Outer wear at its finest for the weather that’s been happening in London. Fantastic cohesive crew.
September 16, 2013 at 9:05 am
Is it already this cold?!
September 16, 2013 at 9:07 am
Love the men coats, full of british elegance! Even without the title we could figure out that the photo is taken in London!
September 16, 2013 at 9:12 am
That cool there already?
September 16, 2013 at 9:16 am
wow, a lovely picture..)) the style and color of girl’s skirt and car!
September 16, 2013 at 9:18 am
I appreciate the blue plastic umbrella. Moreover, I cannot help but be transported to glorious times when intellect was inevitably tied to dress….
September 16, 2013 at 9:22 am
she’s dressed like it’s somewhat warm out- the men are dressed for winter- strange contrast
September 16, 2013 at 9:27 am
Oh my…. what an awesome shot. The clothes, but moreover the body language. And that little Lavazza cart in the back. And of course the Somerset House, all beautifully arranged. They look totally like in the 40s 50s.

I must recreate her outfit, love all the camel.
September 16, 2013 at 9:35 am
Wow, this is amazing. Love all the different shades of camel. Their stances and body language is fascinating.
September 16, 2013 at 9:37 am
these luxe coats and winter looks are fabulous
September 16, 2013 at 9:45 am
Love the outfit of the girl, her loafers and the skirt are so cool!
September 16, 2013 at 9:46 am
Nice photo, they are all so elegant!
September 16, 2013 at 9:47 am
London fashion week already looks different from NY. What I love about their style is the classic, sophisticated refined looks!
September 16, 2013 at 9:49 am
Very well put-together group…the young lady might have opted for a coat herself considering how the other members of her party are dressed. The camel overcoat of the gentleman with his back to the camera is of particular interest because of its classic construction, it flatters his athletic silhouette very well.
September 16, 2013 at 9:53 am
I love all the camel!
September 16, 2013 at 9:59 am
Very elegant man in coat!
September 16, 2013 at 10:07 am
They went shopping together and now they are discussing where to go on vacation (somewhere cold and windy), or at least that’s what I see when I look at this beautiful picture :)
Love the contrast of the polished looks with that ultra-colourful umbrella, makes it fun.

I love her look; she is completely beautiful.
September 16, 2013 at 2:38 pm
Absolutely! I love her studious look with the sexiness of the camisole beneath.

That’s inspiring how stylish these men are. Somehow this shot reminds me of the Boardwalk Empire scene.

Nice style. Great day.
September 16, 2013 at 11:24 am
Classic London style. Timeless. Perfect photo.
September 16, 2013 at 12:10 pm
What a stylish group of people! They look like they’re from another era. The world needs more people like that!
September 16, 2013 at 12:39 pm
Nice shot. Her skirt is zara’s , just bought it ;)
September 16, 2013 at 12:41 pm
Love this photo! It makes me look forward to cool days of rain and fog (soon to come I hope).
September 16, 2013 at 12:50 pm
Woah, I love her look! It’s amazing how that bustier and sheer top make the skirt very contemporary and modestly sexy.
I love such skirts, but have a hard time figuring out a combination which doesn’t make it look frumpy (and without having to go for skyhigh heels). This is great inspiration, thanks!
September 16, 2013 at 1:01 pm
amazing style, they look so cool!
love camel coat!
September 16, 2013 at 1:03 pm
Lucky girl. They do seem straight out of WWII.
September 16, 2013 at 2:33 pm
haha…great point!! My first thought was that she looked a bit sloppy, but maybe just because she’s standing next to such nicely dressed gentlemen they are upstaging her!
September 16, 2013 at 2:02 pm
A very smart looking bunch of Brits !
September 16, 2013 at 2:20 pm
September 16, 2013 at 3:20 pm
I love camel..all the shades! I think this is a very good picture, love their posture!
September 16, 2013 at 4:25 pm
Beige is the new black?
September 16, 2013 at 8:39 pm
Is beige back?
September 16, 2013 at 9:59 pm
Yes, James. One of the gentlemen is, indeed, returned from the battlefield.
September 17, 2013 at 12:57 am
So british !

September 17, 2013 at 5:01 am
The boys are so well dressed… she could do better.
September 17, 2013 at 11:06 am
The guys in the group look great. I agree, the girl could stand to tweak her look to match the elegance of the gentleman in front of her. Overall a great shot though!
September 17, 2013 at 11:07 am
Wow! It seems so 80s chic love love every look. You dont see much of this in California, I miss the east coast where style is much more prominent. I mean i see preppy, mod, sophistication, a little retro and modern. Love this pic!
September 17, 2013 at 1:02 pm
Beautiful shot! Timeless elegance.
Lovely to see the skirt from Zara I bought recently in the photo :)
September 17, 2013 at 3:07 pm
Agree with Nata, “Timeless”. Change the plastic umbrella to traditional, convert photo to black and white print and you have an image from the late 50′s, early 60′s.
September 18, 2013 at 1:29 pm
It has that vibe to it, but there are details that are out of place for that era, for instance the man wearing the combat jacket and jeans that would not have happened in that era. Only minor things different but to me the mark it out as modern.
The slow pace
September 18, 2013 at 8:36 am
Well, that’s Autumn, isn’t it?
September 18, 2013 at 9:17 am
Already in coats? And as usuall, bloody British women aren’t cold…
September 18, 2013 at 9:25 am
This is why I love London!
September 18, 2013 at 12:26 pm
I hate to disillusion the many American admirers of this photo. It’s a stunning shot and I love it too. But to an Englishman it’s blindingly obvious that the dramatis personae are members of London’s enormous ex pat community – probably Italian, French or anyway Mediterranean. I guess that’s why the men are in coats. Englishmen would not be at that stage quite yet.
September 19, 2013 at 10:50 am
I know them and they are all English.
September 20, 2013 at 10:00 am
lol, yes, they are all english; seems odd to suggest that a true ‘englishman’ has a specific date upon which they decide to wear their coats. it was cold, ergo, coats. perhaps worth taking this as a lesson in approaching photographs with a less judgemental eye.
September 19, 2013 at 10:28 am
Great look, where are shoes from?
September 27, 2013 at 11:57 am
When I study abroad in London this summer, this better be my friend group and what I am wearing. FAB!
November 29, 2013 at 12:09 pm
Haha some of theses comments are quite funny.
Londonistas dress for themselves -for their mood, not the weather. They are not influenced too much by Paris/Milan/New York or anywhere else tbh as the city has its own electic and unique fashion dynamic.
The girl looks great – elegantly understated but nothing special.
At least one of the guys comes close to overdoing things with his ‘ look’ which is totally uncool in London.
It isn’t a fashion shoot so why would they need to look co-ordinated!!
Imho the girl and guy to her right are continental rather than ‘British’…though maybe not with THAT brolly! ;)
