I looooove off-the-shoulder dresses but this one isn’t doing much for me- especially with the necklace and shoes. :(

Agreed. Very cute dress and girl. But I would have paired this dress with at least a black shoe. I understand the need for comfort when walking, but I think a heel might help this look out. It’s a versatile dress. It would look cute over jeans and THEN maybe those shoes would work.

The shoes MAKE the look.

Love this simple dress and how it shows off her beautiful shoulders.

Very pretty. Still skeptical about the Birkenstock Bandwagon, but I find her nude pair surprisingly tolerable
August 25, 2013 at 11:05 am
Still can’t make up my mind whether I like this dress or not. On someone less pretty maybe not.
August 25, 2013 at 11:07 am
Simply beautiful! Great subject lighting.
August 25, 2013 at 11:24 am
She looks perfect and I like that dress.

Love the simplicity of the shoes, dress, and necklace, so clean and casual.
August 25, 2013 at 11:41 am
The one-piece is looking good.

Wow, love this dress in contrast with the street. The lightning in this picture is just perfect.

Don’t know if my first comment was published.
Ok, again, just said Jane Birkin would have loved this look when she was young (she still is wonderful).
Birkenstock like sandals and a simple elegant dress, can’t hurt. And if the girl is pretty like she is, she can wear every dress!

Super sweet dress !
See what I wore for dinner date on Saturday

Love how she’s wearing the sandals so casually like she just got out of bed and didn’t care what she was wearing yet she still looks amazing

dots are the new black. a part from myself, for me black is the only new black!
August 25, 2013 at 3:18 pm
She is gorgeous enough to make a casual and comfortable look seem stunning and carefree.
August 25, 2013 at 3:23 pm
Love this pic, her dress but not the shoes. Some delicate strappy sandals would have been better.

Like the simplicity of the dress. Nice picture :-)

Perfect lighting! She’s definitely rocking those Birkenstocks!
August 25, 2013 at 6:46 pm
I love polka dots and I like how she catches all the light in the photo!
August 25, 2013 at 8:54 pm
I find your composition to be fascinating… The “stripes” of the doors and the “block-iness” of the UPS truck against the polka dots. Great study in patterns.

she’s hot :)
August 26, 2013 at 5:33 am
love the simplicity of the dress.. very sensual with outline of body peepin thru and that hair!! Sandals adding some flavour too
August 26, 2013 at 5:38 am
The beautiful simplicity of everything from her ankles upward is not flatteringly complemented by those ‘blah’ sandals
This could be so killer, and so would she (as she very obviously is in any case) with the substitiution of some elegant simple, strappy, leather, summer footwear
August 26, 2013 at 8:07 am
I agree 100%. Plus, I wouldn’t call this footwear ‘sandals’, but rather ‘indoor slippers’. I think we need more healthy opposition to the Birkenstock rise to power! :-)
August 26, 2013 at 5:49 am
I’d wear this in a heartbeat!
August 26, 2013 at 5:52 am
I like the combination of sexy-off shoulder, innocent playful polka dots, and earthy yet elegant-in-spirit nude Birkenstocks. the whole ensemble shows a willingness and interest in playing with different codes of fashion and culture. I am fascinated by the upsurge in Birkenstock fashion–they’re everywhere here in Europe and the ways in which fashionable people interpret them is really interesting. That to me is the essence of street fashion. The nude color was omnipresent this summer. So different from the 80s Arizona-model-with-thick-socks thing, which I never could buy into. Morevoer, she looks comfortable and at ease.

Love the Birkenstocks!!! I can’t wait to figure out more ways to wear mine without looking the same as I did in the 90′s.
August 26, 2013 at 9:55 am
All great except for the Birks. I wore them in high school & wish they stayed in that time :)

August 26, 2013 at 10:56 am
Lovely girl! And such beautiful light! AND THAT DRESS! Where can I buy THAT DRESS??
August 26, 2013 at 11:12 am
The dress is the MALO dress from Reformation- she is elegant and Eco friendly!
August 26, 2013 at 12:38 pm
Hooray for every photo with Birkenstocks. I´ll go tomorrow to buy the second pair of them in my life, as the old ones are really worn out. Bless them! (I have and wear quite a sortiment of other shoes as well, they come and go, but Birkenstocks are there to stay.)
August 26, 2013 at 6:38 pm
What a beautiful shot! The use of light and shadow is stunning, as is this lovely woman. The polka dots are great! xo
August 27, 2013 at 8:59 pm
Not too sure about this look. It appears she just stepped out of an episode of Charlie’s Angels.
August 28, 2013 at 9:27 am
