Everything is amazing, the jackets, the cuts, the colors, the prints! Love Proenza Schouler even more!
February 14, 2014 at 8:57 am
One of my favorite designers!

Beautiful sculptures. Would love to feel them, and get to know the texture of these materials!
What’s even more interesting though are the faces and expressions of the audience. Speaking volumes. All those critical greedy arrogant looks… is the fashion gang really like that, when they are unguarded and aren’t just about to pose for a streetstyle photographer?

Great patterns. x

Visualize these outfits done in a size 12 some where in SoHo…
February 15, 2014 at 4:57 pm
I think that oversize is good for all sizes of ladies. The whole idea that if you aren’t teeny you need to stay tailored is really far less true then we are sold. I have seen it work with my own eyes. People just should use own eyes and judgement.

Hum…I don’t really like those shapes. Seems like Proenza Schouler has become Proenza Shoulder. Ah ah ah

the silhouette is startlingly new and fresh but vaguely familiar, just a hint of the dior A line…the bold prints and color scheme has a drop of the 90′s
February 14, 2014 at 12:27 pm
Can definitely spot the Dior influences in the collection but there is a little something that speaks KENZO in this collection as well!

The first jacket is really cool

Very bold collection, definitely not for me. Too much going on.

It is my favourite New York collection! The way they mix textures and prints is incredible! It makes me dreaming of my own variations and colors.

The green and patterns are amazing! x

Jack and Lazaro, you boys slay me. Can we also take a minute to appreciate the SS14 campaign? Thanks.
February 14, 2014 at 4:49 pm
Beautiful & reminds me of Dries ……
I thought I read somewhere that their SS14 campaign took place in the beautiful Berkshires of Massachusetts.

Jackets with leg o mutton sleeves tapering to small wrists and featuring nipped waists were pioneered be Alaia in the 80s. An homage for sure.
February 15, 2014 at 4:54 pm
I just love those sleeves. Is that where they are from? Not too surprising, the 80′s had such sexy feminine shapes. Thank you for the info. I need to look at that.

Always with great ideas, just like myself.

there is something very awkward and uncomfortable looking about this collection. just not digging it.

Those shoes -to die for!

A few of the individual pieces may be nice, but it’s hard to tell because the color, print, and scale combinations are just god-awful and the individual elements get lost in the cacophony.
February 15, 2014 at 4:53 pm
LOVE the jackets, LOVE the shoes. I am so into the wide sleeves, oversized shoulders, and the hourglass shape just adds to the whole thing. this is the right direction. So far so good. The shoes are the best, and the colors and patterns are pretty and easy to incorporate.
February 15, 2014 at 5:00 pm
It looks so delightfully comfortable. Isn’t it enough with the skin tight pants, and the cropped jacket that looks like it is seven size too small, and if one takes a big breath, it will split down the back?
February 15, 2014 at 9:21 pm
I like the colors!
February 16, 2014 at 9:41 am
Am I the only one that is distracted by the unhappy looks of the models this season?
February 18, 2014 at 6:53 am
These shapes and patterns remind me of the husband-wife designers Jeanne-Marc, who had a shop in San Francisco for years, 70′s through the 90′s. Their clothes were made in San Francisco. Also April Greiman, an LA designer; hot in the 80′s, still making things. I like!
February 19, 2014 at 5:00 am
green and blue jacket and dress are very MARNI. look like a print from a few season ago..
February 19, 2014 at 8:03 am
What’s the brand of the shoes?
March 6, 2014 at 6:46 pm
