This all makes me wish I could afford a Burberry trench. Is he carrying film reels in the last one? I put small reels in those boxes. But regardless, i love how the yellow contrasts to the rest of his outfit. Again, bravo Sart for your good eye for colour composition.
gotta love a trench! the girl in the second shots is my favorite. love her shoes and love the composition with the mats/shades of the flower shot behind her.
This has got to be the most effective marketing campaign ever! Of course, I have had many trench coats, but never a Burberrys, and it is simply not the same thing. So, this item has been on my wish list for a long, long time, but now I feel like running out the door and getting it now!!!
The first picture is perfect, so beautiful. I love the expression on his face, his hands seem so strong and what can i say about the way he wears the trench? Comfortable and easy, yet impeccable. Like the way i like to wear my clothes(try anyway). Even the watch is perfect. Who is that guy anyway? Oh, and i love the girls shoes as well, i would totally wear them.
The first one – oh my! He is beautiful, as is the trench – love the chocolate brown.
Scott, on another point, I just read an article in today's Financial Times, 'I'm in the front row with Anna' with several quotes by you. Congratulation – you have come a long way since I first discovered your blog (being one of your original fans) and deservedly so. Thank you for your work, always an inspiration,
Wow, the first photo makes such an impact- Masculine, Confident, Strong. The way the sleeves are pulled up and the glimpse of his white shirt underneath, he wears it like an alternative to the traditional suit. And the elfin girl with a huge bunch of white lilies just makes me Smile:)
I'm in LOVE with the first photo! I like all your Burberry Trench photos. looking cool looks so easy. They're what converse trainers were 7-8 years ago.
I used to be a bit dismissive about wardrobe staples. I prefer pieces that are twists on the classics, but these photos have really opened my eyes to how interesting the old classics, like the trench, can be.
you have to do a book of these. you've completely altered my view of burberry. every one is a different look. they are so so good! did you really find these people on the street wearing burberry??! how did you know that all these different styles was burberry?!!
What model trench is the gentleman with the glasses wearing in the photo at the top? It looks like something I could actually use. The jackets in my local Burberry store are all so big I'm drowning in them.
The first photo was one of my favourites from "The Art of the Trench" website. I love the colour of the trench in the second photo, but my eye was immediately drawn to the SHOES–they are not only perfect with the coat, they would be perfect with anything!!
wow, lots of worshipping for pic. 1 like the fact that this man drew his belt so tight in his waist, in a way you normally only see women do. for me this is the best art of the trench pics, cause he wears his trench different from the other men from your pics. (I looked and all the other men are wearing their trenchcoats unbuttoned) a daring man!
The first two, especially the woman, with her expression, big lillies in arm, and wonderful shoes, just steal my heart. Hoenstly, Burberry had better be paying you big bucks for this campaign because my credit card is somehow going to slip out of my pocket and into their store!
I love the shoes. SO glad I have my own pair (in black). Just saw them in animal print on the Surface to Air website. OMG I need to get the new ones too!!!!
Photo #3: Stout outfit, all business (but no socks). He contradicts the tight sleeves with no socks and unbuttoned coat. He's got some place to be soon–hurry up and take the pick, Scott!!
One vote for the understated photographer! What a lovely color palette; I really like the way the boxes create the same effect as, say, a yellow scarf, or yellow socks.
Beautiful campaign for Burberry, Scott. Do you really need to post it on the blog though? Better for Burberry and for you if everyone recognizes it for what it's worth – a paid relationship. My two cents only, but if paid work/campaigns become your content as well, then I'm wondering if what you're featuring is truly what you like. I'd also be impressed if this comment is approved…
These are beautiful photographs. Especially the first one! That man looks incredibly similar to Jude Law. His pose is so masculine, yet so perfect for that jacket.

I was admiring this on the Burberry site a little while back. Beautiful work. I've been saving for a Burberry trench for ages!
That first photo is stunning. I don't think I've seen an olive trench in action on a man before.

I wish I could throw on a trench, scarf, and gladiator heels and go out and do groceries.
