MES VOYAGES A PARIS
June 17, 2013 at 9:21 am
The clothes don’t complement her look.
Love this. Double denim is the summer look of the year. ESP in London. Beautiful shot!
June 17, 2013 at 9:23 am
Love this. It’s such a London look :)
June 17, 2013 at 9:25 am
Love this outfit, beautiful jeans!
June 17, 2013 at 9:33 am
Outstanding, the textures, tones and her style, are a perfect standout for the blue overtones. Her shoes are fantastic! Brilliant composition and style.
June 17, 2013 at 9:36 am
i want to see more of that clutch and her shoes! odd pairings with this wide-legged blousy look
THE STEL STYLE

Beauty in a plain brown wrapper.
We see you there.

great pict! so inspiring! almu
June 17, 2013 at 9:56 am
Love how she kept it simple and then there is the bag, the pattern on it is just beautiful!
June 17, 2013 at 9:57 am
How to wear black and white?
June 17, 2013 at 10:05 am
Gorgeous, love all the contrasts and colors.
June 17, 2013 at 10:06 am
I love the boxy looking denim pants…sort of refreshing considering all the jeggings and fitted skinny jeans you see. Not only that…this would be super easy to sew!
June 17, 2013 at 10:12 am
Love her sandals! Think they are Nicholas Kirkwood.
June 17, 2013 at 10:21 am
Gotta get myself some pants like that
June 17, 2013 at 10:35 am
yep. just the front view of the “people are sick of skinny jeans” train.
June 17, 2013 at 10:38 am
Oh, the fawning compliments over an oversized sweatshirt-type top and loose jeans!
Every fashion rule is meant to be broken, but I do prefer loose top w/slim pants or skirt… or snug top w/loose pants or skirt combo ….
I do love the clutch and shoes, though.
June 17, 2013 at 12:43 pm
I agree completely. If she were an average-looking girl, she wouldn’t get a second look. Now if she had done something interesting to complement the full pants, that would be worth the post. (And yes, the clutch and shoes are darling, but wasted on an outfit that looks better suited to gardening.)

Beautiful style! I really love the oversize pants and sweater worn with pretty sandals and clutch!
June 17, 2013 at 10:50 am
Great colors and cool jeans!

Good example of how close good style can be to no style. The subtle blues, the edge of the shirt, the cool shoes and pattern on the bag make it something nice to see, but with other shoes and no bag, it could just look like baggy, shapeless clothes. A small tweak or two on a pretty girl can turn nothing into something.
June 17, 2013 at 2:16 pm
great first sentence!
June 17, 2013 at 11:17 am
her jeans are perfection.
June 17, 2013 at 11:43 am
In love with her bag!
June 17, 2013 at 12:03 pm
Not every outfit is a winner, this is sloppy at BEST. Nice for a walk around the house, nothing more
June 17, 2013 at 12:12 pm
Perfect outfit and perfect photo..
June 17, 2013 at 12:19 pm
I don’t think her accessories are as cool as her clothes
June 17, 2013 at 12:27 pm
Love the jeans!
June 17, 2013 at 1:08 pm
Love that the shirt is oversized as well. Rules be damned.

Great jeans…. the wall is perfect for this shot…. amazing eye the Sartorialist!
June 17, 2013 at 1:39 pm
I really love this outfit! My new obsessions are sweater and denim!!
June 17, 2013 at 1:47 pm
I love those jeans on her! \
June 17, 2013 at 2:33 pm
Indigo, my favorite blue, reminds me of the fountain tiles in North Africa.
June 17, 2013 at 2:38 pm
Colors, geometric shapes, textures, contrasts – everything in one photo! The clothes by themselves perhaps don’t appear to be anything special but there is poetry in your composition aligning her over-sized elongated pants parallel to the doors. Sometimes your posts are more about photography than fashion. Here, the background accentuates the girl’s long frame – a casual grace.

With beauty like this, you don’t notice the clothes…….nice shot.
June 17, 2013 at 3:30 pm
I don’t LOVE this outfit, but I do like the oversized look in general. Everything these days is so form fitting, it’s refreshing to see some variety in shape.
Also, I always love when a gorgeous woman wears something that isn’t simply about looking sexy, but is also about looking cool or like she might also be an interesting person.
June 17, 2013 at 3:59 pm
She is perfect!
June 17, 2013 at 4:19 pm
Love her denim!
June 17, 2013 at 4:49 pm
Those pants are much needed. Oversized doesn’t fit everyone but it does on her.
Best, xx http://chictrends.co.uk/
June 17, 2013 at 4:53 pm
Very Bananarama. Nice to see something different and – dare I say it – anti-”skinny” on a gorgeous woman.

Love the denim look, but all I want to do this time of year in the South is restyle mine into cutoffs!
June 17, 2013 at 6:45 pm
I’ve been missing your shots! So glad you’re back :)
Love this pic, she looks so different, unique style!
June 17, 2013 at 8:12 pm
I love loose and slouchy any old day. The accessories are what make it, which is what you said in an earlier post.
June 17, 2013 at 8:16 pm
Who makes those baggy jeans ? I too, want to dance on the fine line between fashion and gardening.
June 17, 2013 at 8:18 pm
Her attitude is everything!
June 17, 2013 at 9:28 pm
My question is often the same when I look at these images…would this be taken as a fashion faux pas if the woman was a size 10/12? I happen to adore the baggy pants, oversized look and wish i could replicate it, but I am a shorter woman and currently a size 10. Would I be called “dumpy” in this look, or many of the others I have seen here, or would I be able to get away with it if my face is pretty enough, or if I was young enough?

June 18, 2013 at 8:23 am
I have noticed this girl at the pub and thought she looked great!
June 18, 2013 at 12:55 pm
What a great pair of jeans. Shoes, too. I like her understated look-twice outfit, and how comfortable she is in it. For some reason reminds me of that old Rolling Stones tune, ‘The Singer Not the Song’.
June 19, 2013 at 9:38 am
Such interesting proportions! She’s super stunning and the backdrop is perfect. Great shot! xo

June 20, 2013 at 4:15 pm
Great Work…. Love the pose.
June 24, 2013 at 2:49 am
This is amazing. The shoes and the pants are perfection!
June 24, 2013 at 11:16 pm
This is so lovely with all the fresh blue tones and generous proportions.
Reminds me of the traditional outfit that Chinese country folk wear – baggy pants, wide-hemmed, paired with a cropped, square cut loose jacket, and neat little shoes.
It’s really so comfortable and elegant on this girl.
