His silver tie pin is fabulous !

oh to be that thin again.. i just wish the waist were a little higher.. (hip-huggers make legs look malformed and “degenerate”)
June 17, 2013 at 5:28 pm
“oh to be this thin again” I couldn’t agree more!
But as a stocky guy, I appreciate the lower rise on mens pants when I can find them because I’m so short waisted (even though I’m 6′ tall) and it can easily look like the waist of my pants is up under my rib cage…not a good look.
Also, I’m not loving the knit ties, I wore them in the ’80s. I guess it’s because I’m a stocky man and the look is better on a thinner man.
But all-in-all…this guy looks great!

Worked for me.

This is a ridiculous diet and works against how human digestive systems now function. The “science” used to support it is spotty at best and pushes people to eat and live in a way that will last you until your next slice of bread, at which point you’ll balloon right back up. Eat healthy, be active, and learn to be happy with your life. That’s the best “diet” you’ll ever take on.
June 24, 2013 at 12:29 am
Just say no to low waists. Thank you. ;)

London in a shot. I love his beard. The suits nice too!!

June 17, 2013 at 4:47 pm
Good look, bad taste in beer…!
What a dapper man. No, seriously, he’s so dapper. Great picture and decent beer. Sol is from Mexico, correct?
June 17, 2013 at 5:35 pm
agreed and yes it is a mexican beer :)
id definitely love to have that man on my arm
June 18, 2013 at 4:54 pm
As do we! He’s definitely handsome which just makes his dapper look that much better.
June 23, 2013 at 11:52 am
Yes, the Sol beer is from Mexico. So ….good to see that this beer is appreciated in the Uk. Nice picture. Thank you Scott

I love this men style, he is so sexy and elegant
June 17, 2013 at 4:55 pm

June 17, 2013 at 4:56 pm
Why are they drinking Sol beer?
June 17, 2013 at 8:12 pm
por que no?
June 18, 2013 at 2:49 pm
Yeah why not? It’s a great beer! Oh and looks fantastic, very very handsome!

June 17, 2013 at 5:06 pm
London is always a great place to search for menswear inspiration! Loving his style, and the smile doesn’t hurt ;)
Beautifully captured a moment in time. He looks so elegant.
June 17, 2013 at 5:10 pm
Nice combination of the green textured tie, navy pocket square and red lapel pin. Nice to see men not afraid to add color. The fellow beside him looked pretty interesting as well.

Love his look, especially the colour of his tie! :X
June 17, 2013 at 5:23 pm
They are drinking Mexican beer!
June 17, 2013 at 5:30 pm
I love how he mixes the Bottle Green tie with a navy handkerchief – It balances very well, and with the timeless grey suit, its perfection.. Not to mention the orange detail :-) Great picture, Scott.
June 17, 2013 at 5:46 pm
That looks like Daniel Kennedy.
June 17, 2013 at 5:56 pm
I love this pub!
June 17, 2013 at 6:08 pm
It seems like he wears that suit often, and he wears it so well. From the wrinkles I understand that, he really owns the clothing it is not the other way round. Men with the very neat, perfectly ironed suits are uninteresting.
June 17, 2013 at 6:13 pm
Love that spot of red!
June 17, 2013 at 6:14 pm
The colour and textures works harmoniously – nice one Daniel!
June 17, 2013 at 6:22 pm
classic…is that emrald grren on the tie? love
much love from NYC
June 17, 2013 at 6:29 pm
Green tie with red beard =perfection
June 17, 2013 at 6:37 pm
What lovely teeth (always the first thing I check out!).
June 17, 2013 at 6:40 pm
Please make beards go away! Make it stop. I would love to see that man beardless!
June 17, 2013 at 6:53 pm
Sorry. No braided belts. Ever.
June 18, 2013 at 7:21 am
Norman I would normally agree you and his belt could be a little narrow for that suit but I think with the open weave of the knitted tie it actually works quite well and the lighter grey suit can carry off a brown belt.
June 17, 2013 at 7:10 pm
June 17, 2013 at 7:33 pm
Green of the tie. Green of his eyes.
Great shot – Daper indeed! Nothing like a good suit…

