I’m from Australia. People who surf don’t sell stationary!
December 20, 2013 at 6:37 pm
People who surf take all kinds of menial jobs. Good to know you are from one of about a hundred places where some people surf.

Martine. Just saying

Hmmm…wrong mindset. I have surfed in the arctic circle of Norway right down to the South of Australia and New Zealand. Just yesterday I was wearing a Saturdays Surf T-Shirt. Quite often when we move cities we compromise. NYC is not much of a compromise. One of the greatest cities, and enjoyed surfing Manasquan and Montauk particularly when in the general area. Better après Surf than Tweed Heads or Burleigh Heads…just Saying!

I know a Mavericks (yes, that Mavericks) surfer who actually owns a stationary store in SF with his wife, and I assure you he’s a world-class surfer by any definition. Just saying.

Haha. Late to the game. Sorry y’all. David’s right. Looks staged. Too high concept. Go pull this look off in Kauai bro.

Les photos (et films) en noir et blanc sont ma passion. J’y vois beaucoup plus de nuances que celles (et ceux) en couleurs.

Looking at him makes me miss my long hair…

LOVE this shop and that dude is SO CHILL when he’s back there playing tunes.
December 20, 2013 at 6:48 pm
Very pretty photo. I had no idea that longer, light colored hair on a guy brought out a surfing stereotype so strongly. Learned something new.

Pretty photo, indeed. The surfer comments are not terribly random. I think people are responding to his appearance and the fact that he is working in a surf shop.
Great hair indeed, fab shot!

looks like he’s wondering what all his friends are doing back in Huntington Beach and why the hell did he trust him when he told him he could help him make it as a model in NYC. I mean he said he had CONNECTIONS.

They also serve amazing La Colombe coffee, play jamming tunes, and have a patio–this shop is great!

I don’t know why everyone is thinking “surfer”. I look at this guy and think artist, or writer. beautiful man. love a guy with long hair, always.

Was in the shop this weekend and this guy’s response to something I said about Santa Cruz was “ohh…word?…” With this same blank expression.
