Beautiful pattern on the dress! I like how the classic shape has had a more modern print juxtaposed on it. The addition of a classic bag and shoes just make sit even better! Inspiring, as always. Do you have any tips for people who are trying to get into street style photography themselves?
So chic. I love the restraint of the shoes – no over-the-top platform, strapped-up ridiculousness for her. Classics, proportion and taste always rule the day. Does she have a bit of Anne Bancroft or Catherine Keener about her?
I love the composition of this shot – her placement between the buildings, the monotone blocks and perpendicular lines contrasting with the pattern on her dress and the relaxed curves of her timelessly elegant stance.
Her posture would make about anything look chic. You can't not look at her. Her gaze, her smile: all other things fall away – however wonderful they are tough. She's got IT. A very gentle charisma.
I like the hesitation in her smile. Like is is flattered your taking her picture and annoyed. She is feminine looking and yet sophisticated. Great job!
That bag definitely appears to be Hermes, let me know anyone if you agree or disagree, I like it nonetheless. Love the total ensemble, seems to just be something she threw on–effortlessly classic. I love it when it people make it look so easy like they don't try at all.
Such timeless elegance! Sometimes i look at a shot like this and have to stop to wonder what is it that makes the person so attractive. It's not just the outfits. It has become a part of them.
I agree with Monika, that dress looks unique and classy.
i am currently looking for a shoe that is little over the top because my event i am attending next month is little over the top. i did lot of googling past couple of days and found some botiques with expensive shoe collections the one i am very interested is a very little known brand Monkees and i I fell in love with this shoe Frye DEBORAH STUDDED, i looked around on Google and find one in stock at http://www.buymonkees.com website but the price is $640.00 is this reasonable?
I think the photo is lovely (location, lighting etc ), but the outfit is just so blah…the dress is very average, a bit of a bargain basement print if you ask me….and the shoes? so boring.
Simple dress that looks comfortable without being slouchy. Natural hair, natural makeup. No bling whatsoever, but she would make heads turn anywhere. The perfect posture is the best accessory of all.
Sart, please give us some cold-weather pics. I love to experiment based on inspiration from here, but this shot just won't do it, even in the south of France, where I am wearing two sweaters and sitting by a space heater.
I am secretly so very tired of all these photos fashionistas with 6 inch heels during the day, in the street. Power to them if they can do it all day, every day, but it´s become both obvious and a bit ridiculous. Well, their choice. But these heels I find really charming, the shape is much more interesting than height!
I totally adore your blog and recommend it to friends whenever possible. Today I linked to your blog at mine as you are one of my favorite blogs. http://chocolatesushi.blogg.no

the bag…the shoes…the simple bracelet in her pulse, the hair, just natural, nothing is fake or unatural about her

Go into any Hermes store, there are at least 30Birkins in the back room. Have you read the recent financial postings of Hermes? Scarves down 35%. Fragrance down 27%. Watches down 30%. Handbags UP 23%. Why do you think that is? Because Hermes suddenly made the Birkin available to any and all. Duh!
