November 30, 2009 at 7:52 am
such great style! I love it all: the striped dress and leather-vest, and especially the brown boots which, together with the brown leather strap around her waist, makes it all come together.
i like it but her legs must be cold! perhaps some navy woolly tights?
November 30, 2009 at 8:04 am
She is STUNNING!
November 30, 2009 at 8:10 am
What's the weather like in NYC these days? I mean bare legs… nothing looks good if you're freezing.

November 30, 2009 at 8:14 am
it was surprisingly warm over the Thanksgiving Day weekend. This outfit was just right for that day.
November 30, 2009 at 8:20 am
Damn, she looks good but what she's wearing in THAT weather is making ME freeze over! Unique, sorta cool look though (odd, but that's half the perverted charm).
November 30, 2009 at 8:28 am
I love this outfit and how the white crosswalk stripes and concrete perfectly compliment her striped tunic.

November 30, 2009 at 8:46 am

she's gorgeous and and at the same time playing with this season's fashion codes. respect!
November 30, 2009 at 10:53 am
As is the case with so many examples of 'style', the look works in large part due the physical attractiveness of the individual. This same look on a paunchy… ill groomed individual….not so much.
mom & son

November 30, 2009 at 12:38 pm
I'm loving her shoes, they're really cute! The color scheme goes great with her skin tone. However, i'm not too crazy about the stripes. I find it throws off away from the whole look.
November 30, 2009 at 12:41 pm
I don´t like her shoes
If the shoes were black coloured,
excuse my englis,

November 30, 2009 at 12:57 pm
don't like the stripe-shirt.think of her wearing a flowered tunika, that would just be gorgeous.but the shoes rock!!
November 30, 2009 at 12:58 pm
I love the outfit! Gorgeous!
November 30, 2009 at 1:07 pm
Some people know how to get it just right.

I just love the fact that she's wearing that awesome black and white nautical shirt/dress with those brown boots. Nice, clean and simple look. She's look fierce.

November 30, 2009 at 2:47 pm
like the shoes
Why dont u come to london!?
November 30, 2009 at 3:09 pm
What I think captured my eye and Sart's in this subject was of course the choice of brown on black. What I didn't really realize until reading the comments is how naturally this subject combines the two colors that "fashion" says should be separated. The contrast between her natural tanned skin tone against her dark hair is echoed in the pairing of brown and black in the outfit. Good Job Sart.

November 30, 2009 at 5:45 pm
love EVERYTHING but the shoes
November 30, 2009 at 5:56 pm
I'm not a fan of Guevara clothing and gung-ho shoes.

November 30, 2009 at 6:18 pm
Cool Combination! I like the contrast between the top and under garments.
November 30, 2009 at 6:23 pm
wowwww. love that vest!!
November 30, 2009 at 6:39 pm
The outfit isn't for me, but I think it really suits her.
I'm not commenting for the outfit though, I'm commenting for the lighting of this photo. The way the light hits her face and the way she's looking into the distance make it look like the sun is rising just for her. Beautiful.
November 30, 2009 at 8:10 pm
Great outfit, she really pulls this off, however, I'm not really a fan of pairing black and brown.
November 30, 2009 at 8:47 pm
gorgeous! I love how you continuously shoot individuals who go by their own standard of what looks good! I really admire people who can pull off things that the rest of the world would be petrified to try. This girl looks absolutely gorgeous in her own unique. great find!
November 30, 2009 at 9:03 pm
perfect looks! i really love her style, so alexa-chung-kind-of-chic ;) my favorite is her boots, absolutely.
November 30, 2009 at 9:27 pm

November 30, 2009 at 9:56 pm
She has a beautiful face!
November 30, 2009 at 10:05 pm
generally, i think that i would never wear black with brown, but in this outfit the combination looks fabulus! i do not think this is perfect but it is a nice try though.. helen =)
November 30, 2009 at 10:29 pm
Wow! I like the way she combined everything she loves together. The DIY tiny belt made her look chic. Great mix between black and brown. Just can't wait to try her formula, myself. Love her.
November 30, 2009 at 10:30 pm

