While attractive by itself i can not help but think that the turmeric and pumpkin shade not only work with few skin tones, but also that the turmeric shade bleaches out the skin tone badly on the first model, that just as pastel periwinkle and olive were good buffers for two of the other orangy shades, that something more effective than black coukd have been tried, something with some relieving contrast. Seagreen might work. Not sure. I am trying to imagine in my head. Neither of the two colors that I currently miss: creamy plum, and beryl woukd work. Several pale pastel blues might work. Maroon would likely work. A platinum shade of light grey also should.

I think the pumpkin works very well. It shows off her beautiful, pale, porcelain complexion.

I agree with Suki that the orange shades are not always flattering. The coats are elegant but it gets tiresome to see the same styling, slouchy socks with sandals. This styling gives it a grunge look. What’s wrong with elegant boots or shoes. It looks like all the models have been instructed to not smile and to look somber. I think it would be so nice to see some life and individuality in the model’s expression.

Well, maybe it would, but this is not a beauty contest, and no one that is important is looking at the models. The show is not about them at all, which is why they are not supposed to smile, wave, or engage the audience. The show is only about clothing, and how they look in it. I am sure that people can wear the pieces however they want once they get them home, elegant, grungy, or not, but shouldn’t a show have a point of view? What I do see is that the color certainly looks wonderful on the light skinned models they do show.It looks fantastic on them. Maybe it would make a more olive complexion look sallow? I am a pale red head, and the color does well for me, i think it would look rather perfect on any lighter skinned, dark haired person.
