Good god! What an incredibly stunning woman!!
November 4, 2009 at 1:45 pm
great picture. she seems so glamorous without trying
November 4, 2009 at 1:57 pm
Lamb sweater and red lips!cute!
Composition is beautiful. Her lips match the red coat in the background. She looks so chic!
November 4, 2009 at 2:02 pm
Nice. The season's seen a lot of layers, large proportions on small frames and mixing of masculine/femme – it's nice to see something that fits and is clearly femme without it being thigh exposing dress or skirt.
November 4, 2009 at 2:04 pm
Love it! I have the same haircut – she looks so chic without looking like she's trying terribly hard. Love the pearls with that whimsical sweater. And red lipstick – perfection.
November 4, 2009 at 2:05 pm
How sweet! It reminds me of the mid 80's Family-Ties era look. I think I wore every version of this sweater in fifth grade.
The Glamorous Housewife
November 4, 2009 at 2:07 pm
What a beautiful girl! And I love the simplicity of her outfit. And then the pop of color with the purse! Genius.
Thanks doll,The Glamorous Housewife

Ha. I know this girl. Met her in April. Small world.
Onto the relevant part of this comment… I LOVE the sweater, and the purse is just gorgeous.
November 4, 2009 at 2:09 pm
where and when do you take all these photos…
the sweater is amazing.. she looks like she's travelled through time (in a good way) i love the hair and everything that is 50's about this photo
November 4, 2009 at 2:10 pm
Très belle photo, très belles couleurs. Très envie d'aller à NY…
Funky style, not necessarily my favourite, but she looks rockin'!
I love the colors in this photo.
wooooow i love the hole look,THE GIRL WITH THE PEARL.
WEAR TO DARE !!!
November 4, 2009 at 2:11 pm
I bet she can dance real good
November 4, 2009 at 2:13 pm

