Ah.. such a lovely, uplifting photograph. I’m having breakfast in Florence, vicariously. Would that I were really on that balcony. Thanks, Scott.

Sitting in a cold kitchen in Boston the day after the blizzard, one can only dream of a gorgeous setting like this. Enjoy.

The light coming through the grapes is sublime – very renaissance – a lovely study.
The slow pace

Slow paced breakfasts while travelling are just the best thing in the world. And if they take place under the Tuscan sun… that’s unbeatable.

Just this once Davy, let’s overlook the carbohydrates.
Style is the answer to everything, a fresh way to approach a dull or dangerous thing.

Better than the last “continental” breakfast I was served!
On a more serious note, do you use/prefer a camera “app” such as 645pro? I like the ability to fix exposure & focus that such apps provide

What a charming view. Years ago I stayed in a hotel that have a little balcony with a view very similar to this. The sunset was so beautiful. Having such a breakfast, with such a view, it’s a very nice way to start the day.

Nothing like the warm light from the Italian sunrise! That breakfast looks great.
