nice style, i like it

Thank you, thank you, thank you for not showing racerbacks with the bra straps hanging out. This trend drives me nuts and I see it everywhere.
August 1, 2013 at 4:19 pm
So the solution is to go bra-less as these women have? I’d rather see straps than sagging boobs, myself.
August 1, 2013 at 6:37 pm
I agree. But strapless or multiway bras are a much better option.
August 3, 2013 at 7:47 pm
My boobs are too big to go bra-less, and I do think having bras show under these racerback outfits, even lacy, beautiful ones, would spoil the look. But women who are not big-chested should for it. The woman pictured here look great doing it.

Not sagging, just say – dancing :)
Dancing boobs – it is natural, sexy and sooooo 70′s. Love it!
August 2, 2013 at 10:24 am
Totally agree! There are bras made for these tops – of course, some of the ones shown are a bit extreme, and wouldn’t accomodate anything underneath! But still…I HATE seeing regular bras worn with this type of style. Bra straps are not made to be seen!

Great from the back… but how good does the front look like? (i.e. without a bra!)
August 1, 2013 at 4:23 pm
I agree. While these are beautiful women, It think this can look trashy, easily, or even sloppy. Good for the gym, but otherwise…I don’t know.

These border on trashy for me. Way too sloppy and careless. There has to be a better way to show a back off.

I was thinking the same… and one of these top seems to be quite sheer.
August 1, 2013 at 4:10 pm
Racerbacks are interesting they usually hang loose. But the materials of the top can very so greatly, the line between classy and trashy is sort of a fine one.

As usual, Scott bringing us sexy backs! Love it!

love the tirth skirt <3

Racerbacks are my favorite way to be clothed without feeling like it.
August 1, 2013 at 5:08 pm
I love how these look without bras, but unless the woman have very small breasts, the front will not look as nice. Especially like #1 and have a feeling the front of her looks as good as the back. Print dress is also interesting as the open back adds sexiness to a dress that could look prim.

Racerback, racerfront. I absolutely love it!

Huh? Racerfront?!!! Wow! Can you tell me in what city this occurs?

Adore racer backs, I love how they can look so femenine!
August 1, 2013 at 6:43 pm
Thank you for helping me decide. I don’t like the look – it’s strangely unattractive. Especially the way they’re all clutching their arms to their sides to avoid flashing everyone. How stressful, and it shows. But gotta give them credit for trying it out.

Perfect summery silhouette! Love the diversity of the styling here; that dress on the bottom right is lovely and such an unexpected use of a racerback style! xo
August 1, 2013 at 6:58 pm
Well, I’m not the most stylish person, but I sometimes wear racerbacks with a cute bandeau top underneath. It’s less trashy than a bra. I have a black pleather one that looks kind of cool. Ok, that does sound a little trashy, but I still like it. This look is definitely for the young and small-boobed, regardless.

I don’t see anything sexy about this women’s back, they look like men ….
August 22, 2013 at 4:59 pm
ditto. skinny men.
August 1, 2013 at 8:41 pm
I have not been thinking about racerbacks, but I will definitely be thinking a lot about that dress at picture #4.

these ladies just have such gorgeous backs!

I think I love the racer back even more than the backless! So beautiful!
August 1, 2013 at 11:36 pm
Very nice article. Just be happy and like your self. Show your back if you feel comfortable. Nothing wrong with that.
August 2, 2013 at 1:35 am
Love them all!

I’ve never been a fan of this look … and I think I won’t change my opinion after these pics.
August 2, 2013 at 3:31 am
Gorgeous! But this isn’t for every woman especially without a bra. This trend can become very unsightly very quickly.

I really love that style and sometimes I wore it too. Some people like it, some no.. It is a choice. Have a nice day.
August 2, 2013 at 5:29 am
Gorgeous! Of course, the classic T by A Wang tank is the perfect racerback in my opinion:
And wouldn’t they all look lovely with some delicate body jewelry showing underneath? Just discovered these and am obsessed:
August 2, 2013 at 5:50 am
No. Keep it for the gym. On men. And then when I’m not around.
They’re covering the nicest part of their backs and emphasising the ribs! The ribs! Ugly!
Lovely skirt on bottom left who almost pulls of the look with much higher sides.
August 2, 2013 at 6:44 am
Somehow it looks very cheap.
August 2, 2013 at 7:13 am
I love racerback tees and I’ve bought an Acne one from super thin cotton but… What about the bra? I’m super clueless because I hate straps showing and unlike a lot of girls in fashion, I’m not flat (plus I don’t want to flash everyone on the subway).
August 2, 2013 at 8:17 am
I loved it!!!
August 2, 2013 at 8:47 am
I love racerbacks!! You can easily wear a strapless bra, depending on how low the side goes. That’s how I always wear mine ;)
August 2, 2013 at 9:48 am
I hate these tops. I think they look kinda tacky.
August 2, 2013 at 9:55 am
This morning I was wearing a top like those, like them!
August 2, 2013 at 11:35 am
My vote is: Yuk!
IS THIS IT? models review
August 2, 2013 at 3:06 pm
I just think some solutions I’ve seen around these days are quite “too extreme”…
August 2, 2013 at 3:35 pm
I love the dress. so femme and flirty and it plays off of the 90′s trend nicely.
August 4, 2013 at 12:09 am
dislike racerbacks. even the best of them look somewhat trashy, to me.
August 4, 2013 at 8:08 am
Gorgeous. But since I’ve got breasts, I could never wear these types of tops…..more power to them.
August 5, 2013 at 9:44 am
the two at the bottom look ok and less trashy but i can’t pull off these trend since i actually have boobs
August 17, 2013 at 9:12 pm
Thanks for posting these photo’s….I will never again wear a deep cut racer back (other than in the gym) again! Most un-flattering shirt on women ever…What was I thinking???
