He’s scheduling a meeting with JayZ, then he will go to Met hanging around with a couple of super-models wondering where to go for this weekend…
I’m dreaming too much??

Why Jay Z?
May 13, 2014 at 4:13 pm
Whats wrong with Jay Z? Who wouldn’t want a meeting with Jay Z?

Can you be my boyfriend, please?

This guy is too cool! The cuffed jeans; the black boots; the coat; and the haircut is creating a great Sartorial presentation. Thomas Carlyle would be proud.

Dapper indeed, a true boulevardier me thinks
May 9, 2014 at 10:28 pm
Love the layering. Great jacket.
May 9, 2014 at 11:41 pm
Love the layered jackets..and there is always something else about the black and white pictures!
May 9, 2014 at 11:48 pm
Wait… who thinks to use an overcoat under a dinner jacket?!!! Am I seeing that right?
There are those that follow and then there are those few who leave the beaten path and rarely get lost. In real estate, it’s location, location, location. With style sense it’s confidence, confidence, confidence. Not to be confused with “Look at me, look at me, look at me”… just confidence. He exudes it.

A beautiful man with a wonderful mash-up of styles. Favorite elements for me is hair – just amazing, The turned up jeans and moto boots and finally the short jacket over the longer coat – it all works so perfectly.

At first glance the proportions seem all off, then look again: ahead of his time? No, right in it!
May 10, 2014 at 7:09 am
Seriously enjoying these black and white photos!
He’s got a great eye for detail: The layering… The haircut… It’s all there.

As I’m rolling a picture down, I’m always curious about the choice of shoes and here, it’s perfect. Shoes can make (or not) an outfit.
I’m intrigued by this gentleman’s style : a turtleneck, a long vest and a shorter jacket in lightweight material on cuffed jeans and boots ! I’d love to replicate this outfit with a feminine touch.

Awesome shot and yet I am still not keen on the butcher’s double- jacket.
May 10, 2014 at 10:49 am
How cool is he ? ! :)

Amazing picture as usual!!
May 11, 2014 at 7:39 pm
Sure this must have been said many times, but after following your pictures for a number of years, it seems they are less about fashion than they are about people, or is that the same thing? Beaut

Great layering! The grillage in the backs adds such a nice delicate note.

I think that there is a difference between being elegant and trying to catch someone’s attentions by using clothes in a random way.
I’m Italian from Milan, so maybe a little bit influenced to the city where I live, but I would rather Elegance (the one who is noticed and remembered by not being noticed) than eccentricity. A bespoke suit than layering different clothes with no idea beyond. A well fitted pair of jean instead of those to goofy.
Just my Italian opinion the one I expose daily to my customers in Milan.
May 12, 2014 at 3:17 pm
Different ideas regarding style – nothing wrong with that; it’s what makes for fashion. Not everyone can afford bespoke tailoring and there are those that prefer to infuse their own ideas of dress beyond the abilities and costs of a good tailor. It seems to be the difference between being stylish/elegant and creative/original… both can speak of one’s individuality and preference.

I agree with what you said regarding the difference being stylish/elegant and creative/original.
But talking about tailors, in Milan (and in other cities in Italy too), you can have a bespoke suit for a reasonable price (ok, reasonable, can be the field of another post :-) ) but what I’d like to underline is that the art of Bespoke is a true act of creativity where the customer deals directly with the one who will put into reality his idea.
While taking the measures, you talk with him, and sometimes the tailor reveals you some details of you that you have never notices.
You are the focus and your ideas are the source of what you are going to wear.
There are unlimited way to define your suit/blazer or trousers.
I think that this is creativity too.
Thank you very much for the interesting post!

Sweet pic…I bet his name is probably something like “T-Bone” or “Flack” — a cool short handle.
