He's beautiful. That turned out jacket is sublime.
February 22, 2010 at 2:21 pm
i love that glases
a little bit of 80's androgyny
February 22, 2010 at 2:22 pm
OMG… I WANT that coat!! What brand is it?
February 22, 2010 at 2:23 pm
very handsome, love the look. OT, but why does it seem half if not more of the persons photographed are smoking?
don't like the cigarette though.
Hook The Look
February 22, 2010 at 2:26 pm
I wish I was on Park ave!
Yeah, what brand is that coat!?
February 22, 2010 at 2:30 pm
Only youth can make a cigarette look so good.
February 22, 2010 at 2:31 pm
the collar and the lining of that coat are just wonderful
February 22, 2010 at 2:32 pm
I have those very shades. I'm digging the militant-inspired coat.
February 22, 2010 at 2:33 pm
I second the denunciation re: people smoking in too many photos.Great coat – and nice almost John Mayer pre-fall-off-deep-end look.
February 22, 2010 at 2:42 pm
It's perfect in every way. Like the hair style, the bag and the jeans…
February 22, 2010 at 2:49 pm
The coat is phenomenal.love the layers.
One question…does he have a sweater tied around his waist? Can't quite understand the black portion between the pant legs…
February 22, 2010 at 2:53 pm
woooooow, i just adore the coat.
February 22, 2010 at 2:54 pm
WHICH BRAND IS THE COAT FROM? I LOVE IT
February 22, 2010 at 2:55 pm
He looks dashing:D
February 22, 2010 at 2:59 pm
Great Coat and what a great Quiff! Nice to see you around in London Scott!

February 22, 2010 at 3:03 pm
Love the sunglasses..But.. too much pose, no?
Great looking young man. Wow, can he really put it all together. Once again, I have to tell you how much I love mixing separates to come up with a fantastic look. A suit, although great and sometimes necessary, can sometimes be so boring! Separates are where it's at!
wow, this is amazing. the jacket, sunglasses, the layering, the sweater tied around the waist, the leather strap from his bag…and the beautiful hair. he is sooo beautiful, i want him to make love to me. he can smoke afterwards.
February 22, 2010 at 3:08 pm
Love this photo, very 60s… yes, people are smoking, it's a street shot, not a retouched, artificial, censored propaganda.
February 22, 2010 at 3:10 pm
Possibly one of your best shots
February 22, 2010 at 3:11 pm
Good look, except that cigarettes are for losers (and it wrecks the complexion).
February 22, 2010 at 3:14 pm
Metrosex, cool energy, more style than fashion…I just love it.
Take a look at my site, if you have a few minutes – MrS
February 22, 2010 at 3:16 pm
Looks so Cruel Intentions to me… Love it!
February 22, 2010 at 3:20 pm
So sleek – and still warm. Love how the white shirt shows.
February 22, 2010 at 3:22 pm
Loves your pics, love your book…
February 22, 2010 at 3:23 pm
ahh I am swooning for such tousled perfection
February 22, 2010 at 3:26 pm
Re: smoking. People smoke. You can't get secondhand smoke through the internets, so relax.
February 22, 2010 at 3:35 pm
When you're that great-looking you can wear ANYTHING.
February 22, 2010 at 3:36 pm
How calm cool and collective with half his lapel up.
February 22, 2010 at 3:38 pm
I love his look! It's perfect

February 22, 2010 at 3:42 pm

February 22, 2010 at 3:44 pm

February 22, 2010 at 3:53 pm
Ah, so chic!
February 22, 2010 at 4:00 pm
Love the jacket and the 80's vibe!
February 22, 2010 at 4:01 pm
I find it strange how people in the comments dislike the fact that he smokes. I think it's realy cultural. I mean, it's realy his problem if he smokes or not, I don't see how it can be judged. And in his case, it doesn't make him look like an old hooker, but gives him a nice countenance. The jaket is beautifull. Bravo, nice portait again. Like the one below (red haired girl), I love it.
It was warmer in Paris today, I see that it seems to be the same in NY. Enfin, le printemps qui arrive !
the look is andrew mccarthy circa 1985- a very st elmo's fire, less than zero vibe….
February 22, 2010 at 4:09 pm
What a beautiful sensual guy. That coat is perfect, so is the man bag, the peek of his white shirt below the gray pullover, the jeans, the sunglasses. He would be practically antiseptic with perfection, therefor only in this case *fortunately* he smokes. Ha!
February 22, 2010 at 4:10 pm
I like him. He sure has got an attitude. Underneath the coat the white shirt and grey combination is really really elegant.
February 22, 2010 at 4:12 pm
He seems so at ease , like it natural to look that amazing aha i started my own blog recently ! check it out !

