The orange makes it work, great kit.

Nice color combination…Annabel from petiteannabel.blogspot.com
Flawless, beautiful palette, comfortable yet not sloppy cut, very classic yet undoubtedly modern, worn with refined charisma. I would have liked to see shoes and the lower part of the trousers!

Smashing. Brown and orange are great in combination.
February 9, 2010 at 8:45 am

February 9, 2010 at 8:46 am

February 9, 2010 at 8:47 am

February 9, 2010 at 8:49 am
Great mix, very elegant japanese man
February 9, 2010 at 8:50 am
It's the range of colours and textures here that works so well.
February 9, 2010 at 8:56 am
makes me think of the main male character "the elegance of the hedgehog"
February 9, 2010 at 8:57 am
Sumptuous palette! I am inspired.

Very well done. Magnificent!!!!!
February 9, 2010 at 9:10 am
Brown and orange is one of my favorite combinations ever! Good-looking, and fitting the background perfectly. When Japan meets Italy there's always a hint of magic…
The perfect casual color palette for Fall/Winter….I'm sure he's got brown suede brogues or a dark brown pebble grain split toe on his feet!
February 9, 2010 at 9:17 am
the orange scarf give the outfit a particoular touch of elegance!
February 9, 2010 at 9:21 am
fantastic match of patterns & colors.
February 9, 2010 at 9:30 am
Oh, I love this series. These men are all so different, yet there is an unmistakeable flow going on here. I love it. I'd like to see this photograph and the two before all hanging together, they are lovely Scott.
February 9, 2010 at 9:39 am
This gentleman blends elegance and playfulness like no one else. You've photographed him several times–I think he's worthy of a spotlight series so we can learn more about him and his style.
February 9, 2010 at 9:49 am
I like all that the gentleman is wearing except the frames. Call me pedantic but something like what Monsieur Schuman wears would have been perfect. Or something like what Philip Seymour Hoffman wore as Truman Capote when he gave a preview reading of his book in the film. Yeah!

this guy always knows what time it is! this photo captures a more feminine side to him than the usual cool ass he is depicted as (with cigarette) in earlier photos.
February 9, 2010 at 10:09 am
cool orange for this season!Kiss!
February 9, 2010 at 10:18 am
Love this colour combo (and note my very Canadian way of spelling 'colour'…ha!) For those of us who reside in areas where oodles of maple trees transform seasonally into gold and vibrant rusty-oranges, this palette is quite "autumn". Can't say I will be wearing it anytime before September…I just want to warmer weather right now!
February 9, 2010 at 10:20 am
… and blue. the barely visible light blue shirt collar makes this elegant man's look far from boring.

Great color combinations! I do like the theme running in this and the past two photos. Some of us can't pull off the orange hair from yesterdays photo but the orange scarf is a definite!johnbenjaminpritchett.blogspot.com
February 9, 2010 at 10:49 am
If he'd take away the orange shawl, it'd look to fall-like, but with it, it's perfect for spring!
February 9, 2010 at 10:52 am
Yes, the man who always looks so together!
February 9, 2010 at 10:53 am
This is an absolutely beautiful photograph!
February 9, 2010 at 10:56 am
<3!! what a great match
February 9, 2010 at 11:00 am
Not my fave outfit, but the tie of the scarf is very dégagé & effective, & shows a good eye.
February 9, 2010 at 11:07 am
I've seen this man here before and think it's very elegant. those colors are very flattering and male.
February 9, 2010 at 11:15 am
Wonderful style! The grey, the patterns, and even the blue shirt make the orange & brown less aggressive than it would be in many cases (think 1970s fashion)
February 9, 2010 at 11:39 am
love the pic as usual! perfect use of browns

Superb fit jacket. Could you tell whether the breast pocket is patched or beson? Can´t tell from the angle.
February 9, 2010 at 1:41 pm
Young men must be schooled to understand the effectiveness as well as balance of a shocking piece of color. Whether it be around the neck, waist, or ankles, a dash of color is always a welcome compliment to any grounded ensemble!http://olderbrothersadvice.wordpress.com/
February 9, 2010 at 1:53 pm
orange and brown are such yummy colors!
February 9, 2010 at 1:58 pm

he looks like a pitti tibetan monk…

I have 5 young sons. From growing up in an all girl family, my interest in fashion is now quite male orientated. This look inspires me to dress up my sons. Dashing.
February 9, 2010 at 4:59 pm
the most perfect pop of orange-y color.
February 9, 2010 at 5:14 pm
Adoring this guy's scarf. Just beyond cool. And the light is amazing! Xxxc

February 9, 2010 at 6:53 pm
Hi! WHo is this very stylish monsieur? I see him in alot of your pictures.
February 10, 2010 at 1:45 am
Brown and Orange… flawless! But they always are! There is more to it, though… I can feel the cool, crisp air and the warmth of the sun. He's the masterpiece and the backdrop fades to a blur. I luv it!
February 10, 2010 at 5:41 am
Impeccable! I still remember with great clarity an outfit of his you photographed–perfectly balanced shades and textures of bright blue.
February 10, 2010 at 5:58 am
Great style, a real pleasure to see that orange and brown works out together…
February 10, 2010 at 9:20 am

February 10, 2010 at 11:22 am
Brown and orange are one of my favourite colour combinations!!! It's a way to brighten the spirit if winter. Here and there, to make a diference…. Love the jacket! Becoming a fan…
February 10, 2010 at 11:38 am
I have just started recently wearing orange and brown, and it is a fly combination. I give my props to this fellow.
February 11, 2010 at 12:16 am
Classic fit! LOVE IT!
February 11, 2010 at 6:40 am
Mr. Akamine! He's the perfection.
February 11, 2010 at 8:52 am
No. Too tight and too precious, although the colours are good. You've shown him before and he does have rather good taste….

A fabulous palete of materials:corduroy, cashmere, wool plaid & I'm sure cashmere scarf. Beautifully aligned colors, with soft blue dress shirt, mmm..YummyPlease let's not forget, matched plaid, the fit; tailored to perfection. My favorite a rolled lapel. Man of Style
February 13, 2010 at 2:02 am
Is he mr AKAMINE?
February 15, 2010 at 6:04 am
I would describe the ensomble as eclectic and intelligent… on someone else. Note the unhealthy glow to his complexion, Orange, is clearly not his colour
April 22, 2011 at 3:57 pm
Very nice and polished.
