babe is ready to rip- you can sense the adventure- it’s oozing out of her eyes.
August 14, 2013 at 11:53 am
really diggin these Montauk images. that datsun too.
August 14, 2013 at 11:57 am
All beautiful, but fave is the way the aqua in her wetsuit looks next to the emerald green pick up. And on her toes, she looks like a ballerina surfer.
August 14, 2013 at 12:05 pm
of course you found Tara…nice shots;)

Love these photos, so beautiful! Another story for tomorrow?
August 14, 2013 at 12:41 pm
Seems like everything is trending so Eighties or Nineties now, but this photo well speaks on the timelessness of relaxing at the beach.
August 14, 2013 at 12:49 pm
gosh, pic looks really awesome. I would really like to know the brand of the bikini
August 14, 2013 at 2:58 pm
The bikini is from a brand called Kiini! Kiini.net

I like that color and composition you are always great work.

I spent a summer in and around Montauk. I have simple and cherished memories of being there. I liked that the water was a little warmer than the Pacific near southern California.
The pix are amazing. Makes me want to leave work and run out to the ocean, work out more consistently, find a bikini like hers or similar and wish for an endless summer.
August 14, 2013 at 1:36 pm
THESE ARE AMAZING
August 14, 2013 at 2:11 pm
The light , the colors, the clarity. Stunning. Wish summer would never end.
August 14, 2013 at 2:13 pm
A great sequence of photographs: unadorned and yet stylish, physically fit and beautiful, an appreciation for old things (e.g., the Datsun) and the simple things in life that make it all worthwhile (a single fin surfboard, early chilly and uncrowded mornings at the beach, and an open truck bed).
August 14, 2013 at 2:38 pm
Thanks for repping the SALT surfboard Tara!
August 14, 2013 at 3:01 pm
Amazing photography as always – don’t quite get what is ‘sartorial’ about it ‘though.
August 14, 2013 at 3:16 pm
Wooooooww. The vibe, the neon colours, the crochet/neoprene contrast, the truck! . Love everything. Make me want to take surf lessons!

Love the way your 2 recent Montauk surfing sequences play off each other–the first, with its softly-focused backgrounds, muted colors, and rich shadows; now this one, with its glowing light and rich colors (that truck!). They both have an almost tactile quality–the first, like mist on a cool morning; the second, like warm sunshine in a crisp breeze.

So nice this photos from Montauk (and those with surfer’ guy, a lovely place))

Yes, she is uncommonly attractive. But feeling the health and strength that she generates is something we can all work toward.
I look forward to your missives from Ditch Plains every summer!
