February 27, 2010 at 9:15 pm
Sorry, but reminds me of my first visit to New York one chilly March, dressed completely inappropriately for the weather and the city. Luckily no one could immortalize it on a blog back then. But she looks so much cuter than I did!
February 27, 2010 at 9:18 pm
How funny, I just saw an old picture of Veronica Lake today and she was wearing shoes just like these! She was even wearing a long coat in the pic too!
February 27, 2010 at 9:21 pm
This is so beautiful. Capturing an instant so wonderfully. When the crowd parts and the wind sweapt her up!

I love her shoes!
February 27, 2010 at 9:56 pm

Aside from the fantastic shoes, you're right about 'In The Crowd'…she would just be another cute blonde with a great smile.
Is that my sister?! Kidding.
The Fashion Seen
Brilliant! The best way to capture one of the most simple, yet classic of creatures in a sea of fashionable birds. Great candid photo!

It's a brave woman who wears Chanel booties in NY in the winter – and I love her all the more for it! Also love the girl in the khaki pants and brown heels next to her.
Miss B xx
February 28, 2010 at 5:55 am
I was reading the comments about the shoes and just waned to add that they are from Chanel collection spring-summer 2009. I LOVE THEM!!!
February 28, 2010 at 5:56 am
I guess no one has noticed she looks familiar? I am sure I have seen her on your blog before. I believe she wore more colour then, but who needs colour when you have a smile like that! :)
February 28, 2010 at 6:05 am
If not for the outfit, she stands out for her smile! Lovely
February 28, 2010 at 6:13 am
I found her on your blog now, from Nov 9, 2009. :) She had no color besides the nails but great presence – that's why I remembered her. Some people have that distinctiveness, no matter whether in heels or flats. I would love to see more of her if opportunity arises.
February 28, 2010 at 6:23 am
In Canada, we call open toed shoes in the snow just another saturday night. I love them though, does anybody know who makes them? I'm dying to know, I'll snap them up in a nano second. Beautiful girl!
February 28, 2010 at 7:18 am
That smile could warm any man's heart…it certainly sets her apart from the crowd…
February 28, 2010 at 8:24 am

Great SMILE.. !!A Simple Girl.. !!I like it..http://alessiastyle.blogspot.com
February 28, 2010 at 12:12 pm
Let's face it…women wear high heels and ignore the difficulty walking and the discomfort of being thrown forward, so what's a bit of frozen toe added to the mix? The shoes are worn by someone who favors fashion over comfort and the smile says she is happy doing it!
February 28, 2010 at 12:41 pm
Oh what an amazing shot!!!
February 28, 2010 at 6:08 pm
It's been said before, but what a killer smile!

March 1, 2010 at 9:45 am

March 1, 2010 at 12:21 pm

Great trench coat, great outfit for this matter. I love her wonderful smile and lovely blond hair blowing in the freezing wind. Speaking of freezing, how about her ankles and feet! Still, she looks fantastic. She is in a hurry for spring, aren't we all!

i couldn't love this any more — the smile, the trench, the peep toes… it's perfection.
March 2, 2010 at 2:28 pm
this picture really drives home the fact that nothing elevates ones style as much as the joy that radiates from a smile.
oh, and those shoes are the hotness:)
March 3, 2010 at 4:30 am
Looking really cold (open-toe shoes, exposed skin) is really unfashionable…
March 3, 2010 at 12:51 pm