February 22, 2010 at 4:30 pm
When I saw this picture I thought about sweet & cute song The Fratelis – Whistle for the choir :)
"You're so sweet to try, oh my, you caught my eyeA girl (boy) like you's just irresistible"
…and coat is excellent, especially a colour, my favourite.
February 22, 2010 at 4:31 pm
Yes, the hair, yes, the jacket, yes! Thank You.
February 22, 2010 at 4:35 pm
Ah the way the light hits this photograph is beautiful.

February 22, 2010 at 4:42 pm
Oooh I really like this look. He's also very attractive XD I like his beauty mark.
February 22, 2010 at 4:48 pm
natural coolness. sometimes styling feels forced, but with him it feels like no effort at all.
February 22, 2010 at 4:50 pm
Liiindo, com atitude!!Great guy, great pic…
February 22, 2010 at 5:15 pm
The jacket is beautiful, i love the inner fur and all the layering. Great style. The beauty spot on his lip makes it!
February 22, 2010 at 5:16 pm
Love everything! =)
February 22, 2010 at 5:22 pm
love the sunglasses and coat….very nice photo.
February 22, 2010 at 5:31 pm
I love the effortless elegance of the outfit. This guy is not trying too hard and manages to be pure hotness!

February 22, 2010 at 5:36 pm

February 22, 2010 at 5:38 pm
That´s the style I love! My favourite sunclass is way fair! Love it!
February 22, 2010 at 6:01 pm
what a stylish man, the jacket is a winner, I want one.
February 22, 2010 at 6:04 pm
Reminds me of an early-mid 80s Woody Allen character that got away. Le sigh.
February 22, 2010 at 6:06 pm
Love the look. Too bad it all smells of cigarette smoke.
February 22, 2010 at 6:29 pm
I would like to know why so many of your wonderful, stupendous, beautiful photos are of young people holding a lit ciggaret? Where I live in Colorado, one never, I mean never sees a person lighting up. Is it that different elsewhere? Just wondering. As an ex-smoker, of course.
He's one sexy young man. He's got it all put together, I love his look. New Yorkers are so cool in the way that they brave the cold weather. Just because you're cold doesn't mean you can't look great!
Soft Rock Star
February 22, 2010 at 6:39 pm
Perfect green for spring!!!!
February 22, 2010 at 6:47 pm
February 22, 2010 at 6:58 pm
i know it won't make sense, cos i love the glasses but i wish i could see his eyes. LOLS
February 22, 2010 at 7:00 pm
Fantastic!!! I have left that look for denim & tees in Arizona.
February 22, 2010 at 7:01 pm
February 22, 2010 at 7:08 pm
Enough of the judgment about smoking. Let's just enjoy the fabulous photographs we can see of people who are able to dress with style, originality, humor and confidence.
February 22, 2010 at 7:31 pm
It's Holden Caulfied if you dropped him in the 80's. I bet he thinks we're all a bunch of phoney morons.
"In my mind, I'm probably the biggest sex maniac you ever saw."
This kid kills me!
February 22, 2010 at 7:36 pm
Please keep photographing on Park!
The photos always come out beautiful; and more often than not, there are so many people who really know how to dress.
Loved the last photo of Marina Rust.
And, if you really hang around Park, and around Madison and 5th, you'll get all the teenagers coming home from school.
And, really, those are the most stylish New Yorkers I've ever met :)
February 22, 2010 at 7:46 pm
Long live the heartthrob! This is such a good look.
Re: Mountain Thyme- yes, Colorado is a rare pocket of non-smokers, compared to the rest of the country.
February 22, 2010 at 7:57 pm
The way he presents himself in this picture makes me want to know him. His birthmark below his lip also gives him a natural beauty. Love it.
February 22, 2010 at 8:14 pm
Quite a breeze from the look of it. Fella is sharp.
February 22, 2010 at 9:05 pm
Liked this gentleman's look. The glasses with the haircut give him a sense of Mad Men Hollywood style. Diggin' it!
Best regards,Reynolds Still
February 22, 2010 at 9:45 pm
what a babe. and that COAT.
February 22, 2010 at 9:59 pm
This is a great look. Love the glasses and the collar of the jacket. http://www.twitter.com/84e
Lovely Little La La Land
February 22, 2010 at 10:49 pm
this is an ATTRACTIVE man.
February 22, 2010 at 11:44 pm
I always thought denouncing smoking was lame, then last week my father is diagnosed with cancer. This is 100% the result of smoking, and its terrible. horrible. He is full of regret now. Obviously, this gentleman is super cool, but the Perez Hilton inside of me wants to scribble on this photo: "Death stick. Lame. Gross."
February 23, 2010 at 12:06 am
February 23, 2010 at 12:12 am
"I mean, it's realy his problem if he smokes or not, I don't see how it can be judged."
For goodness' sake, we're judging how people knot their scarf, or match their socks to their pocket handkerchiefs. Of course, we can judge his smoking.
Me: thumbs down on the cigarette. Not a good accessory. And all that smoke smell in the fur. Yuck.