Posh, comfortable but fun. And she just owns it, look at her!
November 4, 2009 at 2:15 pm
November 4, 2009 at 2:20 pm
A perfect and simple look…
Love her look – practical and stylish! This kind of photo often inspires me more than the overtly fashion-y looks, because it's so accessible and, again, practical for a student. I love the gray and yellow!
November 4, 2009 at 2:23 pm
i love this photo too! The sweater is gorgeous!
November 4, 2009 at 2:26 pm
yes, also. ¿and?
Healthy looking lady. A sculptress?
November 4, 2009 at 2:27 pm
Stunning face! I like the red lips, this girl has attitude!
November 4, 2009 at 2:30 pm
Standing out in the crowd!
November 4, 2009 at 2:33 pm
I like this jumper with sheeps (quite funny. Nice picture :)
November 4, 2009 at 2:34 pm
The vibrant saturated red lipstick echoes nicely against the red hue in the background. What makes this photo so nice is the dramatic red lipstick and the cavalier expression this woman wears embodying a very retro aura which is reiterated with the pearls and girlish wool sweater.
November 4, 2009 at 2:36 pm
I thought that was Regina Spektor at first.
Love the casual elegance.
Love the sheep on her pullover!
November 4, 2009 at 2:38 pm
She is a classic beauty. Love the combination of blue jeans, pearls, the sweater and her purse, and especially the bright red lipstick.
May 20, 2013 at 10:06 pm
That’s what I was thinking! :) Just beautiful!
November 4, 2009 at 2:41 pm
Totally Audrey Tautou! ^.^
Kiss from Portugal ;)
November 4, 2009 at 2:43 pm
LOVE the red lipstick!! and then I notice the other feminine, bombshell-esque details – hair, pearls, pretty purse. but I like all this with the jeans. I think she's very successful with a modern look with vintage references. This is such a contrast to design student #1 whose look was nice, but not imaginative.
November 4, 2009 at 2:44 pm
I definly like the make-up and her hir style, but not that much the chlothes…must say.http://www.faruhca.blogspot.com
November 4, 2009 at 2:49 pm
November 4, 2009 at 2:50 pm
I love her outfit, but beyond that, you can tell that this girl looks good in anything.xo
November 4, 2009 at 2:53 pm
PERFETTO, veramente veramente bellissimo!!!:)I think I do not have to translate this:D
November 4, 2009 at 2:56 pm
I love the glamour of the makeup and the long strand of pearls combined with the whimsy of the sweater–this is wonderful! Such a great look. So nice to see people have fun with fashion.
November 4, 2009 at 3:00 pm
Scott, I don't know if it's the light or the girl's face or the setting on your camera (it looks like film film) or what, but this photo is a real leap forward for you. Or, at least, a leap in a different direction.
It reminds me of Cindy Sherman.
November 4, 2009 at 3:07 pm
I love it the look
November 4, 2009 at 3:22 pm
Elegant and fun. Well done.
November 4, 2009 at 3:27 pm
She's a modern Lady Diana in her black sheep sweater and pearls!
November 4, 2009 at 3:30 pm
Every element is spot on! Again, I want to see the shoes!
November 4, 2009 at 3:33 pm
That purse is the final punctuation of that outfit. Nice shot.
November 4, 2009 at 3:41 pm
Normally, I don't like sweaters with animals or santas or elves or whatever on them, but here, I am loving the look. Maybe it's the red lipstick, hairstyle and necklace. Or maybe it's your photgraph and the way you captured the light on her face. Not sure. But I in all cases, I do like this photo quite a bit.
November 4, 2009 at 3:48 pm
Oh Lumière! :o)
November 4, 2009 at 3:50 pm
November 4, 2009 at 3:52 pm
Very timeless, both as a look and as a photo.
A question: what is that little peep of red at the junction of her neck and her left shoulder?
November 4, 2009 at 3:56 pm
Her sweater's too cute, and I love the the pops of colour (bag, lipstick) to brighten the outfit up. Gorgeous photo!xx
November 4, 2009 at 3:59 pm
I love the sweater with the sheep on it! so cute.
November 4, 2009 at 4:04 pm
Love this shot. She looks like Naima Mora too!
Hà Hải Anh Graphic Designer
November 4, 2009 at 4:06 pm
gotta love the black sheep sweater!
November 4, 2009 at 4:16 pm
She is incredible!!! I especially love the bag, that color is quite perfect. And the lipstick looks amazing. Chanel, perchance?
November 4, 2009 at 4:18 pm
LOVE her lips
Yep an over all great look! You can't say anything bad about the subject, weather, or capture.
November 4, 2009 at 4:26 pm
A young heroine.
She's great, but you are an even greater photographer. I can't imagine who else could get this kind of cooperation for his lens.
November 4, 2009 at 4:27 pm
Is that Naima? Great shot.
November 4, 2009 at 4:32 pm
The lipstick and pearls really seal the deal.
November 4, 2009 at 4:37 pm
I don't like the sweater.
November 4, 2009 at 4:42 pm
she looks an awful like a girl who won top model back in the day (i can't remember her name)– the one with the punk haircut.
Could she be any more casual cool?what gorgeous lips, and the sheep, the pearls, the lime bag… love it… just love it!
November 4, 2009 at 4:54 pm
Love her jumper
November 4, 2009 at 4:55 pm
Am I wrong to say that she looks French? Look how high she carries her head. And her slight nonchalant but yet proud posture is so sexy!
November 4, 2009 at 5:14 pm
i went to a summer program with her! she looks great here! love the lips
November 4, 2009 at 5:34 pm
she is so poised
You're a beautiful girl. Incredibly photogenic. I love American style.

