A grown up version of Sally Draper in the big city! She look’s great sporting the bright print and darling red shoes! What really makes the photo is the lighting, love it!
Wow! The light in this picture is AMAZINGLY cool! What a great shot!
Oh, yeah, and I LOVE her shoes…they’re pretty awesome!

That’s dope. Really incredible well done !
May 1, 2013 at 9:50 am
At first glance, I thought this young woman was on stage, about to sing !
The shadow helped with the illusion of a standing mic !
May 1, 2013 at 1:27 pm
It does look like a stage. I thought it was from a fashion show at first glance. The lighting is wonderful, but it looks a bit creepy there

Likeness Great Color/Lighting!
May 1, 2013 at 9:58 am
Love this shot, the colors she’s wearing work so well with the shadows.

Great shot, awesome look.

For a moment there, I thought this was a stage. Great lighting to heighten the look
The shadow figure juxtaposing the words on the blue-colored wood board is like a Basquiat painting.

I love this shot and the color of her dress!
May 1, 2013 at 12:00 pm
I have an overwhelming desire to post a bill.
Purple and pink or blue and red; the combination pops.
Painterly pic. Nice.

Beautiful and enthralling colours all. Is Marlene Dietrich somewhere in the shadow?

Holy mother of pearl, that’s a great shot! My favorite detail is the shadow–at first glance it looks almost like a brooding alien of some kind, & it’s the perfect juxtaposition to her sunny neon-and-blond-ness.
May 1, 2013 at 1:30 pm
Sometimes the lighting says it all. The dress is nice, not particularly special in my opinion, but it pops against that blue wall.
May 1, 2013 at 1:31 pm
The shoes are Opening Ceremony.

Love the bright pink dress with the dark blue wall, great contrast!
May 1, 2013 at 3:27 pm
Like most, I love the use of light to isolate the figure and add punch to to colour. When it comes to her style, I do not care for the print – it is too matronly when combined with the shapelessness of the dress. Perhaps if she had cinched in the waist with a belt. And finally, snazzy shoes.
May 1, 2013 at 3:34 pm
This is a case in which a great photographic eye and a blah dress come together to make a striking image. Regarding style, the print and dress shape fail to come together in a way that is interesting, ironic, or flattering. I do love the shoes.

May 3, 2013 at 8:15 am
That may be the coolest picture I have ever seen. It almost looks like a stage set.
May 4, 2013 at 1:18 pm
That dress is by ASOS, fyi. It’s about $65 USD.

I’d say you sir, are beginning to push beyond that boundary that separates Street Style and creative photography. I’d love to see black and white images with a similar approach.