June 17, 2013 at 7:58 pm
His hair and beard look just right with the classic ensemble–nice balance there. And from what we can see, the gentleman on the left seems to be pretty darn spiffy too!
June 17, 2013 at 8:16 pm
The hair and the smail ♥
June 17, 2013 at 9:24 pm
Yes!!! Throw in a cute face (with full-on beard and mustache) and an accent (I’m American and he could be as well, but I highly doubt it). My, oh my.
June 17, 2013 at 8:39 pm
I used to work at the old crown! His look is bleeding marvelous mate !
June 17, 2013 at 8:53 pm
Photos like this one put the hugest smile on my face. I love the impeccable taste in clothing both Gents seem to have, but most of all…THE MOMENT. I love these captured moments. Photography serves many purposes, but this has got to be what it’s REALLY intended for.
June 17, 2013 at 8:59 pm
I am in love! His glance of easy intrigue is completely disarming. This is hipster chic at its best!
June 17, 2013 at 9:17 pm
So that’s the coolest dude ever…
June 17, 2013 at 10:01 pm
Love this look! Great pic!
June 17, 2013 at 10:30 pm
Bit all over the place with colours and selection of pieces; red (pin) or blue (tie) hued pocketchief better- doesnt have to be matchy matchy; I would pick a brown banded watch for the brown leather weave belt. Like to see the shoes though.
June 17, 2013 at 10:35 pm
Hi nose is so beautiful ! It already gives to his face a very classy appearance. I love special noses.
June 17, 2013 at 10:39 pm
His teeth are beautiful. I always notice great teeth. What. a. smile.
June 17, 2013 at 11:35 pm
That red lapel pin was fantastic, really made the whole look complete.
June 18, 2013 at 1:18 am
Looks so effortless.
June 18, 2013 at 1:20 am
Really a nice photo and his smile is.. Soo nice. xa.
June 18, 2013 at 2:12 am
Pony* making a suit look it’s best. Jeez…yess!
June 18, 2013 at 2:19 am
LOVE the bearded mans look! the knit tie, the sleek slim suit, with the beard to top off his look! perfection!
His beard nicely compliments the contour of his face.
June 18, 2013 at 3:39 am
Something so striking about a well dressed man. Love it.
June 18, 2013 at 3:41 am
Great photo. Handsome guy. Beautifully dressed and wonderful surroundings. I wouldn’t mind betting the bloke is actually American though! He does not look British. And I’m talking purely in terms of how he dresses. Looks dapper of course. But American dapper. x
July 1, 2013 at 4:09 pm
sorry to disappoint you.. he is british, his name is Daniel Kennedy and he lives in bristol and works for Reiss.
July 8, 2013 at 12:15 pm
So he’s a Bristol lad? I’ve been trying to find out who he is- his face is wonderful to paint, but knowing he’s my neighbour’s even better :).
June 18, 2013 at 4:09 am
My favourite thing about this is the little red badge. For me it makes the suit look playful – still formal, but less serious. PS i’m a fan of Sol beer, why peeps be dogging it!!!?

June 18, 2013 at 6:38 am
Is it cool for gentlemen to drink beer directly from the bottle? I must be old-fachoned!
June 23, 2013 at 12:00 pm
It is soooo good to drink a cold beer direct from the bottle. I do it myself.
June 18, 2013 at 6:59 am
Bring back knitted ties! Adds texture.
June 18, 2013 at 7:08 am
Reminiscence of the 70′s ! Deep in conversation. Lovely smile. I’d like to see more of the gentleman on the left, club collar shirt and hat, I love.
June 20, 2013 at 8:28 pm
My sentiments exactly. Would love to see the man he is talking to. Looks interesting.
June 18, 2013 at 7:09 am
Is he wearing a RECord button..?
June 18, 2013 at 7:23 am
What wonderful teeth! His face is lovely, his clothes ditto, and I know it’s de rigeur to wear heavy beards at the moment, but for some reason I just can’t bring myself to like them.
June 18, 2013 at 7:30 am
is this Justin O’Shea…he looks so sweet…not the man of mystery i have a crush on..

