Perfectly executed suit…look at the symmetry of the lines in the jacket and how the connect…a sheer pleasure to look at!

The longer I look at this the more I like it. Weird. It is disproportionate and loud and quite certain about itself.

This is looking really classy and very attractive.

I get it, it’s an interesting contrast to the ultra slim and short silhouettes of recent years. But those of us who have lived through the 90s already got their dose of boxy, ill-fitting, oversized suits. Please… leave them in the past.

Imperfectly perfect! Love the look! Love the colors!

weird that his suit doesn’t fit…

The model is Antonio Picardi. There’s something of David Byrne about him. Especially in that suit.

Darn! Thanks, Hugh. I couldn’t for the life of me put a name to the actor. David Byrne immediately came to mind. Dead Ringer.

I think he needs slightly longer legs to fit the proportions of the jacket. Something is wrong. It could even be the lack of depth in his chest and shoulders that are too narrow for such a full jacket.

I hate to say it–well, maybe not–but this is the ugliest suit I’ve ever seen.

Proportions are off. Or maybe I’ve got vertigo staring at the oversized plaid.
November 25, 2018 at 6:41 am
I love the check fabric, it is unusual: the stripes are really defined and thick and they give this textile a more contemporary look. I don’t think the shape of the jacket suits him or at least It doesn’t in this photograph.

The suit looks clownish because of its oversize appearance; sleeves and jacket are too long, top button is too high, collar too big, hip pockets are too close to front edge, cross chest too narrow. Just looks stuffy; who’s going to wear this, who’s supposed to be inspired by this?

Oh, this suit is awesome!!

It does fit! In a sweet unassuming and yet grand way. Love it

That is impressive cutting and tailoring! The pattern not only lines up on the jacket pockets, lapels, and the body, but also on the pants!

It does fit! The shoulder line, sleeve length, leg length are all fine. The extra room around the chest and waist look comfortable, and allow for some layering under – an elegant, relaxed feel.
