My first impression: that’s how you do tattoos.
Also that wristwatch contains those tattoos and without an overbearing statement centers the photograph

Slightly distressed white jeans. Who knew?
Beltless and effortless

That is nice ink. Rather, it’s someone who has a vision of themselves as a canvas for it. So many times do we see a bunch of tattoos jumbled together, on top of each other, people just run out of space. There was thought and total design planned. Love to see it in its entirety.

I like the distressed jeans, very subtle… and the tattoos, I spot a reel of thread and a scissors in there, nice idea.

What’s to like about a perfectly nice pair of jeans with deliberately torn holes? Way too much affectation in those jeans. IMHO.

Love this outfit. So great!

What an interesting contrast between his preppier, euro-nautical outfit and the edginess of the tattoos.

Italians do Summer better than we all could. “I threw this shirt on and didn’t even bother to finish buttoning it. My collars are not stayed, and I’m way too invested in this conversation on my phone to even tuck my shirt in neatly.” Disheveled perfection.

Some tattoos are ok, these however look homemade – not great.
Also not a fan of the holey jeans, I think if he is going to wear a button down shirt and blazer then holey jeans don’t work.
We are adults, yes?

What a great jacket. Love the color and the subtle herringbone stripe. And the gingham is a perfect compliment. However, I don’t like the over the shoulder look on a man. If you don’t want to wear the jacket, I like it better draped over an arm.

Hope those pants ‘earned’ those holes.

Great pic! Can’t decide on the tatoo thing? I know many commenters like it but, He has too many to be sexy!

Anyone knows where the glasses are from, please?? I’ve seen those several times on people, but could never find out…
July 13, 2013 at 5:46 pm

not liking the look, though. i don’t get it…
July 14, 2013 at 3:59 am
i love the way you mention all the details about this photo/man without mentioning the tatts !! bravo
July 14, 2013 at 8:45 pm
when will virgin, un-tattooed skin become fashionable again? tattoos can be so messy and overdone.
July 15, 2013 at 9:54 pm
Indeed. Overwrought and paradoxically very conformist.
July 15, 2013 at 9:24 pm
You should really have a “tattoos” tag on this site. They are a permanent part of a person’s style.

He needs a good belt on those jeans…always accessorize guys.

I’m pretty certain the glasses are Oliver Peoples – Sheldrake. I bought the same pair a few weeks ago, great glasses. Also, liking the look minus the torn white jeans.
