The brows are a little bit too bold for my liking. Well everyone wants to look like Cara.

If the anatomical purpose of the human eyebrow is to deflect sweat away from the eyes towards the side of the face, this woman is well equipped!

November 26, 2013 at 9:27 am
Holy s**t the brows!
November 26, 2013 at 9:30 am
Nice picture!!! I love the jacket and hair.
November 26, 2013 at 9:38 am
Beautiful brows.. beautifully androgynous!

I don’t even have that many eyebrows to get that look.
November 26, 2013 at 10:52 am
Classical Persian/Tajik eyebrows! Face framing par excellence.
November 26, 2013 at 11:15 am
cool eyebrow look
November 26, 2013 at 12:11 pm
Nice evening colors! I juswt moved to Berlin, where light in winter is always like this.
November 26, 2013 at 12:19 pm
I hate the brows…
or should I say the once large uni-brow that was carved down the center to birth two very large brows?
HOWEVER, I do have positive things to say as well :) This girl does have a very naturally beautiful face (particularly beautiful lips and cheekbones;) I like her styling – teeshirt, jacket, skirt, tights –
I’m going to go out on a limb here and guess that she is wearing mid-calf black leather motorcycle boots on which there are visible scratches and scuffs from all the ass she has been kicking today.
November 26, 2013 at 12:25 pm
the eyebrows! Is that a boy or a girl..?
November 26, 2013 at 12:27 pm
If you are a female that covert the female this looks good, if you are a male that likes females this looks unapproachable.
November 26, 2013 at 4:36 pm
and would you even be interested in approaching him/her?
April 14, 2014 at 7:19 pm
Certainly more then approaching you, probably. Her personality looks bold and interesting. Yours mean and small.
December 2, 2013 at 11:59 am
I feel that statement is really unfair, why should your grooming choices be linked to your sexual preferences? Where does the notions of fashion and style come into play in this regard? People need to be able to separate the two, I really resent the assumption that having short hair and large eyebrows as a woman automatically means that you “covert the female”. Very narrow minded, especially considering this blog is about ways in which ‘style’ as a choice concept manifests on multiple levels.

Fabulous-looking young woman. I wish she was wearing something very plain and classic. Small sweater, pleated skirt, little booties. But never mind. This seems not to be her thing.
November 26, 2013 at 2:58 pm
hideous! I’m so tired of these “beautifully androgynous” comments.
November 26, 2013 at 4:35 pm
me, too! I wonder, are these people seeing what I’m seeing?! To me, her face is not beautiful. I think if these people saw him/her on the street, they would not think him/her beautiful.
April 14, 2014 at 7:20 pm
Yes, you are tired of people being positive about something. HAHAHA.
November 26, 2013 at 4:55 pm
Hideous??? really? What an unkind word to use to describe anyone’s appearance. I hope you never have to see that word used to describe a photo of you.
November 26, 2013 at 3:40 pm
November 26, 2013 at 4:20 pm
Love her brows! So characteristic
November 26, 2013 at 5:55 pm
To those that don’t like the brows, I think the issue is just that they need more separation in the middle. The proportions leave her face look unbalanced, pull the appearance of the eyes too close together. There is nothing wrong with a very strong brow, but it must play up the other features, not unbalance them.
November 27, 2013 at 12:19 am
Very eloquently stated, Megan. It is difficult to offer constructive criticism as gracefully as you did in your comment above. Kudos.
November 26, 2013 at 6:59 pm
I would love to read the story behind this person. So much expression!
November 26, 2013 at 7:00 pm
I know it’s been said, but the eyebrows are freakin awesome. :)
November 26, 2013 at 7:34 pm
Should I try this haircut?
November 26, 2013 at 7:55 pm
November 26, 2013 at 8:11 pm
Beautiful in every way…
(I’m quite shocked at some of the comments here to this beautiful woman, perhaps if you don’t have anything nice to say don’t bother commenting. This is a human, not a piece of art, television, or cinema to critique. Everyone has different ideal about beauty but negatively expressing these is not nice to read)
November 26, 2013 at 8:35 pm
To me she looks like a female Spock. I imagine she would probably be smart and subtly sarcastic as well.
November 26, 2013 at 9:28 pm
She is the most beautiful woman in all of New York and I’ll fight anyone who says otherwise!
November 26, 2013 at 10:52 pm
Imagine having a conversation just with those eyebrows. Any nuance of angle could determine one’s mortality.
November 26, 2013 at 11:23 pm
too much are just too much.
November 26, 2013 at 11:40 pm
SHE LOOKS LIKE A BEAUTIFUL WOMAN THAT IS MY GIRLFRIEND OKAY SO BACK OFF I DRIVE A PORSCHE

