since you will be so near why don't you come to Lisbon?? i'm a huge fan of yur blog and your photos and i'm very sure there are many many more. we would love to have you here.
What a pity! Cardedeu in quite far from Barcelona… Well, not so close for people, as me, that work in Barcelona city… But I will try to go! It´s a unique occasion! ;-)
If you come back to USA from my country with more than one interesting pic, I'll believe you're a genius who is able to find style anywhere in the world.
By the way, don't come to my city (Valencia): instead of style, we have paella! It's tasty, but not in this way.
yay! i think i can't go because you have to drive 30 min. from bcn to la roca but i'm excited anyway. in spain people don't dress well except for 2 or 3 i hope you find them! we're not good in fashion but we're good in food. hope you enjoy it!
Can't make it to the signing, what a pity it's taking place outside of Barcelona!
May I suggest a delicious wine + peton at ZIM bar (Carrer Dagueria 8, Barcelona) afterwards? It's a tiny, cosy wine bar, right in the centre of the old town…
I´d love to be there, but it´s going to be impossible… Anyways, here´s a suggestion: visit Donostia/San Sebastian, Bilbao, Biarritz… In the Basque Country (the north of Spain and a little bit of the south of France…). Beautiful!!! (and style, style, style…).
yeyy!!!!good news for the dayy!! :)we'll be waiting non-stop in Barcelona for your visit!!!definitly meeting u in la Roca!! hope u enjoy your trip around la bella e España!!!
i'm a huge fan if yours,i just LOVE what u do!gr8 job!
Don't listen to "Jorge Galindo" comment, he doesn't know what he's speaking about (despite its his work). You'll be amazed with Spain, maybe our cities are not like London or NY but we have some good style, also in Valencia! Great city, great people (you should visit it) I follow ur blog
please come to Valencia, you'll be so close! It would be so nice to see you! I have a street style blog with some friends living in Spain, hoe you'll like it
i hope you´ll find tons of stylist people both in madrid and barcelona! i´m trying to begin photographing street style in the city where i live, even if it´s not big enough, but…sometimes it´s a question of searching…or not? kiss! e.
I used to live near the B&N that closed on 6 Ave in NYC and saw you around the neighborhood often Scott … I moved to Barcelona this summer and may try to stop by to say hello though my work-from-home wardrobe would hardly be called sartorial. Anything but. Check out Chowhound.com for foodie recs in both cities. If you're in Barcelona for any length of time rent a car and drive up the Costa Brava to Figueres (Dali museum) and Cadaques (small fishing village a stone's throw from France) and Girona is beautiful too. ¡Disfruta!
is it possible to buy the book during the signing? its not available in my country and my mom will arrive to barcelona on the 19th and the only present ive asked for is the book with the sign :] has anyone any experience? or any place where she can buy it before? i think she won't have time to search. thanks!
Hi, My name is Elana from California but I have been living here in Barcelona for quite a while now. We obviously have never met but if you are looking for anyone to show you around the city, recommendations, night life, restaurants, translate catalan and spanish, it would be an absolute pleasure. Feel free to email even just for suggestions elana_24@hotmail.com
Wow!!!!! Never thought you'd be coming to Madrid!!! Won't miss it! But why so far from the centre??? I can think of tons of beautiful places for your book signing…
You need to visit the Seattle population for a signing!!! Unless you have already, would be greatly inspiring Sart.! A picture says more than 1,000 words, so your book is virtually a world biography!
What a pitty. I am a great fan and i would love to have my book signed. But its really far from BCN city. Hope to see you around downtown taking pictures. Mirja
We are very excited about your visit to Spain!!! We hope the food, style, people and the culture of Spain will inspire you. Visit our blog at varonmag.com — an extension the the gentleman´s style magazine, Varón. We hope to crosspaths with you one day.
P.S: Don't leave Spain without trying a good jamón ibérico.
What a pity! Finally we won´t be able to go to meet you. We have to work that evening. But, where else could we meet you? We (my wife and children) follow your blog every day. your n. 1 fans.