November 4, 2009 at 6:04 pm
November 4, 2009 at 6:36 pm
what a graceful hand – must be a dancer
November 4, 2009 at 7:08 pm
Are you going to sell your books when you come to Madrid? I can't find them in any store!!
If I am not mistaken, this is the twin sister, Nia, of Naima Mora, winner of ANTM cycle 4, no? I believe she is a photographer.
November 4, 2009 at 7:33 pm
I seriously want that sweater! Love it combined with the pearls.
November 4, 2009 at 7:38 pm
in love! : +sweater, lips, hair, pearls. <3 adorable.
November 4, 2009 at 7:53 pm
Ahh, I know her!
November 4, 2009 at 8:02 pm
WOW! Love that lips.Chick elegance.
November 4, 2009 at 8:19 pm
SHE LOOKS LIKE IT :0
John M. Doyle
November 4, 2009 at 8:42 pm
Cindy Sherman would be proud of this shot. Very much in the mode of classic American cinema, even while this young lady is quite modern. Thank you, again, for the interesting juxtaposition of images and meanings that are the hallmarks of your photographic style.
November 4, 2009 at 8:56 pm
LOVE this pic, Sart. hands-down fave of the last few weeks.
such a uniquely beautiful lady. colour sense is phenomenal. and those lips…
November 4, 2009 at 9:02 pm
This is more like it. My heart almost skipped a beat! She looks so modern-retro, so put-together. (The first design student looked like she'd had a bad week. >_>; ) Love it all, the dark, well-fitted jeans, the playful sweater, beads, make-up, purse… Only negative comment is that we don't get to see her shoes!! :D
November 4, 2009 at 9:05 pm
I'm struggling to see where you are coming from with this one. I love her attitude but I am not appreciating the outfit.
November 4, 2009 at 9:06 pm
November 4, 2009 at 9:07 pm
very pretty girl, very simple outfit but sooo cute!
November 4, 2009 at 9:35 pm
lovely girl, but a very tacky presentation.
November 4, 2009 at 9:45 pm
What a face! Gorgeous.
November 4, 2009 at 9:58 pm
i love the sweater! i want to find one just like it…
November 4, 2009 at 10:04 pm
Beautiful woman in a great photograph. Couldn't you see her singing in a smoky bar, oh about seventy years ago? Do you think she considers herself the black sheep?
November 4, 2009 at 10:19 pm
The sweater is wonderful~!
November 4, 2009 at 10:24 pm
very rarely does a photo of a person evoke a song with me. however i feel like she is just about to break into.."at last my love has come along…." beautiful
November 4, 2009 at 10:47 pm
this is my friend caroline! she is a fashion major!
November 4, 2009 at 11:10 pm

November 5, 2009 at 2:24 am
Another stunning photo, Scott!
November 5, 2009 at 2:37 am
Ah! I love the 3 little sheep!
November 5, 2009 at 2:43 am
November 5, 2009 at 3:15 am
this isn't so much about the girl or the clothes, but how you capture the light falling on them. very clean. this is a case where the photography creates glamour out of the mundane. bravo!
November 5, 2009 at 4:00 am
great…light hearted and pretty. Exactly how you'd want your best friend to look when you're meeting up for coffee and you need cheering up….
November 5, 2009 at 4:26 am
i love the contrast between the dramatic expression of face and the abandon in the hand.
November 5, 2009 at 5:20 am
everything is wonderful but the belt.and she is gorgeous.
November 5, 2009 at 5:26 am
She looks like the female version of Chuck from GG :P
November 5, 2009 at 5:37 am
Take a closer look behind her hand, and you'll see the head of a 3rd white sheep, which means this sweater is telling me a story- a reference to being a black sheep! Makes me love it even more!
November 5, 2009 at 7:03 am
until you scroll down to the jeans you'd think this photo was taken in a different age! the sweater, the pearls, the classic beauty… simply wonderful!
November 5, 2009 at 7:17 am
Amazing photography! Clever use of light put so much hope and doubt on the young student's face! Great story!
November 5, 2009 at 7:24 am
not about clothing, this one.
she's got swagger.
yr photo's got swagger.