In the 18th century bold mouse fur eye brow patches were the rage for a while. Sadly, most women do not have the right features to carry them. This young woman can. Are hers real or fake? I don’t know, but in her case I suspect they are real.
Being older than many readers I recall how very narrow the typical Ametican definition of female beauty was, and recall the first general market magazine cover with a black woman in the sixties. Should memory serve I want to say that the model’s first name might have been Beverly (last name?) and the magazine Glamour but I would have to check. Yes, even that was consider a huge leap as recently as a half century ago.
Seeing acceptance of many types of beauty widening is itself a beautiful experience.

Its Beverly Johnson, 1974 Vogue Cover
*Also by leaving this comment, it means that you could have googled the above information
November 27, 2013 at 3:38 am
To much “hair” on the face, I mean – she is beautiful, but those eyebrows are too big!
November 27, 2013 at 4:30 am
November 27, 2013 at 6:24 am
This girl is BEAUTIFUL… I think its silly how scared people get of someone who doesn’t fit a mold. She is UNIQUE and BOLD. Not the girl you find shopping at Macy’s or getting her nails done.. And i am thankful for that
November 27, 2013 at 7:20 am
I’m not really sure about the brows, but well, trends change…
November 27, 2013 at 8:01 am
Cool look. Great day.
November 27, 2013 at 8:20 am
A bit too much brow…well, maybe more than just a bit. But…she is hardly hideous! You may not care for her look, but that’s no reason to be so insulting.
And…while she may have an androgynous look, I hardly think it’s pronounced enough that it’s not obvious this is a woman!
November 27, 2013 at 9:10 am
November 27, 2013 at 9:43 pm
Loving the androgynous look. Great shot! :)
November 28, 2013 at 8:28 am
Well that’s a major impact with very little outlay, working with what she’s got – wonderful.
November 28, 2013 at 8:58 am
She doesn’t look androgynous to me. She looks great though.
November 28, 2013 at 11:01 pm
She is a designer for marc jacobs
November 29, 2013 at 12:26 am
The expression on her face is incredible, her face has so much character, and no not just her “brows”. Though I think her brows are also pretty dang great, to anyone who feels the need to try and criticize this single aspect of this young woman… Why?
What in you is so constrained and conformed that you must lash out on those who don’t need to hide behind society’s ideal notions of beauty?
She knows she has large eyebrows and she obviously wants them that way, and has obviously been able to reach a point of growth where she’s no longer in elementary school picking on people for looks
November 29, 2013 at 5:48 am
Love this look. Super thatrical. My first thought was: is that Carey Mulligan in disguise? Similar no? http://www.heatworld.com/Star-Style/2012/02/Yes-that-is-Carey-Mulligan-Drive-star-turns-brunette/

She looks fantastic! What a beautiful girl (and picture)!
November 30, 2013 at 10:27 pm
reading some of the unkind words on this post really saddens me, and yet you choose to post them. when in an earlier comment i intimate that there’s ethnic intolerance involved, that is somehow inappropriate for your site, and it’s not posted. i thought this might be a place for shifting thinking, using alternative images. i’m terribly disappointed in the anti-intellectualism shown here. i thought this site might be different, but it’s not…please reconsider how many negative and narrow-minded observations about other people’s faces you choose to make public.
December 1, 2013 at 5:12 pm
She is stunning and much more interesting than all the super skinny italian ladies together. I wish my brows were a bit richer and more like hers.
Anyhow – it’s surprising how much emotion and disgust a tiny bit of hair on a womans face can create.
December 2, 2013 at 4:01 pm
looks cool :)
December 3, 2013 at 3:51 am
how beautiful. <3
December 8, 2013 at 4:13 pm
Love her look.
Don’t understand the brow focus in the comments above. People have hair on their bodies. Get over it. She has a gorgeous look that piques interest, and it’s why she’s featured while you’re left to pathetically drone on and critique trite details.
December 14, 2013 at 1:57 pm
I keep going back to this shot, I don’t know why. It entrances me. She kind of looks like a futuristic Edie Sedgwick! The official new inspiration for my new haircut and colour.
December 27, 2013 at 3:27 am
her brows are unique and good for her with working them, but they are really difficult to take you’re focus off of lol
