Beautiful photo! Love the scarf over the coat, it is beautiful and it must be warmer!

Wow! la première chose qui m’a frappé sur la 1ère photo est la différence de couleur entre le visage et la main de la femme, beaucoup plus subtil sur la 2nde photo.

#2 : Beautiful gold details on navy blue and I love the tortoise shell-like frame.

Love the smile on the first woman!

The lady in the first picture looks sort of unwell. Her smile seems to say: “don’t worry about me, I’ll get better,” but deep inside she knows that it is not going to happen.
Love the sunglasses of the lady in the second picture.
As to the lady in the third picture: her shoes look awful and affect negatively the way the coat looks. The scarf is nice, but it does not go well with the coat, the shoes and the weather. And it is not the kind of scarf you wear on top of a heavy coat. Just wrong.

Regarding your first comment, I do not think you can deduct something like that just from a picture and even if you think that is the truth behind a simle, I do not think is nice to say somethink like that in a blog.
February 21, 2014 at 3:40 pm
One can deduct so many things from a photograph; never underestimate its power. The fact that you can not “deduct something like that just from a picture” does not necessarily mean that I can’t either. I could and I did. I saw the smile of an unwell woman, you saw my post.
We are not supposed to write exclusively “nice” comments and I have no intention to censor my own thoughts for the sake of being “nice” to the subject of a photograph. Last but not least: keep in mind that this blog has a moderator who decides what comment is or is not appropriate for this blog.

Certainly one can interpretate certain things from a photograph but deducing that someone`s life is doomed (as you did) its a bit of a long shot… dont you think? I get the impression that you have a personal issue with this girl which I didn´t know who she was when I made my first comment.
Of course these blogs are not meant to contain only “nice” comments but its different when you issue an opinión on someone´s dress or haircut than when you make a statement like the one you did.
Let´s think for a minute that the person in question is really going through a truly dark moment in her life and reads a comment like yours. Do you think that would be innocuous? i think one should weigh the weight of our words as God knows they can be quite harmful.
I agree that the moderator did well in publishing your comment as it allowed this issue to be publicly discussed.

What?!? Are you a psychic or something? Her smile looks like a friendly “hello” smile, and she looks happy and healthy. You should be careful in thinking your unbiased guess work is some solid fact. I am looking at her, and I am seeing a healthy happy energetic woman. Which is good, because if this woman really was unhappy, then your words would have hurt her.
Since you are such a fan of uncensored thought let me tell you that you are a in desperate need of learning empathy. No one as uncaring of other human beings as you are could possibly be all that good at reading peoples thoughts.

Oh, Milan… I admire women on second photo! I think she’s very elegant and fab

That smile! Is it weird that I’m already waiting for the Gucci AW14 campaign? Mert and Marcus’ film for S/S is just to die for: http://fashiontube.com/Videos/Gucci_SpringSummer_2014_/89e76150-00a4-48e5-b28d-18ff3d9db166/

Second picture is gorgeous, even though they’re smoking. x

I can’t imagine being out in damp weather without a hat on to keep my hair from going mad. I’m so jealous. And good to see someone else who wears sunglasses in the rain .. I never leave home without them. Love the pics.

really so nice pics and that first girl looks so nice. Great smile. xa

It is what it is…. But the smoking is soooooo non glamorous to me. Chic it’s not.
February 23, 2014 at 7:33 pm
i see lots of people complimenting that first smile, but i feel it very fake and it leaves a strongly uneasy feeling inside me :((
February 24, 2014 at 5:12 am
These are beautiful portraits. But please do not post photographs that glamorize smoking, as the second image most certainly does.
February 25, 2014 at 9:45 pm
People thinking they can tell others what to do is a far more dangerous habit then smoking. Beautiful photos, such soulful expressions, i especially lie the top picture she looks to have such depth. I love the last picture too for the Russian scarf.

The scarf is beautiful, but in Portugal there are also gorgeous scarfs from Viana do Castelo, take a look!

The third portrait looks beautiful, classical , modern with personal style, i like it
