oooooo… perfection. the man had successfully combined school-prep look with equestrian chic. genius! i love brown leather jackets ( i even own one ;) ).
this look is very A.P.C….a little bit boring (yes) but very understated & stylish. je l'adore.
the proportions are working, everything seems to fit him just right & the jacket is not too slim but not to baggy, just perfect!
btw, the young man has a rough masculine vibe going on…he looks like a much cooler & hotter version of the gardener that comes to trim the hedges of my building every other thursday…
Amazing how when one is comfortable in their skin/outer layer their inner self shows through. Only if you captured it with your photo of course! He just looks so effortlessly relaxed, especially in the eyes and the nice crisp blue collar is a sure sign winter is on it's way! (Impeccably dressed of course as all winters are!)
Love the outfit..sometimes simplicity beats flash. The whole look looks "soft", i actually want to touch the jacket to see if its as buttery as it looks. Love the fit and the jeans. This is the kinda outfit my dreams man would wear. very nice.
What's wrong with you guys? The fit, the fit, the fit! Maybe it's not "exciting," but how many of you have clothes that fit so perfectly? What's this, class, no hands? All right then…..
i don't understand the criticisms. some of the most important elements of fashion such as silhouette, fit, and colour coordination are spot on here. i bet if a woman dressed like this exactly, everyone would be all over it because "oooh she's so androgynous, how daring!" subtlety has a place in style too, let's not be snobby about what's "boring" or what's "daring".
I apologize but this outfit is entirely dull. It may be found on any regular bloke with a baseball cap and a paunch walking around in my tiny, fashion-vacuum town…. are you sure that isn't Squamish, Canada? p.s. I LOVE your blog.
Sorry, that's safe and boring. Compare it to the picture of Alessandra Colombo below; individual, stylish and a bit edgy. Now that's a sartorial winner.
Jesus Christ. Why such harsh criticism? Dude probably put this on go meet someone for lunch. It's not like he's trying to change the world one pair of jeans at a time.
The hair's nice. You don't necessarily have to be ultra-manicured to look good.
Most likely the jeans are either McQueen or APC. They're casual but you can dress them up a bit, like here.
I love the sunshine in his hands and the chynky gold ring on the finger. his face advertises tranquility from within and the classic brown leather jacket, the tidy shirt-sweater-jeans combo is so innocent and handsome. Maybe a superhero in his alterego outfit? Marianne/oslo

but the real difference is that she's a woman and he's a man. and that's why so many people are criticizing him. she dresses like a man and she's applauded for it. he dresses like a man, and he's ridiculed. it's a double standard. do people actually expect him to wear leggings and nail polish?

Très classe, très fashion en restant tra…un beau gosse en somme!!!Est-il possible d'avoir son 06? Puis-je être ami avec lui? En vrai, c'est pas faux!!! fat kiss
I wonder what he sounds like when he talks. Like if is mysterious presence is broken by a bunch of gossipy gabbing, or if he sounds like Anontio Banderez, or… Also, I've had jeans that pulled open at the top, revealing the zipper pull. Either their too small at the waist, or they were made in a small batch and the button isn't centered well. They look like they could be custom for that reason, not to mention the fit. Also the stitching seems somewhat un-machine made.
But overall, compared to the asinine way that many (most) American men dress, I think this sets a very nice (and achievable) example of how to dress, within your comfort zone. And I'll be darned if this man doesn't look nice. I have feeling he could get away without wearing any clothes if he wanted to.

Jacket could be a bit more understated–the brown is a bit much.
The sweater could be plainer–too much color going on–and I'd like to see a more generic collar under it.
The jeans should be more generic looking.
Haircut is much too wild. Needs to be cut shorter.
