Where to start! Love the mix of patterns on the girl which after her smile is the first thing you notice. Then there's the backdrop of the wallpaper. Bravo!
the photography is beautiful as always. she is so lucky to have been snapped by a scott schuman. the overall combination of outfit is great and original and i do adore her hair too.
Re: Meraldia — beg to differ — I love that she doesn't look like she's living in a previous decade, despite the individual vintage pieces! Very updated, very eye-catching, very lovely indeed. :)
It's so good to open the Sartorialist page and to find that ray of sun. Almost everyone is a ray of sun on the blog, but this is the perfect one to bring joy and inspiration in a cold grey London day. The honey shades, the devil hint in the hair, the pixie smile and the granny flowers in the back…that made my day!
What an eclectic mix of leopard print, (hermes?) scarf, stripes and red hair – topped with a beautiful smile! (The wallpaper adds a nice touch to the pattern mix)
very cute, I have some pictures like these on my blog.. marissaofthesea.com let me know what you think! I live in Laguna Beach and work at Laguna Supply a clothing store that attracts some really cool shoppers! xoxo marissaofthesea
The coolest! I love her color and smile and makeup and curls and prints and pretty much would love to just trade places for a day. How does she do it!? Cutie patootie
I love her expression and her energy – she's the first subject I can think of whose facial expression actually looks like what I would expect most people would look and feel like if they knew they were being photographed by YOU and were going to appear in your massively fabulous blog!
i loved all the mix of colours, textures and the contrast between stripes and animal print. the style is awesome and the haircut it´s so dared and different.
She exudes positive energy all over! She has an original style and vintage looks to match the store. The light floral backdrop makes her stripes look prominent.
Oh I thought you were done with Australia photos! I hope there are more to come! Everyone is so happy, and they don't take it so seriously, yet are so incredibly stylish!
Beautiful. I love the different faces of Melbourne you have shown, they each do the city justice.
I also love the mix of facial expressions and semblances each person shows as it proves they are real people in various walks of life – some feeling like the world is their oyster others feeling it's wrath. The shy, the bold, the happy, the strong, the sad – all dressed beautifully.
LOVE the play on patterns, the scarf, and the red hair! She is absolutely stunning! The first word that came to me was "CUTE"! As in she is SO cute…That includes her style. This picture spells 1000 words. You can just see her soft, genuine, yet, don't mess with me personality….
Whenever I´m fed up with ignorant, narrowminded people, I just have to browse this site to be reminded of all the beautiful, stylish, sparkling souls like this girl out there! Love it!
Can't decide what I like the best, your photograph with the cool wallpaper to pick up on the gold or her ingenuity in putting the outfit together. She hit it right-on and so did you.
Love her bold & sassy style! Would never have thought of combining stripes with leopard print myself, but it works. The red tights and bracelet really complement her hair.
I love the picture and I adore her smile, and her style is really something else, if I like it or not, doesn't really matter, cos it's all about her character, and she seems to be happy. This is one of the style that "should not" work at all, but it does. Even if I wouldn't dress like that, I still like it. a bit over the top maybe. Personally I am more in to classy black-white-grey simple stuff with only one piece sticking out. In this pic there is like 5 things sticking out :)
Ruby is the sort of girl I desperately wanted to look like in my teens and 20s. Love that alternative '80s chic; it's still such a groovy look. I must pop into Ruby's store now that I know it's Barkly St, not Baker St (have you been watching "Sherlock Holmes", Mr Sart?) and ask her to make me over!
I love the asymmetry in her hair. I feel like asymmetrical bangs are hard to pull off well, and she does it beautifully. The patterns are all reflected in the scarf, and her color coordination is enviable.
wear loads of dark and bright colors like orange goes owsum with blue, grey and purple to have a cozy and safer feeling in the season of hot and cold.i'd like to mention Leigh Lezark’s unique style and Erin Wasson to get a cindy crawford feeling and girl olivia and Nicky Hilton are next to mention.

She is amazing & has an awe-inspiring smile which makes you wish you were there…. especially with the sun/light hitting her in such a heavenly way.
I just love the wall paper behind her though… never would have thought that would actually work. Simply brilliant!

Her quirky and adorable smile completes the outfit (which is just as quirky and adorable)…
The wallpaper, might I add, really highlights the retro vibe i see in the outfit. Does that make sense?

Ruby is the sort of girl I desperately wanted to look like in my teens and 20s. Love that alternative '80s chic; it's still such a groovy look.
I must pop into Ruby's store now that I know it's Barkly St, not Baker St (have you been watching "Sherlock Holmes", Mr Sart?) and ask her to make me over!

I love the asymmetry in her hair. I feel like asymmetrical bangs are hard to pull off well, and she does it beautifully. The patterns are all reflected in the scarf, and her color coordination is enviable.