February 23, 2010 at 2:11 am
this boy looks just like a jonas brother. he's still adorable though and i love that jacket.
February 23, 2010 at 2:31 am
love his iconic raybans
February 23, 2010 at 4:48 am
Nonchalant chic,I love the jacket~~
February 23, 2010 at 5:20 am
February 23, 2010 at 5:37 am
Love this one!!!
February 23, 2010 at 8:04 am
Yeah, what's with the menthol cigarette? Youth these days…
Personally I feel that a cigar would have captured a far more sophisticated moment. A pipe… now, a pipe would have been perfection.
The hell with cancer and rusting away to old age. Live fast, die young and make a beautiful corpse rather than a shriveled one rotting away in a home.
February 23, 2010 at 8:06 am
He's beautiful/handsome. Androgynous in the tradition of young Wayne Newton and k.d. lang. As mesmerized as I am by his face, I am more so by that beautiful hand of his and the elegant way he's holding the cigarette. Very alluring. You really know how to make the light work for you. The backlight through his hair and glancing off his shoulders bring him forward nicely from the soft focus background. Love that the pops of color don't have to come from the subject but can come from the background. Another photograph for the ages. I'm getting your book today. This is food for my head.
February 23, 2010 at 8:53 am
classic meets rock´n roll … great mix. I wonder if he is also a bit classic and a bit rock´n roll?
February 23, 2010 at 9:16 am
He looks so charming.I could marry a guy like this.
February 23, 2010 at 10:23 am
I'm thinking this is Mark Ronson?…
definately has his look – love the glasses and just all the perfectly in keeping green/brown tones
the cigarette just adds to the decadent style!
check out my blog!
February 23, 2010 at 10:37 am
I loved all about him including his cigarette…Yes, it's cultural.
I grow up around smokers and it never bothered me and I don't smoke. Let people eat oreos, let people smoke, let people drink soda…adults should act like adults. Freedom of being is in need in this country!
February 23, 2010 at 11:15 am
like in movie "Breacfast at Tiffany's"
February 23, 2010 at 11:30 am
Rayban wayfarers- they add a touch of mystery and cool to this photo.
February 23, 2010 at 12:16 pm
wow… that's a MAN!
February 23, 2010 at 12:33 pm
Very, very nice.
February 23, 2010 at 3:40 pm
Plenty of people smoke. It is cultural, it is part of a look. I don't mind that people smoke; I don't mind that he smokes. What I am saying is that, in general, I would like to see fewer photos of people smoking. Not none. Just fewer. (And I don't mean just on the sartorialist – I do mean generally.)
Last but not least, it's ongoing – I don't always get what I want (that is, unless this guy has my number?)
Ocean in Between
February 23, 2010 at 3:54 pm
*sigh* I think I'm in love! :D awesome style!
February 23, 2010 at 4:31 pm
February 23, 2010 at 4:45 pm
We're here to analyze his clothes, not what he chooses to incorporate in his lifestyle, such as smoking. I can't stand it when people jump on smokers, CANCER STICK CANCER STICK! Eesh.
With that being said he looks like Mark Ronson's twin, love the coat and hair, really chic.
February 23, 2010 at 5:59 pm
He looks good, and he knows it, good for him I say…………………………………………….ivestiti.blogspot.com
February 23, 2010 at 7:22 pm
Perfection. Je l'aime.
February 24, 2010 at 1:47 am
How attractive he is. Seems so Holden Caulfield to me with that devil-may-care air and naturally preppy look.
February 24, 2010 at 7:09 am
Layers are my fetish :) I love the wya he uses them together with color's palette and his noble beauty
February 24, 2010 at 9:05 am
Looks like Luigi Tadini. If not, you should really try to catch him on the street. I've never seen a picture of him looking anything other than fabulous. Great style. And he's got a beautiful face.
February 24, 2010 at 9:19 am
Very Holden Caulfield.
My first thought when i saw this photo too!

Does anyone know where I could find that coat?
February 26, 2010 at 6:29 am
Reminds me of Mad Men. Love it!
February 26, 2010 at 7:57 am
indeed the look its fantastic, but i resent one of the comments above which describes smoking as "cultural".such an ignorant comment. there is nothing sexy, stylish or devil-may-care about lungs that have been distorted and blackened. and most likely, smoking will eventually lead to his death. i hate to be morbid, but my gos is smoking stupid.
March 3, 2010 at 2:38 pm
March 15, 2010 at 7:06 pm
Are my eyes or his legs messed up? Looks like he`s wearing the jeans outside his legs… especially the left one. now I wont be able to sleep. ghah! BUT apart from that he is smashing
April 11, 2010 at 12:36 pm
It' s Luigi Tadini. I've seen this dude in Tommy Ton's Street Style photos, on GQ.com.
