I work with college kids and love the way they’ll put on any old thing and still look great. There’s something about intelligent youth that appeals, no matter what wacky thing it’s wearing today.

For some reason I’m loving his jacket. I really like it.

i think everyone is merely agreeing with the venerable person who writes this blog…I think his look is a tad too baggy and here and there…

I like what he's wearing except the necklace (which I think is awful) because I feel like it cheapens the look and the individuality of it

He is TOTALLY rocking a pooka shell necklace! Brings me back to high school 1987…. I wonder if he has a mexican pullover hoodie (think grateful dead concert).

this is what i love about the sartorialist. its about a moment, its about personal style and comfort in one's skin, its what's good about fashion. i love it.

Wouldn't be my choice – but it certainly works for him.

Perfect casual fit, colors work for him. Understated and puts the focus on the person, not the clothes. With an attitude like that, popped collar and puka shells are not an issue.
Color of the buttons and pant stitching create a vertical continuity along with his hair color.
