Just amazing ♥
November 17, 2009 at 1:06 pm
marvelous…please post a frontal if you shot one!
What a great "pant-skirt"!
November 17, 2009 at 1:10 pm
Love it. I wish more men would embrace the kilt.
November 17, 2009 at 1:12 pm
wow, the french are so creative with how they dress.

I absolutely love men in skirts! I've never seen anything like these kind of bottoms before. nice grey mix.
November 17, 2009 at 1:16 pm
Love a man in a kilt but for the life of me, I can't figure this one out. Is it a kilt over a pencil skirt? That messenger bag is very cool
Jorge from W Palm Beach
This is like the perfect combination of layers, textures, colors and fit. I particularly like the cut and fabric of the kilt. One can see that it took some effort to put this together. One thing I would edit would be the "coins" on the messenger bag flap- they seem a little belly-dancerish to me. Jorge from WPB
November 17, 2009 at 1:18 pm
This man clearly knows who he is and cheers to him!
November 17, 2009 at 1:20 pm
perfect example of unending marriage between courage and fashion!
November 17, 2009 at 1:26 pm
amazing, wonder if those trousers are for women as well…
November 17, 2009 at 1:28 pm
A combination of gangsta low rise with ambisexual style. It looks like this person has layered a skirt made from a man's trousers over clamdigger/capri pants. Felt sandals and black socks complete a look that I can only say is unique – Thank God!
This look does absolutely nothing for male or female or any other gender.
is he wearing a skirt?
November 17, 2009 at 1:29 pm
Very interesting pieces. It's very futuristic and cool! Loves it!
November 17, 2009 at 1:30 pm
That's very brave… like the man bag though.
A monochromatic adventure in texture and construction.
November 17, 2009 at 1:32 pm
What is going on here? LOVE this look.. wish there were an additional front view.
November 17, 2009 at 1:34 pm
It´s weird; but it seems to contain a very interesting man.

November 17, 2009 at 1:37 pm
the nickel fit
November 17, 2009 at 1:42 pm
Too manicured and matched. I want a sense of uncomfort and slight juxtaposition. That's where the human spark and fashion lies.
November 17, 2009 at 1:50 pm
undercover bag and shoes are so amazing.
November 17, 2009 at 1:57 pm
OMG I really need those shoes!!!!
November 17, 2009 at 1:58 pm
OMG I really need those shoes!
November 17, 2009 at 1:59 pm
love the bag…
November 17, 2009 at 2:01 pm
I saw this guy too, and couldn't figure out the garment. Was it more like pants in the front, skirt in the back?
November 17, 2009 at 2:17 pm
he's wearing mostly Undercover
November 17, 2009 at 2:20 pm
that's freakin awesome!
November 17, 2009 at 2:35 pm
wow, i want to see the front. This is all very interesting and different.
November 17, 2009 at 2:38 pm
November 17, 2009 at 2:40 pm
love love love love
November 17, 2009 at 2:41 pm
such an amazing cut…outstanding. love the shoes, would replace the bag.
interesting look, but completely unflattering. the anti-sartorialist.
November 17, 2009 at 2:48 pm
Love the structure !
November 17, 2009 at 2:52 pm
Don't know how I feel about this. Didn't really like the Thom Browne skirt either.
November 17, 2009 at 2:54 pm
Now there is someone who balances yin with yang. And I'm lovin' the chi.
November 17, 2009 at 2:58 pm
Wow!! Where can I get such artistic clothing? Absolutely amazing
November 17, 2009 at 3:03 pm
Love all of this! The details on the bag are the best!
November 17, 2009 at 3:04 pm
What a fantastic person, I want to meet him
November 17, 2009 at 3:05 pm
wish we could tell if it was one lower garment or two. shiny oxfords would have given an interesting authority to this very brave item.
November 17, 2009 at 3:15 pm
It's puzzling. The choices are carefully made with a subdued palate and a subtle mix of textures–the menswear fabric, the felt shoes, the dark metal coins on the bag. Nothing screams, "Look at me!" But somehow all together the look will inevitably attract attention.
November 17, 2009 at 3:24 pm
Looks very nice, I like combination of grey colours with original trousers and bag.
November 17, 2009 at 3:40 pm
I realy like that style, but i have to say: I live in Germany next to the border to France and not so far from Paris but it is pretty cold here and he must be realy though to wear that in mid of november.
Oh, I love this!
I like it.
November 17, 2009 at 3:43 pm
he is man enough to pull this look off. very appealing and tres stylish.
Cool! Love the bag and the pants skirt ahahah!
dy of ghost
November 17, 2009 at 3:46 pm
i like this. the layers of black and grey are great!
November 17, 2009 at 3:50 pm
i might be able to pull something like that off.
November 17, 2009 at 3:54 pm
i love it
November 17, 2009 at 3:57 pm
I love this look!! but where is his fixed-gear bike!? (nice messenger bag)
I want his bag.
November 17, 2009 at 4:07 pm
Yes, we need a frontal view and: Where does the bag come from?
The Fabulous Ru
November 17, 2009 at 4:16 pm
I wish there was an additional front view too! Ever since Marc Jacobs started wearing the man skirts a little bit ago my interest kind of grew. Does anyone know who makes this particular skirt? I need to do research. lol
November 17, 2009 at 4:18 pm
nice bag¡nice back¡
November 17, 2009 at 4:30 pm
the bag is gorgeous!
November 17, 2009 at 4:31 pm
What a fantastic combination of textures… brave, bold and brilliantly youthful look.I wish i was able to wake up and look futuristic and fresh some times. I am going to work my way up to a mens skirt; but first i have to get felted shoes… just don't see enough felted shoes around.
November 17, 2009 at 4:42 pm
I guess the bag is self-personalised. Looks great.
November 17, 2009 at 4:54 pm
I really like this, it all goes together really well. I'd love to see it from the front too.
November 17, 2009 at 4:56 pm
what in the world?Well, he gets an A for bravery but I can't say I find it appealing – not for him or anybody.Colours are great.
November 17, 2009 at 5:06 pm
I wish you would have 360 degree views–this looks amazing!
November 17, 2009 at 5:07 pm

