I like his coat and the bag. 3/4 years ago would have been strange a man with a bag but now is so normal.. “progress”!

Yes! Bags for men are finally being accepted! We have stuff to carry, too! I’ve gotten so sick of having my masculinity questioned for the last ten years just because I had to have some way of carrying all the myriad of stuff we need in our modern lives!

That’s a nice scene, and an interesting blend of blue/green tones throughout. http://lordashbury.com

Also love the way those tones are framed & balanced by the bits of reds and oranges… esp the wee flash of orange from the socks!

I really love his coat, and with this green leather bag it is beautiful! Nice shot, the light is great!

It feels like that party in Four Weddings and a Funeral where Hugh Grant says, “I’m overwhelmed to see you!”
Only, he’s better dressed.

Great combo – bag and jacket. Besides I love the name Mulberry Street so much!

Beautiful light as always. You always make me miss NY.
November 27, 2013 at 7:59 pm
The bag, I’m not totally convinced by (maybe because I’m a fan of utility, so wouldn’t he want to wear it slung over his shoulder instead of holding it?), but the green-and-blue plaid trench is lovely!
And.. the combo of plaid and leather is a classic combo – thumbs up there too~

I think her hair is great! Not too much fuss–simply full, rich, and loosely curled. I do think she would look fantastic in some black leather patent shoes, however. His jacket is great. I like the wool…it’s the pattern I am “worn” with seeing. Everybody uses this pattern. It may be traditional, but it has become so overused in my eyes.
November 28, 2013 at 8:33 am
I like his trouser style, likes rolled up!
November 28, 2013 at 8:53 am
Very dapper indeed- Would like to see more guys dressed like this in London;
November 28, 2013 at 8:54 am
Hard proof that you can have a man bag and still look very masculine
November 28, 2013 at 9:19 am
You are real hunter … i love her hair and his bag !

This doesn’t exactly relate to the post but I have a question:
My boyfriend goes to a lot of very formal meetings and conferences and needs a new suit. Both of us have a really minimalistic aesthetic sense (ie. both of our closets consist principally of the colours black, white and grey). How would it be possible for him to wear a black suit and a white shirt without looking like a Bible salesman? Is there a tie, or a certain style or something that is less reminiscent of Mormonism?
If anyone has visual suggestions they would be greatly appreciated.

Leave the name tag off.
Work in some colorful socks.
Use a four-in-hand necktie knot.
Walk alone; missionaries always work in pairs.
November 28, 2013 at 12:04 pm
Oh now we’re talking!! Great coat (pin-point accurate fit) and bag! The shape of the bag is similar to a Billy Reid I own, but I didn’t think they made it in that colour and type of leather. Hmmmm! Like. Lots.
November 28, 2013 at 12:59 pm
Love the plaid!
November 28, 2013 at 1:30 pm

November 30, 2013 at 3:02 am
Hahaha… great catch!!!

November 29, 2013 at 10:22 pm
Its my boss Byron! Featuring his own design; WANT Les Essentiels de la Vie O’Hare bag in leather with the other two WANT bags in tow. Great shot!
December 29, 2013 at 6:02 pm
Any idea where the jacket is from??
November 30, 2013 at 1:23 am
His jacket is average, the bag is nice but too large for a man. His trousers are too short and his shoes are too clunky. Her hair is a nice color, but could use a brush and she needs different shoes. I’m not impressed with this as far as fashion goes. It’s not terrible but not great as well. I’m from a rural, small town but recognize aesthetically pleasing proportions than what is shown.
November 30, 2013 at 5:39 am
Shouldn’t you divulge your plaid coat fetish?
I admit I have a latent proclivity for plaid anything. Recently I am coveting a navy blue and ivory plaid cowboy shirt with square pearl snaps.
November 30, 2013 at 9:59 am
Love how the light makes a kind of plaid on her coat as well. Nice shot!
November 30, 2013 at 11:09 am
Green bag, I love you.
November 30, 2013 at 3:49 pm

December 1, 2013 at 12:51 pm
Very cool photo! I love it!
December 1, 2013 at 1:15 pm
He favors my husband so that immediately caught my eye. Love everything about this (of course, I love the BAG), but what is going on with that container of liquid by the cone? On second thought, I don’t want to know…
December 1, 2013 at 1:19 pm
What’s in the tupperware at the bottom left hand corner – love the jacket and the bag and the lighting but wonder if I should be icked-out by that yellowy substance!
December 1, 2013 at 2:11 pm
I got two of these ‘want les essentiels’ man bags for the missus. One in black and one in maroon. She absolutely loves them. Personally, I wouldn’t be seen out with these leather tote bags, even in here so London town
