The lighting says morning but is that a beer in her hand? And the scowl says ‘leaving the club at dawn’.
This photo is loaded with back story.

nah, it’s DST in NY so that light is what it looks like at dusk from 3-5

Do you really find her expression a scowl?
November 6, 2015 at 9:19 pm
You jump to some odd conclusions. She is NOT scowling She just has a regular relaxed expression. And how do you know what she has in the cup????? It looks like morning, a girl is walking by with a cup of water, most likely. She is looking back at Scott as he takes her picture with a quizzical expression.

Such a confusing look…..that you can’t not notice…
It seems as if she is frightened of the photographer. Well, if my hair had that color, I would dye it!

i love how the morning sun back lights her hair like a green halo, though she doesn’t seem like an angelic type if the rest of the photo says everything it implies.

I am impartial to women with dyed hair. The chucks x coat do make me curious. I do wonder about the context as well.

Street style. Yes!

She’s got a great look (and great legs!), but this time the photography itself is what grabs the attention. Great capture, so much going on and yet it’s not messy.

Her face tells me there is a significant story here.

As a father of college daughters, I have laughed on numerous occasions when something that I did in the Dark Ages (wear Chuck Taylors) resurfaces as au courant.

Iced coffee or tea (prob coffee given the color) — notice the black straw.
And that’s Spring and Bowery on the East Side of the street facing downtown, so afternoon sun.

notice the black straw — iced coffee or tea.
This is the east side of bowery at spring street, looking downtown, afternoon light. (google streetview can confirm).

The oversized and fuzzy combination of shorts and winter jacket is wonderfully risky. I like her converse runners, worn for comfort. All together an interesting look, nothing trendy or slavish about it.

I love the light in this picture

One word: New York… ok 2 words ;)

I was in Brooklyn lately. Why do we not see images of Brooklyn, neighborhoods like Prospect Park, Red Hook, Greenpoint, East Williamsburg, Park Slope? It’s dangerous? I tasted fabulous lobster in Greenpoint, best pizza on corner of Bogart St, I saw graffiti artists drawing, why we don’t see that in your NY pictures?

Love that picture. The sunlight gives everything a warm touch. And her hair looks great.

Nice outfit..!! Love it!

I love the capture of light and damp so much on this photo. Great job!

I am very old fashioned about style, and would usually pass this sort of thing by. But there is something about this girl, her style, and this picture. I was intrigued enough to enlarge the image to look at her. And she is beautiful.
I find I do get bored by all the brand fashion and crazy trends followed slavishly. She is doing her own thing without looking like a nut. (And these days, that’s unusual.)

Here’s one where the girl makes the outfit. And the photo helps. But mostly the girl.
