I love this as a weekend look. Those shoes and the jeans- such contrast but looks great,
October 10, 2009 at 8:13 pm

October 11, 2009 at 4:03 am
Wow she looks great! Sort of like a new age tomboy!
October 11, 2009 at 7:11 am
Fantastic mix of colours, very sexy…
October 11, 2009 at 7:12 am
Nice camera shot. I never imagined a leather jacket would go be worn with blue jeans and a formal pair of shoes.
October 11, 2009 at 8:05 am
A couple of comments:
1. like others, the shoes are amazing and i like them paired with these jeans. A real contrast. Anyone know what brand of shoes these are?
2. After a visit to my local cafe in Dalston, I've decided that it is Satorialist playground. There was a woman there with the best street outfit I've seen in a long long time.
Next time you are in London visit "Tina. We Salute You." on a weekend. It's a mixture of the hip Dalston kids and older East Londoners.
October 11, 2009 at 9:03 am
Love the photo! She looks great! The jacket is amazing!
October 11, 2009 at 11:13 am
I have no doubt she tames the looseness of those jeans (with which so many of you seem to have issue) with perfection, style and sensuality irregardless of the direction from which you approach her…My girlfriend is a jeans 'tamer' and she wears any and all magnificently!
October 11, 2009 at 11:49 am
Nothing special, only the youth.
I'm crazy for vintage costume jewelry lately, so the earrings are speaking my love language big time. I've got a pair of vintage shoulder-dusters from Kenneth Jay Lane coming in soon. Very similar. http://www.nickiefrye.etsy.com
October 11, 2009 at 1:12 pm
Yay! Silhouettes are changing. She looks great. I like this jacket, too. It looks like a motorcycle jacket but without all the silly hardware.
October 11, 2009 at 1:42 pm
My girl friend came up last week with a pair of these new boy-friend jeans which she had bought at Abercrombie. They were so ill fitting that I wished she had actually taken a pair of my jeans instead. On the picture here, I see the same phenomenon. The upper half of Yasmin is great though. Perhaps the thing about the boy-friend jeans is that people keep talking about you (as the numerous comments here indicate).

October 12, 2009 at 2:52 pm
the shoe, with its own square cut waist – tells us that the boyfriend denim was on purpose.
