What a sensational look-every piece a winner, wrapped up in the elan of the Kashmiri shawl.

A huge comfort cloth…what’s next…the fluffy bed comforter?
January 11, 2019 at 1:50 pm
A great look, down to the man-bag.
January 15, 2019 at 3:04 am
Ok with that.
January 11, 2019 at 1:51 pm
Haven’t you seen the down-filled scarves and pant on many runways?
January 25, 2019 at 3:51 pm
LOL! Pillows on either side. Still he does look dapper.

This year’s fashion will be the style of clothing!

Love, love, love this look. Neutral palette. Effortless, yet dramatic. I shall definitely try to recreate the placement of the scarf.
January 10, 2019 at 9:36 am
This look is so sensual… I love the coat and the scarf is amazing! :-)
January 10, 2019 at 10:18 am
The hat, beard and coat look fantastic (and the ring!), but that scarf is so big it looks more like a blanket. It’s a little too much material for me.
January 11, 2019 at 6:52 am
These scarfs are multi purpose. Original made for use in the dessert where it gets cold in the night. They are made of wool.
I bought 2 myself, indeed too big for comfortable daily wear but they look great on my sofa ;-) . And in spring or autumn I do wear them as a wrap when its a little chilly.

This guy deserves the Jenny Walton Award for Sartorial Perfection.
January 10, 2019 at 4:07 pm
The year has just started…let’s wait until December 2019 and then announce the winners of the JWA for SP…till then he will remain a nominee!
January 11, 2019 at 6:31 am
Ok, so here’s a thought. While we gradually scrutinize the contenders for 2019, shouldn’t we also proclaim the winner of the JWA for SP for 2018? Should we procure a mini voting?
January 11, 2019 at 10:19 pm
I was thinking of the Jenny Walton Awards for Sartorial Perfection as something for outstanding style whenever it appears. Maybe we could do the year-end Jenny Walton All-Star Award for Sartorial Perfection: one for men, one for woman, one for Best of Show chosen from the award winners throughout the year. Whoever wants to vote can vote. Who will keep the tally?
January 11, 2019 at 10:21 pm
And yes…we ought to vote on All Stars for 2018.
January 16, 2019 at 4:31 am
So, I did the exercise to review the 2018 posts, I have some ideas, but I came to realise that technically the procedure to proclaim the 2018 All Stars will be rather difficult. A thought would be each one of us to post here the link to one photo with their 2018 favorite outfit in the form of a comment. I know it is hard to pick one but if each of us picks more it will be ever harder to arrive to a shortlist later.
As for 2019, I propose to do what you did here, to post ad hoc a relevant comment to the photos dear Sart will upload and then next year, if all is well, we can make a retrospective.
I hope we will not be discouraged by the mechanics of it all!
January 17, 2019 at 4:05 am
So, after a lot of thought, this is the winner for me (and for the sake of clarity I painfully excluded all Jenny’s photos):
Sartorial perfection aside, I also find this a great photo.

This is amazing

I loved what you shared, especially this picture is really sensational, I will combine it with what I am doing http://bit.ly/2Fkf0px to improve my results.

any many stories on on the back of this picture. great.

Reminded me of ms. Cianciolo
January 11, 2019 at 12:42 pm
I like this look although the use of a blanket for a scarf is a bit too overwhelming. Used as a shawl would be better suited.
January 13, 2019 at 2:25 am
Perfect way to style. Truly amazing. Check out https://www.fashionsuggest.in/mens-ethnic-wear-guide/

Oh these ignorant Eurocentric fashion critics going on about a blanket or too much fabric – It’s a Kashmiri men’s shawl draped exactly right. Won’t resist cashmere in your socks but can’t bear or even identify a perfectly acceptable piece of winter attire?Philistines.
January 14, 2019 at 11:09 am
We ignorant fashion critics only wear 100% vicuna wool…get a life!
January 13, 2019 at 4:59 pm
He looks both warm and fashionable. Hard todo. Most of us in puffer coats give up in the winter months.
January 19, 2019 at 12:49 pm
I really love this look. From the scarf up, he reminds me of Richie Havens.
January 20, 2019 at 6:21 pm
That scarf is incredible!
January 21, 2019 at 1:10 pm
Fantastic, but would be improved if he was holding a nice robusto instead of a little cigarette
January 22, 2019 at 3:32 am
What???. The girl with the long hair in the wheel chair? She is disabled, but I see no reason to cast her in the role of “reality struggling with life”. Its just a woman crossing the street.
February 16, 2019 at 11:59 am
in this picture he look like very attractive and his dress design very nice season is cold no one with this man its very strong man without any wheel chair without any help he walk and look very nice
