July 18, 2013 at 3:22 pm
Very cool! looking good ;)
July 18, 2013 at 3:30 pm
Perfect summery shirt, Scott! Fantastic shot! Hope you had an incredible time in Bali (how could you not?)!
July 18, 2013 at 3:47 pm
With a pair of khaki cargo shorts this shirt will make a perfect combo.

Love your pics …. are so natural
Most likely thin striped cotton seersucker, no?
July 18, 2013 at 3:55 pm
Beautiful shirt, I must agree. The color, the pinstripes, the look of the fabric.
I actually got a similar looking shirt with band collar and in a similar blue, but no pin stripes. It’s simple, yet very elegant. I love it.
July 18, 2013 at 4:00 pm
Great shot! Great shirt. Love it. Post more of Bali please.
July 18, 2013 at 4:15 pm
beautiful pic of you!
July 18, 2013 at 4:24 pm
A popover shirt, and you wear it well.
July 18, 2013 at 4:26 pm
You look really great in that shirt! As well as in general… you’re just very handsome.
July 18, 2013 at 4:34 pm
Are those aviators smaller than average? I love how they look on you. When I put on standard Ray Ban aviators they seem rather large.
July 19, 2013 at 7:12 am
Ditto – always on the look out for smaller profile aviators…haven’t seen them yet.
July 19, 2013 at 11:45 am
I’m petite and Ray Bans overwhelm my face. I found some beautiful smaller aviators at Oliver Peoples.
July 22, 2013 at 7:21 am
Great – thx!
July 18, 2013 at 5:00 pm
SO handsome, WOW. And the shirt looks great too…
July 18, 2013 at 5:14 pm
Great photo, and your shirt is cool!
July 18, 2013 at 5:17 pm
I have a tendency to prefer men’s clothing and this shirt is a perfect example. I like everything about it, especially the collar we called, a long time ago, Nehru collar. Great picture.
July 18, 2013 at 5:26 pm
Looking good indeed! Great photo too!
July 18, 2013 at 5:37 pm
I was only looking at the picture without reading the text, thinking by myself, what a great shirt….
July 18, 2013 at 5:47 pm
Looks great!!! I love a collar like this!
July 18, 2013 at 5:48 pm
So cool and perfect for summer!
July 18, 2013 at 6:13 pm
my mum bought me sarong when she was in Bali..it would be interesting to post some ways to wear it..like locals do :)
btw..I advised my brother to buy a shirt like that, and it looks great on him..it is mixture of cotton and linen, the best kind of fabric for summer..maybe yours is also mixture ;)
July 18, 2013 at 6:25 pm
It really suits you well also in Bali.
Probably because of no collar
making you look more laid back and cooler in that tropical island.
I wear a linen long sleeved shirt a lot when I stay in Bali and found it’s the best
material to wear there also avoid mosquitos!
I want you to visit my dream house in Ubud!
July 18, 2013 at 6:53 pm
Really nice… Looks good on you
July 18, 2013 at 6:59 pm
The online store says it is made of linen (lino).
July 18, 2013 at 7:08 pm
Does anyone know the brand of sunglasses?
July 18, 2013 at 7:23 pm
The sunglasses are perfect for you, fit & style. It makes me think how this is rarely mastered!
July 18, 2013 at 8:24 pm

Man, great shot. The shirt is perfect and the relaxed look makes me want to be sitting at the beach wearing it. I’ve gotta check out Man 1924.
July 18, 2013 at 10:34 pm
Looking cool, in all senses of the word :D
July 18, 2013 at 11:09 pm
It’s a great fit – that’s got a lot to do with it. Looks like the neckline has been cut really well too. Nice.
July 19, 2013 at 12:30 am
Beautiful shirt and man. I think the Garance impact is at work here enhancing both shirt and man.

That’s a good-looking shirt, and you look good in it!
(And judging from the lovely portrait, Ms. Dore agrees.)

Nice shirt. I think the word ‘Linen’ is very loose, and sometimes refers to cotton as well. In Arabic we call linen “Kettan”… Cotton, which is originall an Arabic word is..well.. Kottn. So it seems like the 2 are not always 2 different things.
July 19, 2013 at 5:30 pm
I agree, it’s a great shirt. Looking good!
July 19, 2013 at 6:21 pm
Sorry Scott but you need to be Zen and smile. You look like a thug . . .
July 20, 2013 at 6:14 am
I’ll take thug ;))
July 19, 2013 at 7:15 pm
The band collar is a look I’ve been getting more and more into. Kind of a modern gypsy look if worn the right way. Great pic!
July 20, 2013 at 7:23 am
Don’t know you except for following your blog but have to add that something about the shirt really suits you.
July 20, 2013 at 10:01 am
I love the aesthetics of your work, so don’t get me wrong. But there’s something very jarring about a picture of a little girl in what we would in the western world describe as poverty followed immediately by a woman on the streets of Paris indicating a lavish and extravagant lifestyle of fashion, and then you talking about how many compliments you get on…your shirt. I do love the detail-oriented nature of this blog, but some of these bali posts seem sort of “thrown in” as if their only value is aesthetic and you’re not possibly capturing a much more profound subject in those pictures than in ANY of your others.

I personally don’t like these collars so much… I mean, for me shirt + tie, ALWAYS, and this way it’s just impossible…
July 25, 2013 at 4:41 am
You are a very handsome man. And what a style
July 27, 2013 at 9:01 am
I noticed this shirt is not available in their store anymore. Where can I find a similar shirt?
