I like Thom Browne’s clothes — except for the pants that end four inches above the wearer’s shoe tops. Bizarre . . . .
So bizarre, in fact, that a critic reviewing “Stay”, which featured Browne’s clothes, complained that the movie never explained why the leading man’s pants were so short.
I agree that Men’s Vogue has some beautiful images and great writing. But, the lead graphic designer (the one responsible for placing all text into white boxes) needs to learn how awful his design choices actually are.
the problem is he’s doing something totally retro. i mean there’s no modernity in it at all. it all looks like jfk circa 1965. there’s not even any reinterpretation. at ALL. i could download a few pics of jfk too and copy some suits.
