i love the soft fuzzy texture of the sweater against the smoothness of the coat.
colour palette is amazing, too, and i enjoy the interesting sleeve lengths.
Love this so much, the little girl in the back is adorable.
I love her watch! The sweater is amazing. Also, the little girl in the background looks adorable. This is great. It seems so busy in the background but she looks completely at ease.

Hello! Is that me? Kidding, but I look like her.
Oh, I want that Oivia P. look of London!
February 25, 2010 at 5:19 pm
cute pink beret/blue coat in the background too.
Second thoughts! I wouldn't go wearing this sweater underneath and I'll probably choose a different tone of colors as well.

looks so secure! =D
February 25, 2010 at 5:31 pm
Love the rainbow of colors in her sweater. It gives her so many options on what to wear with it.
Wish it was cold enough here in the OC to wear layers.
She's so cute.

February 25, 2010 at 6:06 pm
That sweater looks great… and what an unusual colour for a lipstick!
February 25, 2010 at 6:26 pm
The best thing for me is the voluminousness of sweater and coat (reminiscent of the 80s), vs. the tight jeans/lean legs. The little kid gawping in the background is indeed cute in her red beret. This was at Covent Garden, no? And the guy with the fur under-layer too, I think! :-)
February 25, 2010 at 6:27 pm
this picture is so lovely

i love the lighting, the red, the hair; simply everything.
Gosh, what a lovely stripe/ombre sweater! I love her dark berry lipstick and simple accessories. But what I really want to know is who that adorable little girl with the red beret cap in the background is? She looks like she's dressed just right for the occassion!
February 25, 2010 at 7:06 pm
Love her coat.
February 25, 2010 at 7:07 pm

She is fantastic! The watch on her right hand (as opposed to the left) is so quirky, I like it!The colour combinations are perfection and her unpolished hair is so personable.

I want the sweater. Super cool.
February 25, 2010 at 7:55 pm
She's quite lovely, but I'd rather see a photo of the girl in the background.
February 25, 2010 at 7:58 pm
So pretty. So understated in such a good way.
February 25, 2010 at 8:03 pm
Wow, these London shots have been incredible Scott!I love her use of colors and layers. The heavier sweater in luscious colors underneath the 3/4 length sleeve coat, the cashmere scarf, the color of her hair and lipstick choice. She is wonderful, very pretty.
February 25, 2010 at 8:30 pm
i love her red lipstick and coat. so lovely the girl wearing!
Love it all. Effortless beauty. I really love the bag, anybody know what it is?
The little girl in the background needs her own picture. Looks like a cutie.
February 25, 2010 at 8:54 pm
Gorge!Lets bring back the berrie stained lips of the 90's. I always rocked them in high school!

How did you get that little girl in the back? MAKES the shot.
February 26, 2010 at 12:18 am
It's sort of strange to think…how beautiful that sweater is. Perhaps it's the rainbow. Or maybe it's her. So easy on the eyes.
February 26, 2010 at 12:22 am
Her hair color is amazing. Her look is well put together. She = cozy, comfy and confident.
February 26, 2010 at 12:26 am
Gorgeous!! Love the whole look. And especially her lip color.
February 26, 2010 at 1:02 am
Does anyone have any idea who/what the bag is?
February 26, 2010 at 2:40 am
I need that bag. Post haste.
February 26, 2010 at 2:56 am
Her expression and body language convey great poise even devoid of style (the latter of which does not hurt, of course). However, she is rivaled as the star of the photograph by the distinguished looking young lady in the background.
February 26, 2010 at 3:02 am
Love her coat and her berry lips
February 26, 2010 at 3:22 am
LOVE the picture!!! and love the colourful sweater with such coat on!The picture is absolutely marvellous!!The picture itself is just great, but what i like the most is the curious girl out of focus!!!

The bag is Mulberry.
February 26, 2010 at 4:40 am
Does this look herald the return of the short short sleeve on coats? I hope not! I just threw away my short sleeve coats… I shall be looking closely at your blog to see whether this trend catches anywhere in the world.
February 26, 2010 at 4:42 am
Her whole outfit is gorgeous, and the bag is the Mulberry Mitzi Tote!
February 26, 2010 at 4:45 am

Yet again another perfect shot. The colours that she uses including her lipstick, eye color, hair color, the scarf everything's just right. And the little girl in the background is genius as well. Great Job!
February 26, 2010 at 7:50 pm
I don't like the buttons on the jacket. I think they almost cheapen the look.
Adore the rainbow pull-over and her lips!

February 26, 2010 at 9:20 pm
Isn't she Liv Tyler??
February 26, 2010 at 9:33 pm
I can't explain it, but this is one of my favourite pics ever on your blog. I think it's because she looks so friendly, fuzzy and warm. Perhaps you could try more smiling people on your blog. :) My one objection: the purple lipstick. Always makes people look hypothermic, in my opinion. I know that she's aiming to blend with the sweater but I don't like it. Great coat and scarf over the sweater though…
February 27, 2010 at 12:22 am
Ohhhhh my gosh I <3 <3 <3 everything from her hair, lipcolor, sweater, and jaceket. EVERYTHING. Must micmick now….or a MuseElle version at least.
February 27, 2010 at 4:41 am
I love everything about her, but especially her scruffy fringe and the way her sleeves are longer than her jacket (and the adorable little girl in the pink beret behind her)

Great look! Cute woman!
February 27, 2010 at 9:43 am
I remember that she wore cut off denim board shorts in a photo taken some months ago. She seems to like things cut short like her sleeves on this occasion. She displays her signature facial expression that frankly is neither here nor there. Difficult if not impossible to interpret her expression.

love the contrast between the simplicity of the coat and the fuzziness of the sweater. The color is sorta great too.
February 27, 2010 at 7:00 pm
Covent Garden, lovely place to while away a London afternoon. Sexy woman, maybe a little too much makeup but has a pretty face and great style so she pulls it off. Love the sunglasses tucked in to the jumper. Not often you get to wear sunnies in London!

Gorgeous – I love the volumes on top with the skinny jeans, the watch, her lipstick, her ring…this is a lady who is wearing her clothes, rather than wearing a 'look' and she looks all the more beautiful for it!

I just love, love, love this picture, one of my all time faves. The background of Covent Garden, her clothes all work so well together, the understated accessories – watch, sunglasses and the Mulberry handbag is gorgeous. The lady is so pretty with the berry lips and cute fringe. And not to forget of course the little girl with the red beret. This picture is a joy!