June 18, 2013 at 8:57 am
So handsome! Love how effortless it looks
June 18, 2013 at 10:01 am
Yes he is beautiful and beautifully dressed. Perfect in fact. By the way from hi lapel pin I would say he is neither British or American! The red lapel pin is the Chevalier de Legion d’Honneur, so I would say that he is French…
June 18, 2013 at 10:03 am
Such an interesting man!!!
June 18, 2013 at 11:33 am
I am in Loooooveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee…………………..
June 18, 2013 at 12:05 pm
Nice, natural, beautiful teeth. :-)
June 18, 2013 at 3:27 pm
I love any picture of a man with a beard.
June 18, 2013 at 8:20 pm
A great look! (the woman in the corner seems to agree)
June 19, 2013 at 1:25 am
Beautiful sexy man.)
June 19, 2013 at 3:05 am
It’s difficult to tell but his pin looks like an enamel poppy – paper poppies are worn in the UK in November as an act of remembrance for the war dead – first started after the first world war. But enamel poppy badges are increasingly worn throughout the year as a sign of support for the armed services.
June 19, 2013 at 3:05 pm
What a distinct style, and such a charming photo.
June 19, 2013 at 4:12 pm
June 19, 2013 at 6:18 pm
Oh, and the red pin was our entry badge for London Collections Men this week.
June 19, 2013 at 9:31 pm
Now that is what I call a beard!
June 20, 2013 at 12:42 pm
Let down by the fact that are drinking SOL at a London Boozer – Not cool….
June 20, 2013 at 3:36 pm
Great pic. Alls he is missing is a bowler cap. But, the gentleman he is speaking with looks to be even more dapper? Too bad we couldnt see a pic of them both. Nice work Scott. Thanks!
June 20, 2013 at 10:04 pm
He looks very dapper indeed
June 21, 2013 at 11:57 am
He is lovely. But I hate those high pony tails and I think he has one.
June 22, 2013 at 1:48 pm
June 23, 2013 at 5:03 pm
Smart look, casual elegance. Handsome man, I would cut his hair and shave the beard though! imo
June 23, 2013 at 6:08 pm
I need to know where can I buy the tie!!!
June 24, 2013 at 12:30 am
Ok first that young hottie, with his glass of water, now this one. That pub is looking interesting!
June 24, 2013 at 2:26 pm
OMG it is!! It’s Dan Kennedy! I saw him at LFW. To die for.
June 24, 2013 at 3:55 pm
Dave Shearn – you are cheeky! ;-)
June 24, 2013 at 7:35 pm
Yes, very nice tie and pocket square but I’m very much against the long hair-bearded-hipster look, especially in a suit. It’s quite a forced elegance.
June 24, 2013 at 7:49 pm
First thing that caught my eye were his beautiful teeth. Both gents are very dapper.
June 24, 2013 at 11:23 pm
Knitted green tie with a tie clip. Good choice!
June 28, 2013 at 12:01 am
His trousers are too low-waisted and I’m not a fan of the too casual woven leather belt. The knit tie is nice although I prefer a more elegant self-lined necktie for summertime. The gentleman with whom the beard guy is speaking is rocking an interesting Eton collar.
August 22, 2013 at 1:13 pm
Great photo and great energy. The little red badge is a poppy pin badge. They are worn particularly around Remembrance Day in the UK to pay respect to the members of the armed forces who have died since the first world war. The badges help raise money for charity to support members of the armed forces.
August 30, 2013 at 12:38 pm
Nice picture. Though, I wouldn’t choose Sol in a British Pub– no it’s much better to have on a Mexican beach when you’re feeling a bit heady from the sun’s intensity. Of course you know the beer will only contribute to the wooziness, but it’s so cool and just right.