November 5, 2009 at 10:38 am
she's all Audrey and all, love her style! the sweater looks familiar though, does anyone know where it's from?thanks,Hilla Ohayon
November 5, 2009 at 10:54 am
She is amazing.
The sweater looks like a vintage one from the children's rack. Those pearls and the strong makeup balance the simplicity of the clothes.
This woman has a supreme eye for styling. One of my very favorite shots I've seen here.
November 5, 2009 at 11:15 am
A+ on lighting!perfect.
November 5, 2009 at 11:21 am
I wonder where she goes to school in New York.
November 5, 2009 at 1:13 pm
I love her facial expression and the makeup/hair combination, very retro-glam
November 5, 2009 at 1:42 pm
todo en esta mujer son las perlas…all in this girl is about pearls, everything is there, in that touch.
November 5, 2009 at 1:53 pm
the color pops in this photo are just bouncy! i appreciate that her sweater is cropped but not too small in the shoulders. and her haircut is special
November 5, 2009 at 2:21 pm
what a gorgeous photo….it completely capture new york, too
November 5, 2009 at 2:29 pm
Like a character from August Sander. To be filed under "Menschen Typen – Design Student".

I think she goes to Parsons..
November 6, 2009 at 3:27 am
Her pearls and makeup are a classic combination , fabulous when worn so casually. Well done !
November 6, 2009 at 5:48 am
nice, very mid 50s (except the low waist jeans). your shot too with the low angle makes her look more statuesque … is she very tall or are you crouching a bit ?
November 6, 2009 at 6:03 am
With such face, presence and hairdo, who cares what she's wearing.
November 6, 2009 at 1:14 pm
Stunning photograph – the perspective, the composition, the colors, the subject.
November 6, 2009 at 2:40 pm
she looks like chuck bass` sister!!
November 6, 2009 at 2:51 pm
looks like a hispanic beauty…her face and the pride in her walk let her look like a lady. lovely!
November 6, 2009 at 4:25 pm
argh! i need this sweater!
November 6, 2009 at 5:56 pm
this is a fine example of the woman wearing the clothing not the clothing wearing the woman:) she is stunning
November 7, 2009 at 12:22 pm
ADORE how she mixes the eras ending up with a totally unique and glamorous look.
November 7, 2009 at 2:07 pm

November 7, 2009 at 2:55 pm
She's so pretty. There's a classy and elegant vibe about her.
November 7, 2009 at 3:34 pm
warm and sexy!
November 8, 2009 at 12:09 am
It cracks me up that someone can wear a jumper with sheep on it, and have a yellow bag, and still appear stylish. Just goes to show!
November 8, 2009 at 12:55 pm
smuldering looks kinda like josephine baker.
red lips, pearls and good bag to glam up a plain outfit
November 9, 2009 at 10:48 am
Gorgeous young lady. Killer red lipstick. I would guess she's of Iranian descent. The clothes are unimportant in this clothes.
November 12, 2009 at 3:21 pm
Love this photo :)
November 20, 2009 at 4:44 am
Beautiful. This isn't to do with high end designer labels…this is true style. Being elegant and timeless in jeans and a sweater. This girl has got IT!
December 6, 2009 at 1:49 pm
she's half filipino and gorgeous :)
December 8, 2009 at 3:55 pm
Quirky and classic fashion notes juxtaposed alongside a hair and beauty look that is pure Hollywood glamour. She does/will stand out in a crowd. Great style of fun and perfect grooming. One of my fave recent pics!
December 30, 2009 at 7:57 pm
such a pretty face, hair and make up…wish i had patience to do that hair and make up…
January 2, 2010 at 6:59 am
Genial! very personal style and beauty. One of the best shoots
January 2, 2010 at 10:34 pm
Love to Black sheep on the sweater. She definitely pulls this off well, looking stylish rather than too childlike.
February 9, 2017 at 3:12 am
What a beautiful girl! And I love the simplicity of her outfit very personal style and beauty. One of the best shoots
