I held my breath looking at these photos. SO beautiful Scott, well done (as always)! It feels like I was sitting by the runway, watching the looks go by.
Also loved seeing you shoot a beautiful friend (Grace Mahary – in Photo #9). Yaay Grace!!

This is always the point, where I think fashion might nonetheless be art! Happens again and again when I see collections of Valentino!

Culture Clash, Catholic Nomads? This is one of the most intriguing collections of the season. It seems there are references from all over the place: India, Greece, Egypt, the Netherlands, all of which seem to be topped off with a dose of Catholicism (does anyone else see this in the hair and the necklaces wrapped about the throat?). The accessories are beautiful and perfect for summer and the clothes are divine with all the handiwork and embellishments – Stunning show!

This model makes me think of a Botticelli painting, a true diaphanous beauty.

Valentino is one of my favourite labels at PFW, and the designers are amazing.
I really loved this collection, so elegant, classy and lots of haute couture work.
Best regards from London

Really beautiful fabrics. However, maybe it’s time to move beyond the whole medieval virgin thing.

Love the colors they have used for this collection.
October 2, 2013 at 7:39 am
Horrible…Mr Valentino must be devastated….

I’m so surprised, the colors and prints do not scream spring to me at all, but I love it. the bold prints are great!

That green kind of medieval dress is incredible. It looks like the dress a character of a classic book would wear. Something you will painted in a Museum. I can even picture Isabela I of Castile wearing it! That sober cut and that brilliant colour… I’m speechless.

I’m an architect and really don’t care for putting an “I love this look” sentence under each post, especially cause sometimes the look sucks. But the patterns and colors are so strong and so vivid here, they’re more of a story than a dress. You can actually learn something here.

This may have been my favorite collection from Paris.

I want everything.
Of course, wanting doesn’t mean getting..
October 3, 2013 at 1:56 am
Isn’t this supposed to be a ready-to-wear collection?!
October 3, 2013 at 4:53 am
I really want it on the streets!

My favorite out of all the fashion shows this season! I have been loving the medieval theme ever since D&G last year, and the nomadic twist Valentino did is so beautiful, intricate and unique. In awe

Emerald gown is very regal. Part of me is loving the straight from the 80′s YSL homage to Debbie Harry, because its so fun, and exactly not like this… But a part of me loves this too. I guess that the fun of dressing different day by day.