louise or valentine
November 17, 2009 at 5:32 pm
experimental mens wear is sort of my favorite thing ever. also, the title of this and the outfit kind of reminds me of ravoli. which is also great.i love this so much.
November 17, 2009 at 5:43 pm
Definitely not for the masculine man, but some great use of silhouette, monochromatic items, and texture. Only in Paris.
November 17, 2009 at 5:53 pm
whatever it is he's doing, he's thought about it.
November 17, 2009 at 6:47 pm
The grey bottom piece is certainly interesting, but it doesn't seem flattering. How were the other pedestrians responding to this man?
..Does anyone have more information as to what that piece of clothing is called, and who made it?

Would love to see a front view of this outfit, but I'm loving what I see from the back. The shades of grey, the shoes, and the kilt/skirt scream "Cool"!
November 17, 2009 at 7:25 pm
Loving the bag as well…the kilt is also "interesting"
November 17, 2009 at 7:40 pm
What a fantastic bag!!
November 17, 2009 at 7:42 pm
November 17, 2009 at 8:52 pm
The pants/kilt and boots are from Undercover FW09. The messenger bag is from Undercover SS09.

November 18, 2009 at 9:08 am
Looks great with the bag.
November 18, 2009 at 3:42 pm
Jean-Paul Gaultier would be very happy.
As he once said in passing to a male acquaintance of mine who was wearing a kilt and had no idea who he was: " Skirts on men! That's a VERY good idea!"
November 18, 2009 at 6:48 pm
Reminds me of my catholic school uniform.I pretty much feel the same way about this as I did about my uniform:)
November 18, 2009 at 9:20 pm
Now who doesn't love a man in a skirt?
A guy at my school last year used to wear kilts at least once a week. It was brilliant!
November 18, 2009 at 9:44 pm
from far away i would think he had his jacket tied around his waist…
November 18, 2009 at 11:32 pm
WOW I really really dig his bag! I love how the light bounces off the little jingles. The kilt is VERY interesting. Amazing! Shoes remind me of gladiators, but cozy. Haha. Great!
November 19, 2009 at 1:27 am
November 19, 2009 at 2:04 am
well it looks good. but on my own opinion it doesn't make him look manly.
November 19, 2009 at 3:15 am
Head to toe, love it.
November 19, 2009 at 7:28 am
What the ????
November 19, 2009 at 8:50 am
OK, he was really able to pull this one off – esp with the color coordination. I love he look; he gets kudos.
November 19, 2009 at 2:08 pm
Ewww. I find the bag more interesting than that train wreck below his knees.
November 19, 2009 at 3:49 pm
Amazing outfit – the boots and the trousers in particular. Where are these from?
November 19, 2009 at 4:48 pm
every man needs a skort. right?
November 19, 2009 at 6:24 pm
wtf! This should be burned for the way it looks like a school girl got caught in a pair of men's trousers. Can someone get her out please?!?
November 20, 2009 at 12:00 am

November 21, 2009 at 8:39 pm
I actually wish I had my catholic school uniform back. Might have been my most stylish outfit ever – gray knife pleated skirt, black cardigan and white blouse. MKP
November 21, 2009 at 10:57 pm
meh… I guess I'm old fashioned but I think clothes should accentuate the wearer's figure, not butcher it. If he was wearing normal pants it would look much better.
November 22, 2009 at 12:02 am
whoa, very interesting
November 22, 2009 at 9:59 am
