This is Danielle Meder, she does brilliant fashion sketches and is insanely fast at her craft.
November 14, 2013 at 10:17 am
I don’t even know why the combination of prints works so well, but it does, and I want her to teach me her secrets!

I agree, and I love the way you phrased this.
I also love the mix of plaids in her outfit–that’s hard to do well!

Steve Mc Curry is one of my favourite photographer, apart from you, you are so lucky to have been able to work with him! Love this photo!

Me encantan las telas de cuadros ,pero lo que realmente me fascina es la capacidad de adaptación al andamio ,parece que estuviera pensado para el descanso con sitio incluso para
apoyar los pies.

Love the moment and her outfit!
November 14, 2013 at 11:30 pm
What I love most about this image (and it’s quite small, so hopefully I’m not seeing things!) is the spot of bright blue on her thumbnail with the red section on her pen, and the way that together they mirror the colours of the two plaids. Brilliant!

Blu – you are so sharp eyed. I had gotten this manicure because I had a dream that Anna Wintour had told me to:

You should absolutely be so proud of this photo. (Although that may not mean much coming from little ‘ol me). It looks amazing.
November 15, 2013 at 2:28 am
Her outfit is interesting but I really like the way she is sitting there!
November 15, 2013 at 5:41 am
Fantastic combination! So urban and english-like. Love this outfit
November 15, 2013 at 11:06 am
I was so distracted by the beauty of her patterns on patterns as well as the ominous lighting in this shot that I didn’t realize she was sitting on construction equipment.
My favorite thing about New Yorkers is that they are willing to sit on anything.
November 18, 2013 at 12:27 am
Hahahah that’s a hilarious observation about New Yorkers….! How adorable!

This is a great photo and beautiful clothing as well. Love the pattern on the collared, button-up classic shirt. This is a wonderful image to capture!

I really loved the video you linked to with this post. Photography, like writing, is something that requires a lot of practice and time to do really well. And like everything else, the more you do it, the more you realize how much you don’t know.
I love the way both you and Steve Curry explain your intentions when you go to take a photograph. That’s one of the things that makes your work and his work art.
I write a Talking Art column for an online literary magazine and would love to interview you about your work. http://talkingwriting.com/when-blogging-becomes-art
Love her plaid!

there’s just something about a girl with glasses: my heart goes dumb and my mind gets smarter, i try to tell her big words that my breath won’t utter.
