Birkenstocks at a milanese fashion show? Are you serious?
September 25, 2013 at 6:18 pm
Love the leather biker!
September 25, 2013 at 7:18 pm
No she’s not. Because Fashion is also supposed to be fun!
September 26, 2013 at 5:59 am
I agree. These are not cool!
September 28, 2013 at 8:36 am
i love the first embroidered outfit and the birckenstocks w/ the pale blue varnish: so cool! :)

Dress in the last picture is gorgeous. What’s the designer or does anybody know where I can find a dress in a similar style?
September 25, 2013 at 4:51 pm
In the last photo I noticed the bracelet at the wrist of the lady with the denim long shirt, at the right side….. Is it the Balenciaga bracelet Garance was talking about in this post? http://www.garancedore.fr/2013/09/05/love-2/
I love it!
I love your photos and the blog is so inspiring…… (Yes, it’s my first comment!)
September 25, 2013 at 4:54 pm
All such amazing looks and creations!
September 25, 2013 at 4:56 pm
What are they looking at?
September 25, 2013 at 4:58 pm
the last one was tiding up her home!
September 25, 2013 at 5:04 pm
On tonend and tan legs with nice nailpolish on, those birkenstocks suddenly look quite sexy. Especially when compared with the white legs in flats quite close to hers.
September 25, 2013 at 6:46 pm
Birkenstocks are NEVER sexy.
September 26, 2013 at 5:45 am
Camo Birkenstocks possibly acceptable otherwise I agreed. (My wife bought me a pair in dark brown to replace a pair of Kurt Geiger minimalist cross overs which died on me and I can’t help thinking I look like a German tourist!)
September 25, 2013 at 5:06 pm
The second portrait is so beautiful, and I wouldn’t have expected those birkentsock with the last outfit, but I like it!
September 25, 2013 at 5:10 pm
So in love with that first photo, amazing print and texture!
September 25, 2013 at 5:22 pm
Flattering looks – I notice the absence of huge tattoos on these women; hopefully that is a new trend – I am tired of the tattoo look – they all look the same, no individuality expressed, in my opinion.
September 25, 2013 at 6:03 pm
Tattoos aren’t about individuality – not these days, where it’s commonplace to have them.
They ARE about self-expression.

THE FIRST AND LAST PICTURE -JUST WOW!!!!!!!!!!! <3
September 25, 2013 at 7:01 pm
That ethnic embroidered matching set is just stunning! I love how the textile has been used with respect to it’s origin & it looks so incredibly elegant & fits into the scene perfectly. By far my winning look.
September 25, 2013 at 8:21 pm
First outfit: I adore it.
September 25, 2013 at 9:40 pm
The first photo has to be my favourite outfit! Its amazing!
September 25, 2013 at 11:36 pm
Super creative looks on all fronts. Love the rolled up sleeves in look #3. A little bit of menswear with a twist of female creativity.
September 25, 2013 at 11:56 pm
(the last picture) It’s an interesting shot, unexpected I’d say. Without more context I won’t criticize her. The dress is pretty.
September 25, 2013 at 11:57 pm
And the first dress is very pretty and original.
September 26, 2013 at 12:12 am
I love the ethnic print in the first outfit. It is so fun and colorful. It reminds me of the textiles I saw in Peru!
September 26, 2013 at 2:37 am
the one with ethnic motives is great, just love it

The last look is amazing!

The blonde lady with the earings is beautiful.
She looks so content but prying at the same time … and her style is classy but again there is something in secrecy …

As thrilled as I am to see how great that woman makes those Birkies look, I have to call out the black bra sticking out from a backless –white– dress. I know that so many young girls wear that fearlessly, but I still find it quite tacky.
September 26, 2013 at 10:10 am
I’m in total agreement with you. The bra spoils the lovely deep curve of the dress back. That dress cries out to display a clear back, not one with underwear showing.
September 26, 2013 at 4:08 am
I find that the first dress is absolutely wonderful. Whose is it? Does anybody know where I can find a dress like this?
September 26, 2013 at 4:44 am
first capture is TOP !

Great pictures! Love this serie! The last one is just amazing!!!
September 26, 2013 at 6:08 am
First 3 pictures – stunning wonderful style. The last one is a horror. That bra, those hair extentions, those birkenstocks…beurk! Some might call it fun, but I say it’s a mess. Especially at the fashion show. The dress would be cute thought if worn differently.
September 26, 2013 at 6:51 am
Seriously applaud the girl in the leather jacket. The woman in the last photo looks insufferable. As if she can’t see that beauty is everywhere and all around us, but only in self-subjugation to regimens and diktats.

Everything in the first photo is just perfect.
This is probably a stupid question but can someone tell me what material is the dress in the last photo made of? Thanks.
September 26, 2013 at 10:42 am
look number one, so pretty…love her mani also.

Love the first embroidered ethnic dress, and the last. I was happy to see the Birkenatocks. Recently I saw a female designer doing a new line for them, but can’t recall the name…
September 26, 2013 at 12:22 pm
I did love the first look, with the little crop top. I too had trouble with the last look, the dress is beautiful, but then, the black bra and the birks.
September 26, 2013 at 12:44 pm
Tjo! The lady in the black leather jacket is ubsolutely stunning!
une chatte grise
September 26, 2013 at 2:07 pm
Love the Birks with the last look. Together with the black bra, they work against the cutesie-pootsie fluffy-pink vibe of the dress and make it look cool and interesting.
September 26, 2013 at 4:31 pm
I love a knitted frock!
September 26, 2013 at 5:15 pm
love the prints on the first outfit!
lovely photos, love the 2nd one especially..
Brilliant photography that lacks real fashion
September 27, 2013 at 2:29 am
Although the leather jacket look is seems bold it doesn’t draw the same sex appeal as a vintage, sexy look of denim. The shiny leather look comes across too confident and gets upstaged by a more fitted, button up look. I suppose fighting the interested fella’s off is proof enough. Fashion rules have taught us not to count on what the fellas think about our fashionable attire. especially when all they deserve is an effort award! While you dress up in Milan he’s undressing his sights on something comfortable.
September 27, 2013 at 8:02 pm
Love the Birki’s – such a european sensibility….
September 28, 2013 at 3:41 am
Not sure I love the last one …
September 28, 2013 at 4:25 am
love all looks!
September 28, 2013 at 5:33 am
Well, I think the birkensotcks and the blue nail polish are the best part of her look – Lucky for her she can carry off that wooly dress but it is truly a hideous as an item of clothing!
September 28, 2013 at 10:18 am
Those Birkies shouldn’t work but they so do. I love them with this dress – strange but true!
September 30, 2013 at 9:06 am
OMG, that leather jacket girl is really pretty. wow.
October 1, 2013 at 4:07 pm
Love the last one. Can you please give more information about the dress? It’s gorgeous!! and the silhouette of the girl just beautiful.
October 2, 2013 at 3:56 pm
LOVE the last photo. The hair is perfect with those shoes. The intentional bump in her hair, showing where there was once a ponytail, paired with the birks…. all anchored with an unexpectedly girly dress? Awesome.
November 27, 2013 at 12:33 am
Loved it until the shoes in the last photo. Birkenstocks aren’t a fashion choice. They’re a sign that you’ve given up.
January 18, 2014 at 3:06 pm
For those who liked the Birkenstock’s girl, I found her: her name is Osiris and she works for Grazia Spain magazine. Here is her instagram account: @osirismartinez. ¡Cutie!

I adore the cloth and the suit of the first photo; I like the gaze and the hair of the second; but I can’t understand the fourth.
