Me too. The color of his shirt and scarf are so close to the colors of the flowers. Obviously not planned but a beautiful find

the flowers are the only accessory he needs! :)

Really? I think the jeans are what really stands out. They fit him perfectly. Not high, not low, not loose, just right. Exactly right.

Very difficult to find these days. Unpretentious, timeless, and a perfect fit.

Wow I’m in love. At least with the colors.

And a beautiful way to tie a scarf around the waist! You need to be pretty skinny to pull off a waist scarf I think…
But more importantly… I want to know what the group of people are eating in the background! :P

Great shot! He looks like he is in midstride to do some real action. Great haircut, that would be really vogue right now on the right head, but not every head like all the bed heads and spike points guys are wearing now here–no gel I bet in his case. He should be a model.

This lovely man and the guy in the red pants & neckerchief from a few days back look like they should start a band together–they’d be so dang cool!

Love! Such a great shot. Such a familiar scene – with the marigolds in the background since its wedding season!

Why are you only capturing the poor poulace of India? Go to bangalore, South Mumbai, Connaught Place and capture some real street fashion!

His pose is striking. He stands in strength. Very captivating photograph. He is also a very incredibly handsome man. Love the wrap tied around his waist.
December 18, 2014 at 10:12 pm
Oh, downright dreamy!
The peoples of that part of the world are more likely to be very attractive than not, from what I’ve witnessed.

The cover of book number three, Scott Schulman?! (It would be difficult each time, I am sure). This is a stunning photograph. While the subject’s handsome face is very easy to look at, the gorgeous warm tones of shirt and sash and the yellow flowers all contrasting with the blue jeans. their cut and how they sit over the sandals – in themselves something that is less common in western men’s dress, the soft colours of the men in the background and perfect though unpredictable composition – pause for breath!
My favourite since… my last favourite.
I really do like!

There is something really beautiful about this man. He’s striking and so is the photo.
December 18, 2014 at 9:49 pm
He’s like my alter ego!
December 18, 2014 at 10:39 pm
Love it. Really want to know what the men in the background are eating! Isn’t that the mark of a truly great photograph: an amazingly beautiful striking image in front and still the viewer is encouraged to look past that to explore the whole image further? Stunning. If you ever run a competition for a reader to spend a day with you as you’re out photographing things, I would simply *have* to enter, and cross all my fingers and all my toes, as I would be fascinated to see you ‘at work’…..!

I can see that India had a massive impact! I love India and am always ready to return – it’s pure magic and no place on earth is quite like it xx

He looks super cool. Wonder if the the scarf tied round his waist is a fashion statement of just practicality.

Absolutely perfect. All men could learn something from this.

Otherwise than being handsome, he’s a trendsetter: a great mix between East and West. Jeans with that shash? Fantastic!
December 25, 2014 at 9:59 am
What really stands out is this guys confidence. He looks like a man that’s got it together in a country where most people are struggling.
December 30, 2014 at 10:02 pm
I’m from Mumbai, I’m Indian…and I’m amazed to read the above comments from such a varied group of people across the globe. And I’m thinking , how perceptions differ. Honestly, This picture is such a common sight for us in the flower markets, and the guy is an average looking one to us, but I’m surprised that many readers actually found him very handsome (he’s decent looking, though not a stunner) wouldn’t give a second look. Funny, we Indian women find the European men soo alluring and sexy and stylish.
Im a stylist myself, and surprised to see that you found style even in the humble attire of the common street guy, everything he’s wearing would have cost him just a 1000 rs. Or even half of that. No jokes !!