December 1, 2009 at 1:36 am
LOVE your blog! I just created my own, if you get a chance I'd love for you to visit it!
December 1, 2009 at 2:52 am
The picture is great as always (composition, light…), the girl is attractive BUTI cannot imagine this outfit "in motion", the long leather top will not move, the dress will kind of flip flop at the bottom. As for the 3 textures of the boots (wooden heel, leather plus woolly border), it does not work for me. Finally her beautiful legs are not proportioned right for these boots. It almost looks as though she has borrowed the shoes of somebody much bigger.
December 1, 2009 at 3:23 am
love the combination black, white and brown,it looks so goodhttp://www.therichhomeless.blogspot.com
December 1, 2009 at 3:52 am

wooow!!hello georgeous ..
December 1, 2009 at 6:20 am
She's looks great, true New York style
December 1, 2009 at 6:23 am
Not so much. The girl is beautiful and so is the light. I like the individual pieces of this outfit but not really together. The boots with some shearling or cotton trim with a striped dress and a shiny purse and so forth, just too mixed up for my taste
December 1, 2009 at 6:39 am
I like her outfit
December 1, 2009 at 7:18 am
This outfit only looks good because she's gorgeous. Otherwise, I totally don't get it. Glad to see I'm not the only one who thinks so.
December 1, 2009 at 11:45 am
Gorgeous, wow, she pulled off cool without dressing stereotypical "cool", bravo!
December 1, 2009 at 12:04 pm
Of course I echo the sentiment on the boots, love them. Everything works.
December 1, 2009 at 1:01 pm
gorgeous. but i would really like to know when this was taken. i bet it was late september. i think maybe the pics should be dated because otherwise people feel misled if they're led to believe she's wearing this in freezing winter
December 1, 2009 at 1:51 pm
Wow, that's what I call a sense of style!!!
December 1, 2009 at 1:52 pm
The books look fabulous!
It was great fun seeing The Sartorialist in person @ the Dallas signing!
December 1, 2009 at 1:53 pm
DOES ANYONE KNOW WHERE HER BOOTS ARE FROM???
December 1, 2009 at 1:54 pm
WONDERFULL!! i love it!
December 1, 2009 at 2:42 pm
It's so funny to me that these lace-up boots are in style now. My mother bought me a black and a brown pair several years ago that I never wore. I went and dug them out of storage a few weeks ago b/c they are so trendy right now. LOVE IT!! Free and stylish :) She looks great in this pic btw!

December 2, 2009 at 12:34 pm

December 2, 2009 at 4:35 pm
She looks stunning, casual yet classy. I like the pairing of the vest with the shirtdress.
December 2, 2009 at 5:34 pm
Gorgeous silky-haired woman, but the clothes gave my stomach an unpleasant lurch. The stripes, the cheap-looking leather doublet, and the little leather belt made me think of a high school pirate stage costume.
If that's a fleecy trim on the boots, then…they're too cold-weather looking to wear with long bare legs.
Such a pretty gal deserves a restyle.
December 2, 2009 at 10:18 pm
Great outfit. Love the boots especially!
December 3, 2009 at 2:32 pm
shoes look like united bamboo!!!
December 4, 2009 at 7:25 pm
initially, it seems like a great outfit, but then it looked pirate-like. she pulls it off though.
December 4, 2009 at 10:15 pm

December 4, 2009 at 11:28 pm
I love this combination! Cannot carry off such high heels but would have loved to step in them!
December 4, 2009 at 11:46 pm

she is boyy bag designer and her style always stunning! :)
December 15, 2009 at 7:21 am
Those boots remind me somehow of GAP's Design Editions by Pierre Hardy (as seen on ELLE UK October issue) that I so desperately wanted… Unfortunately they don't ship to Spain. :(
December 23, 2009 at 1:14 pm
clean and perfect for her features

I was just about to buy that exact dress! Is that vest leather? I can't tell. Her shoes are to die for. I like how her shoes and belt are almost the same color. That ties in the whole look.
