The weirdest looks of the Paris Fashion Week so far :-S
October 3, 2013 at 2:10 pm
Which one? Honestly they seem pretty normal to me, and I am from the midwest! I see sweaters, pants boots, a little bit of bare tummy, but the belly button is not exposed, so its not shocking….do you mean the textured skirt? I would wear that on a regular day, no problem. If you think this is weird looks for fashion week, then you must not have seen most of the other attendees.

1) The guy looks good. The chick is trying way, way, way too hard.
2) Cool outfit. I’ve seen this women a few times … she’s beautiful. I’d love to see her with shorter hair.
3) Outfit is horrible. The photo itself is beautiful; I love her face, unusual eyeshadow caught in the sun, her gentleness.
4) Good capture of two women in cobalt blue. Are midriffs really back?
5) I guess they are. Love the plaid pants and her shoes.

I think this post should be titled “Things fashionistas can wear but everyone else can’t. :)

Goes to show; beautiful, tall and lean can carry off almost anything. Sadly, my corduroy chenille bath mat just does not look so good wrapped around my waist! On another note; what I love about shots #2 & #3 are the shapes of shadow & light.

I’m getting tired of the couple in pic # 1; they are everywhere. They used to seem charming and artful, but now seem to be trying too hard to attract even more attention.
October 3, 2013 at 11:05 am
I feel exactly the same way! It’s my own fault for googling them and finding out they were stylists not poets or beekeepers.
November 1, 2013 at 11:17 am
Who are they?

so many amazing looks! i love how all the looks have muted winter colors, but the looks really stand out and are super unique! that would be so fun to see all the amazing street style around at fashion week in person!
Beautiful photographs! Paris is my best city!

the first couple who you photograph a lot… i’ve never seen them in anything approaching a cohesive style. they always look ill considered.

I like most of these but why is that girl wearing a bath mat?
October 4, 2013 at 5:14 pm
Hahaha… totally agree! It’s also not a good look against such fair skin.
October 6, 2013 at 6:11 am
I believe she is wearing a ‘knitted fur poncho’ as a skirt – unfortunately there is either a cigarette burn or some chocolate on the front! It’s the kind of thing I might have worn with a terrible hang over when I was late leaving the house! x

Franca Sozzani in chitenge :-) Bravo!
October 3, 2013 at 12:50 pm
Franca Sozzani is the editor of Italian Vogue. She always looks sharp.
October 3, 2013 at 2:13 pm
Its great to see fashion week looks like these, which are completely appropriate for everyday people to wear! So inspiring! The black pants, blue jacket, white shirt is just great with a bit of skin peeking out is something I must try.

I’m just amazed that you got Ursina to stop. But…POSE?? I can’t believe my eyes, haha!
October 4, 2013 at 6:46 am
Mrs Sozzani is the best! Love also the grunge look of the girl with tartan trousers.

Must know what brand those plaid pants in the last photo are…they are wonderful! Any ideas?