March 2008, I bought one of your beautiful photos "At Victor & Rolfe", the one of a mother and her little girl at the catwalk, with the pink leg and the green sandal up front. I had to order it from your Gallery, and it took what seemed ages at the time.
I can´t believe the fact that getting your book, and meeting you in person is going to be so easy. I have reserved four books, for my daughter who will come to the book signing, for two friends who can´t make it, and for myself. We will be there early, because there is going to be a huge line of fans.
I hope this is not your first visit to Madrid, and you know the city does´nt look as bad usually as it looks now. And this visit of yours will become a periodic treat for us.
Just now our "beloved mayor" has the city in a shambles, full of ditches, of dust, and of workmen everywhere.( One would think they are digging for lost treasure.) And it is the same throughout the city. The nicest walks are now more like endurance treks. But there are still beautiful places, and friendly, if harassed, people.
Anyway. See you tuesday at Las Rozas Village. Can´t wait.
La Roca Village is so far from Barcelona !! I'm french but studying in Barcelona, I was so glad to see you there but I don't think I'll be able to come… what a pity !
Anyway come to Barcelona to take pictures of this beautiful city… and of the colorful & casual spanish streetstyle !
It's such a pity I finally won't be able to meet you this crazy week of work…However I have left you in my blog a sort of guide of Madrid through images, because you can't go only to las Rozas Village. On the contrary you really should go downtown and walk and walk and you'll surely get inspired by Madrid.
I tried to go to the signing but I didn't realize that it was so far outside of town. How unfortunate that you are so far removed removed from the heart of the city
What a pitty you are not coming to Barcelona City, I hope next time you will! (just between you and me… I am sure you would find much more spontaneusly trendy people)
I couldn't seem to find you in Madrid, but I wandered around looking for the book signing for quite a while. Would've loved to have told you this in person, but I just wanted to tell you that I love what you're doing. Hope it went well and that you love Spain!
Hola senor Scott Schumann, welcome to Spain. I always thought i was ur biggest fan here but after reading the comments, not so sure anymore. Fantastic, we're all big Sartoralist fans ! I reside in Barcelona and its a CRYING shame theyre shuffling you away, outside the city in this (terrible, commercial) place. This city is far too beautiful to be bypassed this way and it looks like many fans wont be able to make it to ur booksigning cuase of that. Que pena! Just wanted to tell you that you are a TRU artist with a god-given talent. Your photos are so much more then 'the sum of their parts". They are a vibrant, constant reminder that we are living in a colorful world full of beautiful people, of all ages, race and social class. Your work is a tribute to that, with utmost respect and full of tender 'humanity'. in my opinion, there hides a great humanist in you. Thanks from one-artist-to-another, for you are a guiding light, inspiring MANY, reminding us of your and our greatness !! thanks from the heart, Alexandra Kallos- photography/video artist and Tango dancer/teacher http://www.gotatangocom-alexkallos.blogspot.com
Did you finally come to Barcelona ? Would love to hear your comments on style in Spain and also see any pictures you may have taken in Barcelona. Hope to be able to see you the next time around !!

You need to visit the Seattle population for a signing!!! Unless you have already, would be greatly inspiring Sart.! A picture says more than 1,000 words, so your book is virtually a world biography!

I am looking forward to meeting you on tuesday.
Can´t wait.
Maria

It's such a pity I finally won't be able to meet you this crazy week of work…However I have left you in my blog a sort of guide of Madrid through images, because you can't go only to las Rozas Village. On the contrary you really should go downtown and walk and walk and you'll surely get inspired by Madrid.
This is the web: http://www.vuelo-directo.blogspot.com
Hugs from Madrid and welcome! Loved your book!

I tried to go to the signing but I didn't realize that it was so far outside of town. How unfortunate that you are so far removed removed from the heart of the city

Thanks from one-artist-to-another, for you are a guiding light, inspiring MANY, reminding us of your and our greatness !!
thanks from the heart,
Alexandra Kallos- photography/video artist and Tango dancer/teacher
