I agree! I want a dashiki. Love his colors and his movement in this picture.

He seems a character from fast and Furious. Love the shoot. The position and even the outfits, it contains everything!

“Pattern Man comes to your rescue!” Nice!

Longboard style. I love the mixture of patterns and colors. This is youth!

The colors found in the door, the doorstep, the wall, the curb, and the wheels… all found in the clothing. Amazing juxtaposition!!!

Where do I start? The magenta headphones, brown LA Dodgers hat, the dashiki/kitenge top, the camos? The skateboard! Oh everything is so wonderful here. Shows how much more interesting personal and individual style is than following trends. Also hints at the depth of possibility of menswear. Color, texture, attitude! Love it.

Another FANTASTIC image & killer inspiration for the day ahead. Merci beaucoup from Toronto.

This gives me a feeling of slow motion, maybe because of the not so blurred background. Great photo.

Love your New York pictures
Sometimes I take pictures of people with my phone in secret. How do you do it. You go to them and ask if you take their picture ?

Awesome shot. Love the colors.

If he were fifteen I would say hurrah. But I tire of 35- and 40-year-olds out in traffic on skateboards. I see it as the infantilization of men.
But he does look nice.

ageism in fashion? how shocking.
but get real for a second.
our generation does not define ourselves the way you did.
he is 15.
he is 12.
he is 7.
he is an infant.
in fact, he is ageless.
he is a spirit being having a physical experience.
and you? you sound like you have let decay seep into your consciousness.
you have let age win over your body.
you are trapped in the matrix and you dont even know it.
our skateboards represent time travel.
get on our level, son.
you’ll like the view.

Uhh… yeah, skateboards and Zen are great but I think M. was venting probably due to a broken side mirror, and I don’t blame him.

- too “many” of a good thing.
- one or two of these things at at time would have been fine.
- are those earphones or sound baffle? that outfit is loud!
couldn’t decide….like that outfit!

Yes! The outfit is great (love the top), but it’s that gorgeous snake-arm position that makes the photo sing.

His look is cool!

This picture speaks true that New York is such a liberating concrete jungle.

Longboards are the least fashionable thing.
