October 29, 2009 at 5:22 pm
Skin-coloured shoes are genius. (gold works well, too – wore them all summer…) But I'm still looking for the perfect pair – and here they are; they even look comfortable!
October 29, 2009 at 5:23 pm

Love the nude shoes… great contrast to this sharp dress!

October 29, 2009 at 5:33 pm
Sweet with unexpected edges of edgy. I love the purse – any idea who makes it?
October 29, 2009 at 5:36 pm
I love how elegant and refined Milaneze women can be…I saw it through your blog before and now I'm enjoying it in real life :)
October 29, 2009 at 5:39 pm
Buongiorno. Mi piace. A lot. Feminine, elegant, sensible shoes, cutest bow, smile that could sink a ship, reminiscent of the original Agent 99 from Get Smart… could an Italian man possibly ask for more? I think not, ladies and germs… I think not. I don't think I could. Ciao bella.
October 29, 2009 at 5:41 pm
her smile and adorable tan shoes bring so much color to a simple and dark outfit!

I love this outfit and this photo! So classy and cute at the same time.
The nude shoes totally do it for me.
October 29, 2009 at 6:03 pm
What a classic, beautiful girl. You really do great work Scott, as you say, you capture style and not necessarily fashion, which can be very frivolous and elitist.
She looks so naive. how cute
October 29, 2009 at 6:04 pm
very classy..on top of it all..love her smile
October 29, 2009 at 6:07 pm
I think the dress is blue no? I like it very much with the nude shoes, which by the way look comfortable as well as stylish. She is a lovely creature.

October 29, 2009 at 6:40 pm
She is adorable!!!! I love her dress!!!!
October 29, 2009 at 6:42 pm
Blah on everything except the nude shoes.
Especially the bag, looks like something Dr. Quinn Medicine women would carry.
P.s. I'm judging her outfit based on my own personal style, however, I'm not making any judgement calls about this woman as a person. The fact that this outfit is blah does not detract from her as a person.
October 29, 2009 at 6:46 pm
Love the nude shoes! Personally,I would never try it but she makes it work. Classic dress
October 29, 2009 at 6:48 pm
Sad eyed lady of the lowlands

October 29, 2009 at 6:57 pm
so wearable….. a lot of these pictures can only be carried off by the subject, but this one is almost universal! GREAT
October 29, 2009 at 7:01 pm
she is arresting. a really quiet appeal that i definitely appreciate. furthermore, this photo made me think of all those times that we saw photos of women wearing outfits in a neutral color but with shoes in a loud color. for some reason, this one just seems perfect.
October 29, 2009 at 7:07 pm
I loveee this look, it's Paris meets Milan! So cute!

There was a time where most women looked this classy. Why can't people look this good more often? It's such a nice simple look that commands respect.

ROCK AND FIOCC
October 29, 2009 at 8:34 pm
Hi! That's me, the girl of the pic! My shoes are Lanvin,my bag is Vivienne Westwood, and the dress is vintage :)
October 29, 2009 at 8:36 pm
I think the white bow and nude shows add a splash of originality to this otherwise all black outfit. Absolutely love it; classic, beautiful and chic.
October 29, 2009 at 8:59 pm
I love everything about it: her clothes, smile, hair. Looks like a picture from an editorial.
October 29, 2009 at 9:05 pm
Very springy. Very … demure. What's with the mixing of the season's? I, unlike the first commenter, think nude shoes and a nude leg are fine with so many things – so very neutral. White would have been very un-seasonal. Navy – well, try and find a good navy pair of heels. It's not a very popular fashion color nowadays. OOOPPs, that's a black dress? It looks navy. The bag looks black though. I think a person definitely needs tan legs for this AND bangs!
October 29, 2009 at 9:34 pm
i love the bow tie on the skirt. looks really cute
Simple but sophisticated. <3
October 29, 2009 at 9:39 pm
That bag is to die for.
October 29, 2009 at 9:54 pm
Forget the outfit.
She. Is. Gorgeous.
October 29, 2009 at 10:04 pm
I love this look. The shoe color is unexpected, but looks great…I also love the perforated detail on the handbag.
October 29, 2009 at 10:19 pm
That bow has seen better days, but the smile saves it.
October 29, 2009 at 10:23 pm
Her dress is kinda cute and demure. But love her shoes!
October 29, 2009 at 10:24 pm
very chic….audrey hepburn's bastard child!
October 29, 2009 at 10:31 pm

October 29, 2009 at 10:53 pm

October 29, 2009 at 11:03 pm
The bag Vivienne Westwood !
October 29, 2009 at 11:28 pm

