Don’t want to hate on the guy, but when will fashion stop being so unattractive..
When will we go back to more masculinity for men and femininity for women.
All these weird trends, even in big fashion houses, moving towards androgyny, gender confusion, ugly big ass dad shoes, ugly big ass sweaters with super long ass sleeves, under the influence of Vetements, Balenciaga, Rick Owens, whatever, etc. As some form of misguided trend towards embracing our “feminine” side as men, and our “masculine” side as women, cause Jung said it, nah man it’s BS. This shit gets tired, and no one wants to fuck with you. Well except when you’re female, young, and/or still pretty. But that’s just because guys are thirsty lol.
Been following this place for years (dunno prolly around ’06/’07/’08), checking in every now and then, some times daily, some times not at all for weeks. This place fell off. It used to be exciting. Every now and then there’s still some beauty being captured. But the times and people have changed. Also this “testing” of pictures on Instagram first, is lame.
Never really been a hater in my life, but we need to return to beauty again.

To each their own, of course – especially (!) in style. But I completely disagree about the “trends” (I don’t want to consider them just trends) you mentioned. Being obligated to dress like this or like that just because your physical body is made a certain way is incredibly ludicrous. “masculinity for men and femininity for women” – oh come on. No one has the right or the wisdom to say what feminity is or what masculinity is. Furthermore, why would anyone even want to say that other than to bathe in their own arrogance and the sound of their own voice? Even if those “rules” existed, why would anyone want to abide by them? To please other people? What a sad life it would be.
Don’t get me wrong, I fully understand your dislike of certain things from a personal perspective. I, too, seeing someone can think: ‘You’d look much better if [...].’ Nevertheless, no one ever should care about that because the way you dress should be your self-expression.

He’s playing the fool which is a pity because the trousers and coat look lovely. To be fair the goofy pink beanie brings out the colour in his face but the strings are not for him. He needs a scarf.

Interesting outfit! Love how bold his scarf is <3

Love the colours, the jacket, the trousers and the green socks, love the all-around playfulness. Sandles and socks, why the hell not!?! Live a little.

He gave his appearance thought, care, fun, whimsy, and insouciance. Love the honest gaze. Works for me. Have a delightful day, friend. Let’s get an ice cream at yonder pavilion.

Don’t you all think that there are bigger problems in the world that we all should care about instead of … street style !?? The fashion industry is one of the most unsustainable ones in the world, they are selling beautiful clothes but trashing our waters, our soil, our air and all you people care about is how nicely the pink beanie fits this gentleman’s face ???? IT IS TIME TO WAKE UP PEOPLE.

but the gentleman looks like an activist of all your listed issues

There is no need to assume what we ALL care about. What a beautiful world it would be if style and sustainability mattered at the same time.

Awesome style so big and bold.

This look is awesome from head to ankles! I love the scarf and the happy statement it makes.
The socked Birkenstocks remind me of the political incorrect phrase we have here in Greece for socked sandals “German tourist look” (or well at least back in the 80s-90s).
Oddly enough and especially due to the colour of the socks, this does not look out of place here, rather than that, it seems to glue all the outfit together.

WOW. Love the color, and what a great photo — his face with the beard and glasses is really graphic, as in design, symmetrical, clear-cut, the whatever-he’s-wearing around his neck is painterly, as in flowing, colorful, etc. The way the two work together is wonderful.

His scarf is to die for: where on earth did he find it? Is it an authentic ethnic piece?

I think he looks amazing. He is confident & knows himself well. Some people can wear socks with sandals others can’t. He can !!! <3

This looks like a man who wears exactly what makes him happy. And why shouldn’t he? Surely that makes the ultimate fashionista!
