I like the first one better, but I’m not sure I would go for this trend. The girls is a Jessica Biel doppelganger!

Today I bring you an outfit inspired by last Hedi Slimane’s collection…with Punk/Rock touch!

Floral coats are beautiful! I like the fact that floral prints and embroidery are almost everywhere this spring!

Yes, they certainly are. They are beautiful. But the truth is embroidered everything is a trend. They embroider shirts, shoes, pants everything now. I like it.

They’re both wearing it so well! Great coats!

Glad to see you feature these…I feel they are also perfectly appropriate for Spring. I just wore a linen version the other day over jeans :) Obviously, I’m in Florida, but it was the perfect topper for a chilly South Florida day!

Never thought about floral patterns until now. A great transition from my winter ravaged goose filled coat to a chic floral one for spring.

It is the time of year after all for floral wear for women. Roll on the sunshine!

Thinking, dreaming and obsessing over floral embroidered coats! I’m glad Winter is still going strong where I am! http://www.madelienerose.com

Like this trend. Hope it has legs. I can really see it for light spring coats and jackets. It will be interesting to see if this is still around next fall.

Nice to match gloves and scarf, a soft color, it looks beau!

Love the make-up!

They are actually tapestry coats, not embroidered, and they are vintage, mostly from the 60s & 70s. And they don’t cost as much as Prada!

The first one is a tapestry 3/4 coat from Zara, fall/winter 2013. I have it and absolutely adore it. So happy I managed to get one before they sold out. Great with jeans or dressed up for evening………..

I love these coats.

The second coat is a dead ringer for a coat I bought from an antiques store in Bryan, Texas in college. The print, the sleeves, neckline are exactly alike. I call it “Grandma’s Couch Coat” since it looks like a faded old chaise upholstery. Guess it had a sister.

Love the one on the left.
April 1, 2014 at 3:04 am
Both looks good. But I like the second one..the shoes and the hand bag……perfect

I like these coats, expecially the second: it’s so sumptuous, but not excessive. I love those golden glares, in contrast with the foggy weather.

I love a heavy jaquard fabric or embroidered coat. The left coat is Zara (last year) and the other looks vintage, both great. Zara should bring it out again! http://www.thestylelogbook.com

Do you remember where the first photo was taken? She looks like a Romanian singer and I am really curious if I am right :-)