October 30, 2009 at 1:37 am
what a beautiful girl ! She's dressed impeccably and the nude shoes elongate her lovely legs ! wow !
October 30, 2009 at 1:40 am
classic look but with details like bag, shoes and ribbon which give the way of good sobriety.
October 30, 2009 at 2:02 am
I like the entire look. It is fresh and friendly. This look will work for both casual or work. And it is BLUE! I am so ready for a blue comeback! (makes my eyes stand out!)
October 30, 2009 at 2:26 am
her dress is so cute, love the little bowtie! :)
October 30, 2009 at 2:49 am
Beautiful girl. All the pieces are great, but I don't like them together. The white is too much of a contrast. And the frayed edges, are a no-no.
October 30, 2009 at 3:12 am
really love this black dress with white bow..superchic!
October 30, 2009 at 4:22 am

Lovely girl who wear classics with a subtle twist. I'm in LOVE. What is this beauty's name? Can I have her phone number?
October 30, 2009 at 6:43 am
As popular as those "bootie" style of shoe is right now I'm actually sick of seeing them everywhere right now. I love this shoe, its feminine but looks comfortable. The nude shoe is perfect.
This entire look is exactly what I love, classic but feminine. Her smile is like a cherry on top. Love it all.

love the bag and adore the shoes. The dress is beautiful, though not something I could pull off. She's the whole package.
October 30, 2009 at 9:42 am
Great. simply great!!
October 30, 2009 at 9:45 am
I really like this, it’s cute in a classy way. Wondering where she bought the dress. The shoes look like Lanvin shoes I’ve tried on fairly recently but unfortunately the straps above the heels didn’t feel comfortable, so I didn’t buy them but they do look great and would go with many different outfits.

October 30, 2009 at 9:49 am
Bella donna!Another great "not trying too hard" look. After all the dying-for-attention shoes, too-large handbags and micro-sized dresses/skirts, it's nice to see a woman looking fresh and pretty.
October 30, 2009 at 10:05 am
wooh very subtle. Love the shoes. The understated bag and bright white bow give it a sophisticated but classic touch.
October 30, 2009 at 10:06 am
She oozes class, youth and an aura of elegance. love her.
October 30, 2009 at 11:11 am

October 30, 2009 at 11:37 am
I don't think the hairstyle works with this dress–too schoolgirl for my taste–but from the neck down, I love this look.
October 30, 2009 at 11:51 am
October 30, 2009 at 12:14 pm
She looks like a total sweetheart! I love this pic!
October 30, 2009 at 2:46 pm
I love the contrast between the Left Bank, Paris photo (beautiful woman in red) and this Milanese woman. I've always found that the most chic Italian women go lighter on the makeup and accessories yet look equally as stunning as their French counterparts.
October 30, 2009 at 2:59 pm
This outfit is so subtle. LOVE IT. Plus those nude shoes are fabbbbulous.
October 30, 2009 at 3:31 pm
i LOVE this look. I could wear that dress sooo much :]
October 30, 2009 at 3:33 pm

October 31, 2009 at 12:16 am
what a wonderful look–sweet, but not overly. very tasteful.
October 31, 2009 at 1:10 am
She's lovely – reminds me a lot of Kate Middleton. The dress – is it a dress or 2 a piece – fantastic and so versatile. The sandals are perfect!
October 31, 2009 at 4:33 am
Hiiiiiiiii Wouldn't have expected nude coloured shoes with the black and white outfit…love it!.love the little white bow. Adorable!…

The nude shoe idea does definitely work, here and in other shots on this blog.

November 1, 2009 at 1:56 am
and thought , the new age 80s are coming back strong, there still a a big room for the 60's romanticism (speaking of Paris' 60s only, think Françoise Hardy & Un homme et une femme)

The Lovely Bastard
November 1, 2009 at 3:58 pm
good…its something that really suits her.
November 1, 2009 at 11:13 pm
I like the dress and the shoes are really sexy, but the white bow doesn't really do it for me-too stark and plain. I think a color might have been better.
November 2, 2009 at 3:21 am
its a very simple dress but she can carry it off SO WELL.
November 2, 2009 at 3:33 am
I'm going to be Italian in my next life. Darling outfit and love the nude shoes with navy. Perfection.

I think I know her…She went to my high school but I remember her especially because she used to play the piano with the same teacher I have for many years. Cute pic, I love the shoes and the bag and…well, I love it all!S.

Feminine, friendly, and not at all easy to execute well.
Bravo young lady.
November 6, 2009 at 1:38 pm
Very cute and natural but expressive
November 6, 2009 at 6:09 pm
The choice of the nude shoes with the navy dress with white bow was great. The shoes do not overpower the classic simplicity of the dress.
November 6, 2009 at 8:11 pm
I love this dress!!!! Its very sophisticated and fashion on every level.I love how everything is flowing together from her dress, to the bag, and the shoes.www.glamchica.com
