I always find the presence of a cig takes away from the photo. Not a fan, either. Glad to see I’m not the only one who thinks so.
Really enjoy your work!

That’s a dude on the left

It only shows that those two very classy ladies are just human beings with habits. With a glass of wine in their hands nobody would have said anything
Religions have killed more people than smoking

I don’t know why…but all of a sudden when I saw the lady on the right in her pose…Dovima one of the greatest models ever, jumped into my mind… Dovima with Elephants…one of Avedon’s greatest photographs!

Leo pants and red-white skirt: thumbs up!
Smoking: a no-go for me.

Lauren Bacall smoking is glamorous. This however, doesn’t look glamorous at all.

The pink peplum jacket is gorgeous – shame about the smoking, but they’re adults and will make their own choices.

Looks to me like a chance encounter between friends who are fashionistas, whether amongst
the cafe crowd or just sliding out to grab a sandwich from the deli. Either way, thanks for brightening the surroundings. Much appreciated, lovelies.

I enjoy both looks: the mix of prints and the combination of classic and modern fashion.

I could stand to waft way the smoke to chat to them.
They look so chic, yet un styled. The flip flops ton it down just right.
Must visit Copenhagen. On my to do list.

The girl on the right looks so elegant, even like a princess. But my favoriteis definitely the mix of prints the girl on the left is wearing!

What’s with the flip flops all over Copenhagen?
The texture of the clothes of the lady in the right look amazing though.
Smoking now… Smoking gives you bad health (as other nasty habits do, like my beloved sugar), this is scientifically proven, so let’s get over it and talk about style instead. Dear Sartorialist, you do not have to explain yourself.

But yet so many of your photos show smokers…

I love the pink outfit. She looks gorgeous, but I am not a fan of the flip flop outfit. I don’t get the juxtaposition of the patterns.

I’m not a smoker but then I never was cool. I know this is meant to be super-woke 2018 but in my book it still has a bit of Hollywood silver screen glamour to it, particularly in the hands of chic European women.

Candies better than cigarettes!

See the same skirt in the post on Thursday, September 6, 2018 “On the Street…In the Crowd, Copenhagen”.
Italian style is fabulous but the Danish have such élan vital.

If you don’t want to glamorize smoking you shouldnt take pictures of it. Taking pictures of people smoking and then convicting them on your blog is a really weird an not sympathetic way of moralizing. And so American!
God, we are all grown up humans and if people decide to take the risks of smoking as it can be a pleasure, just let them.
January 31, 2019 at 10:59 am
Jesus when did non smokers get so bloody judgemental about smoking ? Everyone has their vice, quit acting like self-righteous pricks.
