Wont call it groundbreaking. Interesting. Perhaps, its just me, but it doesn’t seem like Dior. It looks modern but lose some charm

I would absolutely have to agree with this comment. I still don’t fully understand why LVMH appointed Raf as the creative director of Dior abut after this show I am starting to understand where he is taking the house. It would be a lie to say that this collection is rubbish and not true to the DNA of Dior because Raf has taken so many codes of the house and fused them with his own personality and aesthetic. I still think the balance is tipped slightly towards this being more Raf than Dior but He certainly has created some beautiful things here… apart from those shoes! What are they thinking? That footwear is nothing but an attention-seeking disaster!

Simons is presenting a lot of lovely and fresh, new feeling designs. The layering is simple, stylish, and looks both beautiful and comfortably easy.

Among today’s top designers, his creations make me think about what’s possible in dressing for both women and men.

    I love Dior.
No, I’m obsessed with Dior. If I were to pick a brand that best describes me it would be Dior.

    But – – -

Their Fall/Winter 2014 collection that just showed at the 2014 Paris fashion week was SO lacking.

I can’t understand why they would create such HIDEOUS shoes. WHAT WERE THEY THINKING.

Make it stop! This just makes me angry. C’mon Dior!

I find the first look and the green dress very lovely. The pink top-red skirt ensemble is intriguing… a nifty play on the New Look.

Don’t mind the orange coat with short sleeves but I would not wear any of the others, even if I could afford it. I loved Dior a couple of years ago but it’s looking overdone like so many other houses
